  1. Not that Alcoa needs help but I'm sure there watching the Polk tapes how to defend CAK passing attack.Plus the different looks that was shown to CAK and CAK's depleted WR core it could be a Blowout...Just my thoughts on this one...

    Alcoa 42

    CAK 14

F5 calls the F5's off and will be using the F4's and F3's in 3rd and 4th!!!!!!!!

  2. I think Basin can do the one thing they haven't done in a loooonnnnggg time, and that is advance further in the playoffs then their cross town rivals Polk Co.

    Copper Basin 21

    Coalfield 14

Hey EAGLE FART::: Here you go posting on Copper Basin sight talkin about Polk..Everyone here let me fill you in on Ole Eagle Fart... He wasn't good enough to play at Polk. When the hitting started he was always faking he was hurt, then When fall come about he went on Vacations..But then he quit, but know he is a NO it all about football....Copper Basin wouldn't even let you play on there team. So folks there is your Short take on OLE EAGLE FART...A quitter on the football field and now a NO it all on Coach T.....

  3. Rooster..... You are WRONG on the POLK/basin game. They both had the same week open this year.Polk's coach CALLED basin's coach and Basin coach told Polk's coach HE DID NOT WANT TO PLAY POLK. You all making excuses on here, This is 100% the truth. You want to keep playin nobody's to get the 8 or 9 win season and a False ranking so be it, but If Basin coach will own up to it, he will tell you.1 more thing Basin did quit on a home and home contract. They played 1 time basin got drilled and opted out the next season of the contract...THESE ARE THE FACTS SO KEEP PLAYIN YOUR POWDER PUFF SCHEDULE. Don't post what you dont no.......... :roflol::thumb:

  4. ok apparently there is this idea going around that Copper Basin has just went searching for the weakest teams in the surrounding tristate area this year so they could have a winning season and weak schedule and that they opted for a 9 game season on purpose. Is this true? Well lets take a look at the teams they played one by one.

1st game-"Whitwell"-nothing new here they have been playing them for years and they used to be in their same district, usually a close game

2nd game-"Taft"-ok well people might have a point here. this is really the only true weak filler game that was put into the schudjule last year.they used to play them in the past too as well

3rd game-"Haysville"-heres one of the north carolina teams.Once again they have been playing them for atleast the past 5 years even when they killed basin by well over 40 points 4 years ago.nothing new here.

4th game-"Towns County"-another out of state team. same story as hayesville.Local team the basin played in the past who could fill the open spot in Basins schedule.they beat basin by over 40 points the first year they played

5th game-"Silverdale" 2a school in basins district pretty much a have to play game

6th game-"Andrews"- Basin has been playing this north carolina team atleast SINCE THE 1980's.Its a local rival game that has been played for decades.nothing new for this year

7th game-"Grace"-same story as silverdale.another 2a school in basins District

8th game-"Lookout valley"-another team that Basins played for many many decades.also usedd to be in there district

9th game-"Boyd Buchanen"-only loss in Basins schedule and first 4 quarter fight of the season.

Basins defense also played 95 percent of the game on their own 45 or closer.

NOW LETS TALK ABOUT THAT OPEN SLOT

Copper Basin did not have for a 9 game season by choice but rather by circumstance

Basin was planning to play formal big time rival Fannin County but they dropped out at the last minute leaving Basin trying to find a team to play at the last minute not able to find a team.It was not a chjoice

Also people believe that Basin backed out of a supposed polk county game this year???maybe in the past but nothing like that has hapened this year..I repeat,NO POLK and BASIN game was proposed for the 2010 season.I still can't believe people can't get past this.Basin is a 1a school that has no business playing a 3a school like polk.It was way too much trouble anyway, and tore the county apart.

Copper Basin has came along way in the past 4 years.and i am extremely pround of the group of seniors that stuck it out over the past 4 yers.even when they went 0-10 and 3-7 with basically the same schedule. It took alot of heart for them to do that, and i believe many people wouldn't have.

Now im not saying they are Polk County or south pittsburgh but they are not overrated like everyone says they are.they played the schedule that has been laid before them for the past many years.

Maybe they will get more of the respct they deserve after there big win against harriman tonight who was a much tougher team then many of basins previous opponents.Congratulations Copper Basin and goodluck.

  5. Polk didn't get cocky or take Loudon lightly, we just ran into a team that was bigger and more physical on the both sides of the ball. Our kids played hard but our O line and D line couldn't match up, #55 was in our backfield all night as well as a few others. Ok, let the bashing begin, I made the same comments last year after the loss and some of you took it personal. I'm not bashing the lineman but sometimes you run into teams that are better and physically you just can't match up with. Hope everyone is healthy after this game against Meigs and ready for the first round game.

6+4+3=2 Sounds like you was at the game... :roflol:

  6. Those are great players especially the signal mountain boys. But i do think Jared Allen, polk countys qb, is on the same level as any player in the state of tennessee. Yes, his passing numbers are not going to look good because of polks offense and the lack of talent for polk but this kid could be a star in a spread type offense that has some play makers to throw to.

Ok AquaWater let me quinch your thirst..There IS talent to catch the ball.#24..#22..#38 and #15. There is alot of Passin plays that is called during the game, but if they give #12 room to run for positive yards that is a GREAT THING and he is smart enough to get the first down and it keeps the other teams offense off the field.Polk is Averaging over 40 a game the offensive line is a team and take pride in 4 yards or 40 yards. Plus it lets the Defense rest and if you NOTICED they are playing lights out. This is a good team with great players all over the place and they are 20 and 2 in 2 years.I HOPE I JUST QUINCHED YOUR THRIST... :thumb:

ALCOA, TN - This is the sketch from a Police artist based upon an eye witness who says she saw this person, barracaded in the basement of a vacant warehouse on the back lot of the Aluminum Corp. of America late Sunday evening. Police were called to the scene when internet crime investigators were able to trace a computer security breach in the Human Resources Department at Alcoa back to the warehouse. Apparently the hacker was erasing all records associated with any individuals who had been hired within the past 30 years who also had a son associated with the AHS football program. Other undisclosed information lead the officers to a popular bridge in Alcoa. There were reports from an anonymous source that officers collected what appeared to be several Richy Creme doughnut boxes, a plastic foam box that looked to have some left over barbque ribs & wings, and 3 partially empty spray cans of paint. Anyone with more information should contact the Blount County Sheriff's Department or the TBI.

EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THIS POST IS SO TRUE....GLAD SOMEONE STEPPED UP AND SAID IT!!!!! ALL them Gold Trophies were bought by HR Aluminum...Alcoa should put them trophies in there breakroom. :thumb::thumb:

  8. Lol TrainTracks says go back to shuckin corn bozo!! 10 isn't even a SP fan and every SP player has been here since little league...You only make urself and ur town look more stupid with completely false accusations...Anyone that has seen SP's greatest knows this team isn't one of them but are still good and better than the score against Polk indicates...

Did WITTLE TRAIN get his feeling hurt.....I am leaving this site now maybe you and rhl can go sit on your porches and draw up a game plan, seems like you 2 know everything...Oh yea your right on the score it could have been worse if that Davis Coach would have left his starters in the 4th... :roflol::roflolk:

  9. Lol congrats on the win last night but, this wasn't one of the better South Pitt teams. Alcoa is a different animal.

When you get beat it is never one of your better teams is it.... Keep cryin it might help you in the playoffs...Only thing different in Alcoa is they recruit or I might SAY like SP they try and get the better players from there area... Which is fine Polk DOES NOT...They coach what they got and teach them to be tough and play above there talent and They will stand toe to toe with Alcoa and never quit and it will be a Great game you can bank on that..... :thumb::thumb:

  10. Alcoa is a different animal

Let it be known on Here. Polk wants to be in Quad 2 them boys are NOT afraid of ALCOA they want to play them...To be the best you got to play the best, and they want to Play the best trust me on this one... There Motto is if they Bleed they can be beat and the last I seen they bleed...........

  11. Here are some stats for the game Polk had 377 yards with 80 yards in penalties.. and SP had 203( MOST ON JV ) and 40 yards in penalties. Polk put there JV and Seniors that don't get to play.... Next year Dont talk about Polks Head Coach, them SLOW Country Boys take that Personal and SP just got a little of what they wanted to put on you. But Polk has a very CLASSY HEAD COACH that called off the BIG UGLIES... SO who ever it was that wrote about his Mustache.. First you shouldn't put down a Good man and Mentor to these young kids, next I hope you got a Speeding ticket, and Last but not least stay in South Pitt and Keep MILKIN YOUR BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!! GO POLK!!!!!!!!!!!!! :roflol::roflolk:

  12. That's your opinion and I could care less what you think. I'm sick and tired of hearing jealous parents in the stands complaining and griping about the play calling or because Allen scores a TD and not their son. Wonder what Coach Davis would think about that?

OK folks you parents are making something out of nothing, That team has one GOAL.(THEY ARE UNITED IN THAT LOCKER ROOM. Trust me I see it everyday.) Every player on that field has a assignment to do on the field and parents cant see that. You dont see if a play breaks down and what the Coaches have instructed the players to do...The Qb is not selfish, the Middle linebacker is not selfish watch them block and pat helmets and CONGRATULATE each other..... they are 22 great players on the field. Depending on what the other teams Offense/Defense is allowing them to do is what determines what play is being called..So everyone stay behind this team they got a Great chance to go Very Far...

  13. I am from Cleveland and Random Poster is right...Copper Basin is OVERRATED the schools they play hasn't won 5 games all year together, Polk would bring there JV up there and beat you all....CBHS>>> if your so sure CB can beat Polk they lose alot of starters this year from what I understand. Get someting going to get these 2 schools together, It would be good for the Gates and Bragging rights for the winner... As I look down the 2 schools schedule it dont even compare. Polk is Alot tougher playin bigger and tougher schools 200 kids more isn't that much compared to polk playin Bradley and WALKER VALLEY. I know COPPER BASIN PEOPLE will have all sort of excuses, but the bottom line Is it easy to get on here and say what would happen instead of lining up on the field and let the pads do the talking.......

  14. I have been waiting to repond to your post for 2 years about Amy Porter going to LSU and your long spill,How she want ever play and her parents paid the way. So Here it is. She played over 40 mins as a RED SHIRT FRESHMAN today and played very good, so she must be doing something right. Before you get on here and down a player and there parents for helping her fill her dreams. YOU need to look at YOURSELF first. Your not even a good DIV 3 coach, I know you can name a bunch of players you had but for everyone you had THEY ALL QUIT FOR BETTER COACHING. You never could build a team that stayed together because Parents seen you for who you really was.. These are my thoughts before you down any Player take a good long look at yourself first........

  15. I'm a Polk fan and I agree with APB. The one decent team they have played they lost to. Polk may end up with 8 or 9 wins but will lose as soon as they run into Alcoa, CAK, Loudon, or Tyner.

Any other teams you wanna throw in there????

They should have beaten Bradley and could have beaten MC and Sweetwater by 100 if they wanted but their brand of football isn't about glamour points.

  16. How much did you beat those "cellat dwellers" by last year? You won the game. But it wasnt by much.Yes Polk is a smaller div. but you have more kids on the side line than they do. Good luck to both teams

I been sitting here watching you post on Polk's site.. Let me fill you in on a few details 1st. You talk about Insanity....In the last 10 years Polk's Ole slow team has owned Meigs. You all have 1 win in 10 years against Polk..2nd They coach there Athletes to the strength of there players, and I might add it works. I promise you if they ever get kids with 4.4 speed they will coach them to there strenghts and do other things. Year in and year out Polk is near or at the top in the region you know so much about coaching you should go help Meigs win more than 5 or 6 games a year, and if Bradley County is always "cellar Dwellers" why dont Meigs play them.So when you post something make sure you know the facts before you run off at the mouth.Oh yea look back at all the teams Polk has played with DIV 1 players and WON the way you kill speed is stand them up and call roll.I hope you learned something from this post you can Go coach Meigs up....

  17. Ok, I went back through the records and Polk Leads the series 7 wins to 3 losses dating back to 1929. I left my Dates and Scores at work but when I get back, I will post them. SP has had alot of GREAT TEAMS but there were alot of years they didn't play..
