Being that this is the 4th round of the playoffs, I am sure Hampton is an excellent program. But from what I have seen, they are possibly the 5th best team the Pirates have played all year. Pirates by 30.

From what I have heard from people who have watched the tape and from other people who has played against this big feller is that he is soft and once he gets hit a few times he is no longer a factor in the game and after seeing his picture and the other players in it they dont have a chance of catching one of sp running backs.

I've heard that if you keep saying that over and over it may become true.

If Hampton's players get fired up by what someone says on a message board, then their priorities aren't straightened out

You have just done an excellant job of proving my point. For the Pirates, I have nothing but respect and I'm more than willing to say that. Part of that respect is comes from following them for many, many weeks. The other part comes from the fact that they are part of something very special, a 13-0 team. You on the other hand seem to be content on thumbing your nose at the Dogs and what they have done. Oh, by the way. I was not giving you advice, I was only stating the obvious. Is it just me or are the Pirates the second coming of the Patriots. You guys are cracking me up. Pride in your team is a good thing, to a point. If you think the Hampton faithful have been trashing the Pirates you better read a little closer. There has been the occasional nut job, but for the most part we have shown the respect that a team 13-0 deserves. It's obvious South Pitt has it's share of nut jobs as well. All your doing is belittling what your team and ours have accomplished this year. I would be willing to bet that there is not a single player on the Pirate's sideline that are taking the Bulldogs for granted. Just the might of been, could have been, would have been bunch are flapping their yaps! Wesley get the Jr. High ready the way Hampton is so big and bad we might not have enough players to make it through the nite. By the way Zone you asked me if I have seen Hamton play, no I have not. Let me ask you, have you seen them play in person or just tape? The friend I was referring to who has not missed a state championship game in all classes in the past 25 years is a pretty good judge of talent and thats where I have got my info from for these past few years. For some of you who think I'm crazy read how close my predictions were in the last 3 weeks. I'm a born and bread Pirate so some of you later on Pirate fans dont tell me what Pirate football is about. This team is the real deal!!!!!!!! Hampton go ahead with your war of words. thats what all 13 of our opponents have done so far and there playing the round ball now. Your team is good I didn't say they weren't, but you have to prove you can get out of the semi's and win a state before you think you can compare with the likes of Trousdale County and South Pittsburg who are the only public schools to win championships in the past 15 years.

Let me give all of you Hampton fans a little reality check here! Yall are 13-0 Big Whoop! Yall think you are strong and physical, yall have not seen anything yet. Hampton I really hope you do not think that you are going to walk right in here and run the ball because that is SP strength. You might have your one big offensive line star but I have seen those types of players and I guarantee you he will be worn out by the second quarter!!Tyner, Trousdale County, and Gordonsville would have all beat Hampton if they would have played! Heck, the boys from Jasper might even have given yall a tough game! Hampton reminds me of a knock off of a more talented version of Copper Basin!! And please stop making the comparisons to the '01 semifinal at Cloudland. That S. Pitt team went into the playoffs with a 6-4 record and got waxed by Boyd in the regular season. They were barely the second best team in their region and got as far as they did with smoke and mirrors. This year's team is up to the standards of a typical Pirates state contender and you'll have a long ride back home to discuss that very point after at least a 3-TD loss. And yes, it will be that bad. If you want to call me out on that prediction, then please ...puh-leeez....at least have the guts to log back in here after the game and admit those of us who know its coming and called it were right.

man, if the players fight as hard as we do on here, the score may end up 2-2 with both teams having to forfeit for too many personal fouls. Cmon guys be nice on here or don't post at all. Either way, the better team should come out victorious. What most on here don't understand is these two teams have never faced each other so unless you are a player, you will not have even seen each team play (most likely) unless on film. So at this point in the playoffs, all scores, stats, and who beat who, should be thrown out the window. I would love to see a blow out, but I would rather see a nail-biter to the end! It makes things much better if you are on the winning side. Bad thing is, someone has to lose.

After they put the TC mercy rule in effect on your little dawgs Friday night, you'll be thinking a little differently of region 4. Mark my words!! Any 1 of those 3 teams in Region 4 would have waxed your Dawgs. Those big lineman you got are to slow to hang with these guys.

This is the 2nd post I've read about trashing region 4! Where in the post that your complaining about do you get this? I also beleive region 4 was not as strong as in past seasons. Does that mean i thik they stunk!! NO WAY!!! Just not their best year!!! Grow up!!

Trust me we hear this before every game .... Hampton first of all congrats on a 13-0 season. you have to have a heck of a team to get to 13-0.. BUT it end's here.. no way have you seen a team as strong and as fast as southpitt.. I know I know you have speed too... but 6 back;s with 4.6 speed or better? and you never know which will get the ball. so what do you do? double team robinson, Jones will run over you, double him and Mitchell will run around you no matter what you do to #24 robinson he will run around and over you.. our whole line bench's over 300lbs with one that Bench's 425.. we have had alot bigger team's say they would handle us.. I have not seen a team all year out man our defline or push them around nor our off line... our whole team will swarm to the ball like bee's on honey... I havnt seen one Fan on here after seeing spitt play this year leaving without saying WOW.... all i can say is what ive said before every game.. better strap the head gear up tight and loosing up ya neck's east and west cause you will be turning that way alot...this spitt team will hit you make no mistake about it... please dont come down here thinking we havnt faced a team as good as yours all year.... Region 4!!!! enough said!!!!!

How long have you been watching high school football? Nobody and I mean nobody is a 21 point favorite at this point in the season. You have 4 teams left and all 4 won their regions and played hard to get to this point. Don't even spout this crap on here, your only going to make a fool of yourself!!

One at a time and Midway is next. As we all know, there are no push overs at this point. If Hampton plays up to there potential, I really feel they can beat anyone in 1A. GO DOGS!!

PRIDE, CLASS, & CHARACTER. That's Oneida's moto but from what I've seen both programs conduct themselves in this manner. I'm not sure what Hampton's "official" moto is but I bet they have one & I'll bet it is something along the same lines or at least with the same general theme. I think WE ALL should think about what we post & the damage it could do to the kids that read these things. Not just the kids that are the target of the trash talking but also the embarassment it causes to the kids in the program a so called "fan" is trying to build up. We're supposed to be helping these kids do what they love to the best of their ability. I just don't see how putting someone else down helps achieve this. Let's all remember what this is REALLY About. The kids. Let's let them decide the outcome on the field & just be proud of BOTH teams regardless of outcome. I think it's as important for the fans as much as the players to remember PRIDE, CLASS, & CHARACTER. See y'all tomorrow night.

Stop right there!! Show me more than 1 person on this thread that's looking ahead and I'll chill, but you won't find them on this thread, maybe in your mind but not on this thread. This game will be fought on the field' not on here!! To think you, me or anyone else can predict with any degree of certainty the out come is just nuts. But, let me give you some facts. One, you lose your starting QB and you seem to think no big deal. Two, you are the visiting team. These 2 factors alone are worth at least 2 TDs. Take in the factor that all other things on both sides of the ball are equal. Well, you do the math Dog's by 16!! If all things work the way they should on paper that's that. But things never work out that way. Do I think the Injuns will be ready, I would shocked if they are not.
