You must be one of the coaches who couldn't beat him.... Have you asked him? He would tell you the truth. And arrogant he is not. He is a little shy and doesn't say much sometimes. People mistake it for arrogance. He would be the first to give credit to his players and assistant coaches. You are only proving you don't know him. He gets the most out of his guys and he wins... People who can't do the same choose to dislike him. You could learn a lot from his method.

Well said and the truth! Always have to be some whiners! 

I think you will see coach Rankin retire soon. Coach Q will be around for a while and I think at some point will surpass Coach Rankin in wins and titles. Records are made to be broken. Just my thoughts on this subject, best wishes to both of these great coaches!

I really don't know the whole story but I do know that WB in it's 37 years of existence has a losing record mainly because you can only teach a dog so many tricks and between the interference of parents and players not willing to go the extra mile you get what you get. It was so hard to watch a film of the Oakland game and to see a friend of mines kid just take a beating.If Shad does come back I hope he won't allow any of the quitters back on the team if it means losing every game 100-0. I would teach those  people a lesson.

How sad! Proud of the kids who stuck it out! Can't even imagine!!

LOD more people need to study their American History. My family came here from Ireland and Scotland after leaving England. Course some went to Australia and some came here to Pennsylvania, as those folks you talked about. And we know why the other bunch went to Australia. Just glad to be an American!!!
