The truth of the matter is you have to many coaches that plays kids that reminds them of there former self. For coach Tank its 5'8" and under fast guards, Ben is an exception because he lives with the coach, Same situation at East Hamilton is 6'5' or better is there thought of a great player, East Ham has on pretty good tall player the rest well there record tells you 4 and 10 or 11. You need inside presents 6'5 and up that can pound, Orlando Moore. You need at wing 6'3" plus, that can put the ball on the floor at least a few dribble, East Hamilton Kenny Bunton is great for wing 4, you need two guards 2 and 3 Jordan Long and Marquis Tipton that can handily the ball and shoot lights out or great to the rim with great vision and passing, You need a Point Guard that is a floor general that care more about the win, then the points he scores, understanding that assist is good has points Hal Allen, or Hamilton Heights P/G. If those boys was on the same team, with a decent coach, they would be Nationally Ranked. What Make me sick about the Owls they have all that on the bench, just not using them. East Ham has somewhat, Boyd is close has any A school will have, Central is close to that, Tyner is close, so coaches stop trying to develop talent that is a old you and lets put the right personal on the court. That my opinion.

Man you ain't kidding, Boyd has been my slapping stick all year boy they shut my month tonight., The Owls play terrible, selfish ball ,there p/g is not a floor general but a me me me. Coach Montgomery, is not doing a good job playing to many small guards, no inside present at all. He got out coach bad and Boyd just hit the free throws and the owls have no fundament to there game and that's on the coach. Congrats to Boyd you are the man of the hours.

T-Mac did Howard not take some there player to Riverdale. I thought it would have been a closer game, I thought Howard could pull of an upset.

Let me say Con Grate to Boyd you are the first team to make me it crow this year I thought Baylor was better , but you guys played like seniors tonight good job, You are doing better than I thought, I thought you would be like 9 and 3 or something like that at this time of the year, Tyner did play good didn't put Sydik in till the 2nd half, so messed up my point spread, Boyd beat Baylor by one, #20 for Baylor screwed his team out of this game, Baylor is not good at all but I thought they would beat Boyd, Owl pounded Ringgold by 40 like I thought. Boyd will loss tomorrow, Tyner is my pic to win the B.O.P. But the Owls will be there at the end.

BEST OF PREP" winners Boyd faces Baylor, Much has I won"t Boyd to win Baylor will beat them by 10 , in a low Scoring game something like 54 to 44, Ooltewah beats Ringgold easily 88 to 40, Tyner beats Mccallie 78 to 58, Notre Dame Beats Grace Baptist 54 to 42 on a side Note, I think Howard can beat Riverdale, if they have there core group back , Also think CSAS take care of Marion. I just feel boyd don't have the speed to play some of the teams outside of this regions, I believe they will fight hard and make a respectful run this year. The great thing about these kids are if you Challenge them they will step up to the Challenge , well I am Challenge ya to prove me wrong. I hope Boyd bring the gold ball back to Chattanooga, I just haven't seen it in them yet, even when I have seen them beat team,there just something they need to dig deep in there self and pull out, what many people doubt, But leave no doubt I will be ya biggets fan, for ya will be the first team to prove me wrong. Chattanooga "AAA" is Down this year, Single "A" is down and been down for 3 years,were is Temple, only strong "A" team in a while. Grace has lost all there talent, CSAS is losing there talent, I think CSAS need a coaching change has do Grace, just there coaches are getting to comfortable in there position and not being Challenged. Boyd is pretty good in "A" but will fall flat out of the Region, "AA" has 3 Strong team Tyner- 1" of course Senior Heavy. Brainerd- 2" pretty Senior heavy,Coach Brown walked into a Dream team that was built buy coach High. Chattanooga Central- 3" is Strong but has yet to have all the Starter in the line-up either from injury or other issue off the court. I believe all those teams will make some noise this year. Next year the team to beat will be the Same but the line -up will Change. Central will be 1, Tyner will be 2, and Brainard will be 3. In "AAA" East Hamilton will be Better but so will Ooletwah, Walker Valley and Cleveland. Hamilton Heights Will Dominate only Challenges in the city will be in "AA. Red Bank will Be Better but they need a PG that ain't all about me. East Ridge will Struggle But are well Coached. Boyd will be pretty Bad, they are losing way to many Starters. Silverdale is not focused on "BB" but other sports, but in "A" ball one great player can take you a long way. Berean is ok if they play weak teams like this year. Chattanooga Christian will be Better but by not much. Howard will be a 50% team next year 60 at best. Hixson will again bum, Coaching needs to step it up. Notre Dame will be better but still finish pretty weak. Mccallie will be about the same unless they pick up some players. Baylor will be about the same but are coached the old school way that will beat a lot of teams they should not beat. Signal Mountain will be ok. Lookout Valley will still be weak but better.

That is understandable, being they deserve much respect, there leadership there is has good has it gets in Hamilton County, Ya are going to be scary good next year and I also believe with the Headmaster Mr. Stone, and the new hires he has made he will continue to build that program, by learning from the mistake they have made in the past, and moving past those mistake, I understand that I don't care for his son Coaching ability, and have no faith in his ability, but if he continue to learn from his Father, he will be just fine, Good luck to the program for I see it is turning a corner and will grow and mold these young men and women. Hamilton Heights not that good, there ok playing weak teams like East hamilton 4-7 is pretty weak this year a 30% team at best , Bradley Central 6-6 is about a 40% team ya beat them only by 8, Walker Valley 7-5 is a 30% team ya beat them by 22, Sequoyah 4-7 is terrible ya beat them by 16, Lost to Covenant Ministries 8-5 a 65% team by 9 and barely beat Central Park out of Alabama which is very down only by 5. ya beat Karns 11-2 by 1 which is a 70 % team at best, and barely beat Gwinnett Barons by 3 which is a 50% team from Ga. so go play Tyner or Brainerd, then post this crap, and CPA will beat ya by 40 and never break a sweat. Better coach and better player all five of there starter are better than any of Hamilton Heights starters. Next year play Tyner , Brainerd and Central and see what happen 2 out of 3 of those team will beat ya.

I have to admit , I was just told that ya had some in Jail did not confirm, I doubt moose is out coach Harris to many time, maybe coach High. Moose is getting old and not able to relate to his player anymore or just don't care. Your problem has most people on this site is admiting certain things, Brandon has carried this team for 4 years when he was in foul trouble, early , ya lost. I know that JoJo is a good player, but not a D1 player, Sydik could play D1 player period ,and even if JoJo has rip Sydik several times a game, how many times has JoJo just throw the ball out of bounds on bad passes, Sydik is a lot more physical this year and keeps his attitude in check now, you will see this year. Has you can see I don't have a team that I love from year to year I tell people what I see, this year is no different, Howard want be good at least for the next, 3 years ,unless they get some transfers, I wish Howard the best, because one thing I like about Howard is toughness and moose does a good job making sure they are tough and back down from no-one. Thanks for the update about the boys not being in trouble, sounds like alot of teams are dealing with these kids issue instead of passing them along because they are ball players. alway good to hear from you T-Mac always can get the 411 on Howard from you.

Howard is not that bad, when they have everyone there, They are not that good in a AA setting or AAA setting in A they would be the best team in this area with everyone there and out of Jail from what I hear. Thats not a slang on Howard, just what was told by ya Principle. Howard has more talent in the Hallways than most of the talent on the court , just they don,t want to play for Moose.

Tyner take there first lost of the season tonight at Whitehaven out of Memphis by 22 , to much Basketball in a 3 day span to play at that high level you need to play at with teams from Memphis and Ark. Boyd take note I told you at the glass house those team from the west will be waiting. Good luck to Tyner and have a safe trip back from Memphis.

I haven't coach a day in my life,and thank you for the blessing, Boyd truly does play hard and have done well against the team they have played so far and have one of the better coaches in Chattanooga, But, yes but the truth is it a bunch of weak team they have played, and they do give a 100% most of the time, and done well this year hopefully this will light a fire under there butts to know they will face some tuff teams in the next couple of months,for that has of now there not ready for , with them bragging to me and my friends tell me they already think they have the gold ball , like East Hamilton did in football. I have seen them play 2 times this year and I can tell you there speed is the issue, but David did beat Goliath, And about teaching these young men, about being prepared for whats coming in march is a lesson they will have to carry the rest of there life, I hope there truly ready for that test. ok ,I am going to keep it real with you, only teams that should worry about ya are 1A , ya have done good so far this year but ya haven't played anyone, Ya schedule is 110 out of 115 teams in A in Strength in Schedule which is very weak, yes ya beat Mccallie without 4 of there 5 starter, they would kill ya now, Ya are to slow for most team around here including Howard Brainerd, Tyner, Central, Ooltewah, and East Ham. But ya will be in the Post season because of ya record but I can tell you, ya will get smashed at the glass house, I will be pulling for ya because ya are from Chattanooga, but I just don't see the hype. Some of the old 1A champions like Tennessee Temple will beat ya by 40, now thats a wake-up call. I am a fan of Boyd but the truth is Play someone strong than you can brag, all the coaches was there at your game because the Tyner ,Brainerd game sold out. only two game in the city. East Hamilton was horrible tonight 76 to 42 loss to Brainerd They Don't have a player I would sign after what I seen tonight , There Pg Mac did the Best but had no help, Kenny was not a factor at all, and Orlando put it on him, Tipton played Lazy and Relazed but could have put 40 on them, Brainard grds. just to good for East Ham. Again Coaching was Horriable trying to do this Dive play all night which was stupid. Lost last two games by over 70 pts. combine ,wow YOUR FIRED!!!!!!!!!! Should be a better match up for us next game the team is 1 and 8 but if they beat us just forfeit the rest of the years game ,I can't take the stress.

Long Tranfered from East Hamilton and Logan I don't know, he will help Central a lot they have a great group of players around him with a lot of good players around him, he is a play maker for sure.

Berean School in Chattanooga, Stop braggin on your boys Basketball team,there not good. that's were everyone goes who can't play high school ball anywhere else, I heard other players in the city tell kids who didn't make there high school JV or Freshman team to go to Berean and they would start, the next thing I know there on the team at Berean. Look at who you play , most Middle school team can beat ya, not the 8th grade middle school ,but the 6th grade could ,yes I said it. Notre Dame which hasn't won a game this year would beat ya by 40. ya have player that could have been good but don't want to put in the time and work so you can go to Berean or Chattanooga Patriot or Silverdale to start and thats ok, but don't be brag gin, cause ya not that good.

Man whats going on with (East Hamilton Boys) , they have great talent and still have a losing record, the girls I can understand, I been to almost every game but 2 and the boys should be winning 90 % of there game , I will give them the lost to Hamilton Heights because the coach don't care if he losses to them ,but out side of that, there are only one thing I could think of which have remain the same, is coaching. EH. Family ya are going have to push for the change, or he going have to step it up, his asst. coach Pug is even worse, and he think he can play and thinks he has handles, I've seen better handles on dolphins in the water. Famous words of Donald Trump, (YOU ARE FIRED). Every other sport we do great in with our talents, Our middle school does great winning 95% of there game with a coach at will tell you he is not a Basketball coach,but still wins because of the talent .This is disappointing. To much talent to be losing. Kenny D1 Talent mid Major , Tracy low major talent but up and coming, Tank the same, Tyler maybe not collage prospect but can get the job done. Mac, D1 Mid major that could be even High major with right coaching and a few more inches in height. And a pretty good beach with some very valuable minutes in most games, Owls does more with less talent and that should fire us up. Good luck to my boy at East Ham.
