  2. Yeah I was going to come up there....But i got there a minute into the game (Waverly traffic) /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />...And I left early...I have a wierd job where I still have to work on thursday nights....Another hint on my job....Due to current conditions I have lost people alot of money lately....But not during our day...During our nights...Honestly none of you probably know me...I know a few people from waverly, SC, and HC...but just a few..

If u know a few from SC then...well basically u know our whole population...lol

  3. It's done as a way to get pumped up for the game and I've seen every team we've played this year do something almost exactly like it especially Waverly(qoute)

against waverly they got on the goal line arm and arm and walked to the fifty and looked at waverly, then turned around and walked back to the goal line. that was okay, but when they got to the goal line they started back by chanting "what are we going to do tonight? dominate (repeat) (repeat)". talked to a waverly player after the game and they said when it started they thought it was funny, but when they heard them say they were going to dominate it made them angry. you could tell, because the domination started with 20 points in the first 6 minutes by waverly. now that was domination. good luck to you rebels, but i think if you pull those antics gp wil win by 30.

Come to every SC game...it has nothing to do with who we play. We have been doin the same thing for 3 years and the chant is our chant...every game we do it. And we run up to the fifty and and then back around as a part of our warm -up...every team has a warm-up...this is ours. Quit hatin!!!

  4. The more I think about it, I'm not sure about that. At first I thought that was right, but.... I think it would be a given that SC would be second if Waverly loses but I don't think you can revisit head to head. Let me explain. First is head to head. Waverly beat SC, SC beat Huntingdon, Huntingdon beat Waverly, go to overall records then, Stewart county would have the better overall so they would get second, Huntingdon and Waverly would have identical records, but I don't think you go back to head to head because if you do, you have to take into account SC beat Huntingdon and lost to Waverly. So I'm not really sure how it would be. It would be simpler if Waverly would beat Camden or Adamsville would beat Huntingdon.

SC beat H'town but lost to wavo, but h'town beat wavo so in case would still go back to overall record. but if a ville beats hutingdon and camden beats wavo then wavo still gets second because of head to head against SC and a'ville would get the wildcard i think if he get a wildvard for our region this year and region 8 doesnt get it

  5. Also, if Adamsville beats Huntingdon, Huntingdon is out and Waverly is in top 3 for sure in their region. If Waverly beats Camden, Waverly would be first, Camden second, Stewart County third. If Waverly loses, Camden first, SC second, Waverly third.

I think even if Camden beats yall, yall would be second with the head to head tiebreaker over us...we would both be at 4-2 in the region...I believe

  6. this is no waverly tiger. we have respect for camden. probably a sc rebel if i were guessing.

There is no one from SC posting on this thread but me and everyone that posts about Region 7-2A knows my screen name, SC might get on here and read the posts but other than that we for the most part stay off of topics not about us besides me because i follow the whole region and somewhat know what im talking bout...So quit blaming it on SC this and SC that...

Camden by as much as they want!

  7. Who says that Waverly is head and tails above SC? Aren't you the one telling everyone that listens how you were the better team when it came to Huntingdon but the Tigers played their worst game against them and that's why they lost? Well what if SC played their worst game against you guys and they are really head and tails above the tigers? Or does that logic only run one way in Humphreys Co. ?

From what I saw last night, SC is a mostly fundamentally sound football team with some very good ideas on offense. From what I saw out of Huntingdon they are not a fundamentally sound team yet...if Waverly is as good as advertised there is no way they let the Mustangs sneak up on them. Like rcombs basically said, the middle is muddled and there is not a dime's worth of difference between all three teams.

Will it be a tough physical game? I sure hope so. Will Camden win convincingly? No doubt.

Good post...i hope we get Wavo in the play-offs. So we can see who is above who

    Wavo No chance

    Camden- 42

    Wavo-14

  8. I have a very hard time believing SC can score above 20 on the Lion D especially in the mud when SC has not really gotten their running game going all season. Now I do see Camden's power running game being able to grind out a few touchdowns though /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

But with all the rain and slop it wouldn't surprise me to see a lower scoring game for this one. Regardless it should be a good'un!

Yeah i made that predictions forgetting the rain was comin then i realized that prolly nuthing but a bunch of running in this one...

    SC 17

    Camden 14

Still late second field goal makes the difference

  9. another scenario for you is that sc beats camden and waverly wins out (purely hypothetical), then waverly would be region champ, sc second and camden third. i don't see that happening though, because it is going to be tough for sc/wavo either to beat the lions. it can be done though.

If Sc beats the lions and the lions beat Wavo then SC would be first becuase of a three way tie and SC has the better overall record...The three teams battling for first hold there own destiny

  10. This is not meant to be negative on either team. It doesn't matter what happens the remainder of the season Stewart County has gained respect. They have taken the next step in building a program. It started in 2006 when they were 3-7 but competitive . Last year they kept it going with a 7-4 season and now 8-1. I don't know Coach Holliday, I do know that he's done great things at SC and they are turning the corner. SC should be looking at Camden as a model. They have the same kid of kids and simular communities. A few years ago Camden was everybodys homecoming until a man named Ward showed up (who I think is one of the best coaches around). I don't believe that SC will beat Camden, but the fact that they are being taken seriouly is huge. My thinking is that Camden won't overlook SC and they won't be out coached. Which makes me think that they will win a close game. Good luck to both teams!

Good post...to be taken seriously is a big step in SC progress...Go Rebs..

    SC 38

    Camden 35

Last second field goal makes the difference

  11. you put my character in to play when not even knowing me....thats relevant.....And you say this because I pose the question about Miles Holliday's character because of throwing a TD pass with his starting qb with 7 minutes to go in a 35-0 game...

Quote by long-time SC fan......"I dontknow why he still has earhart in......guess he is being himself(cocky) and trying to run up the score"

it was the first possession after over time...and that score put the game outta reach big time...and Earhart came out with 7 min to go in the 3rd...and that dropped TD pass we threw for in the 4th quarter was our back up QB and it was dropped so it aint like it mattered...and Houston Co is on Defense to stop us...they cant stop us...not our fault.

  12. I played last year and we didnt walk through any props or recession...actually we was standing beside the Homecoming Court getting ready to meet in the middle for Captains...and the rest were still in the locker room. Last year yal came out and stuck it to us and we couldnt respond..good job by yal. First kick went 90 yards back the other way to make it 7-0 like 11 seconds into the game and we was shocked. I think this will be close, lot of hard hitting and big plays. Just hope my boys come through..

    GO REBS

  13. stats dont lie and neither does the strength of schedule...when a team plays a cupcake schedule they should be racking up the stats...that doesnt mean he's the best, your qb did nothing against waverly, and definently wont do anything against camden....teams that have defenses...and wait til playoffs, the sc qb wont be getting near the stats he had against the 1a schools...playoffs is when we will see who has the best players...

He may of not done anything against yall but Camden aint been played yet...but A'Ville(2A) had a good game and threw 2 TD's, Richland(2A) had a better game and threw 3 TD's and Huntingdon(2A) had a great game,208 total yards of offense and 1TD from 52 yards out...i know Richland aint in our region but im sure the other region coaches got word of his performance...but i dont see how he is not the best...i mean he has off games that are far and few between but everyone does...

  14. Earhart totaled 208 total yards against Huntingdon last week and 1 score on the ground from 52 out...He was the best last year to all for Spencer Berry from Camden...

No stats don't lie, but Hale was out 3 games due to sickness (mono) and if you check the competition, Waverly has a much harder schedule than SC. So does Camden. I checked Waverly's strength of schedule was the 4th hardest in AA and SC was 55 out of 58.

He we go with the injured thing again...let me guess if he would not have been injured for 3 games he would of thrown for 3000 yards or something...right??

  15. Only play three years, or are you a senior this year? If so what #?I believe that "downtown dover" I love that term by the way...Is actually the courthouse parking lot...But anyways I can get sonic and Mc anywhere...Is the little burger place next to west side still opened?

No i graduated last year...I was #55...i played my freshman year at West Carroll in West Tenn...and yes the Dip is still kickin

  16. Well, I haven't seen the Camden quarterback, but I've seen Earhart and he didn't look as good this year as he did last. Adamsville has a decent qb, Waverly's qb Hale is just as good as Earhart and only a sophomore. Don't recall a lot of people who really stood out tremendously. There are a lot of above average players for a lot of teams. And there again I haven't seen Camden or Huntingdon.

Stats don't lie...between rushing and passing yards no one in the region matchs Earhart...but we will see at the banquet...

  17. I believe this game will be a bit closer than expected...It wasn't too long ago that the Rebels were the Irish's cupcake game (which I believe that you 155 was part of)... All this talk...but the past 5 years the record has HC3 SC2...the last ten years.... HC 8 SC 2....The past 15(I believe) HC11 SC4.... Being a football fan I seem to never be able to miss this game...If this game does get out of control, I would see it as very unprofessional of Coach Miles and his staff running it up... I remember just a few years ago that HC coach (which I am pretty sure that there was a change this year) taking out starters at half-time, when games could of been 70-0 easily...I am pretty sure one was 34-0 at the half(pretty sure this was Miles' first year), in which the HC coach showed some class in the rivalry and never played a starter in the second half..

Wil; be there friday...anywhere good to eat in Dover?

i am 2 and 1 against HC...But Lance's Pizza is right beside the stadium and the Dover Grille as mentioned before is the best in Dover...Right in the middle of town and of course we got Mickey D's and Sonic in down town Dover
