  1. I want to say great job Lady Owls.. I got to know a few of you through camp, tournaments, and hotel bonding time! I am glad our two teams got close this season and we realized all of you girls are so classy! I loved to watch you play and know that you deserved to win not only from your play but also because of what great sportsmanship which stood out in those last few games! I really believe the officating of that final match was crucial and could have been the key to the match forcing a tie 13-13 instead of 14-12! I guess everything happens for a reason but you girls should know that everyones proud of you despite the outcome! GREAT JOB LADY OWLS you are #1 !!!!!

  2. South is not 5th or 6th they finished 3rd. Would not be a major upset if they come out of the confrence. Science Hill is not looking that swift in the past few games. Central went 5 with science hill last week. South has went five with DB real early in the year. Science Hill beat DB. I would say DB and Science Hill are favored, but no earth shattering upset if one of them gets beat. UT winning out the rest of the year in football would be a major upset. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Well last time I checked it was DB, Science Hill, TN High, then South...so maybe there 4th but I haven't kept up with the TN High matches to well so I don't know if that is exact.. I guess we will save the words now and just see when it comes down to districts next week how it turns out sense talk is cheap.. Science Hill has struggled this week a little but I wouldnt count them out and DB has 3 starters hurt but they should all be ready to play midweek of districts I read on Tri-Cities Sports..I guess time will tell how the season will turn out for both teams!

  3. Sorry to say.. but South isn't at all good this year they are ranked like 5th or 6th in Conference play... They dominatd last year due to having 6 seniors including their great setter whitney cogburn..but they all graduated and are young with only a few seniors like 2 or so...so I don't believe they will be coming out of the eastern region this year it would be a major upset to that whole conference if they did

  4. Well, in my oppion the rankings you have should be rearranged to this order...

    1. Brentwood

    2. Dobyns Bennett

    3. Ootlewah

    4. Father Ryan

    5. Anderson County

    6. Faragut

    7. Morristown East

    8. Independence

    9. Franklin

    10. Science Hill

    11. Cookeville

    12. Knox Catholic

    13. East Ridge

    14. Soddy Daisy

    15.German town

My reasoning on this list is by play alone. Dobyns Bennett has been beaten by Brentwood @ Team camp and haven't faced them sense this July. DB beat Ootlewah in quater finals of the Chattanooga Choo Choo Tournament along with beating Father Ryan in the finals. Also, Morristown East, Cookeville, East Ridge, Soddy Daisy they have all been beaten by DB this season too. Dobyns Bennet has a record of 32-4. Thats just my oppion based on the tournaments and such so I don't believe the teams from the East side of Tennessee including Science Hill should not be overlooked or underestimated.

  5. Well, give us some pointers for DB on Tuesday night.

    Will DB make state?

    Ken

Yes, DB will def. be at state this year and prob. will be a contender for atleast the final 4! They won the Chattanooga Tournament fairy easily beating Father Ryan in the last match by a good margin! Goodluck in conference play with them but I do not believe that anyone in their conference even comes close to the talent that they have this season!
