To all the players, coaches and fans of the Warriors, I would like to say ya'll have a heck of program and team with some real class players and coaches. You guys had a heck of a year and will be right back in the thick of things next year. You Seniors were a class bunch and have no reason to hang your heads. we wont know the winner of this one until the final whistle it should be a non stop battle all 60 minutes id like to see cookeville in this one but it really could go either way good luck to both teams

ooltewah has played well all year but i dont think they can come out on top with this one bearden easy win

Nothing that happened in the regular season matters now! Playoffs baby! its a whole new season everyone is o-o and anything can happen! No one can be overlooked by anyone and if any team thinks they can do that they will be watching from the side lines the rest of the playoffs! And will only be able to dream about next year!

that is a true statement and i wouldnt doubt that the coaches across the state are telling their kids that

i dont know how effective "the pit" is today but back when i played for riverdale "the pit" was somewhat of a factor with the fans surrounding the entire stadium and the echoing of the noise was awesome i liked to play there but friday night we will see how effective it is.....

riverdale wont overlook warren county they will keep doing what they have been doing taking each game one at a time another challenge because its the playoffs but warriors come out on top

MBA has the best o-line I have seen by far. Riverdale has the most over rated o-line by far. Hendersonville has the most under rated by far. I dont know who the O-line coach at HHS is but that line is not very big but they will absolutely get after you. Very quick. Very physical. Very well coached.

Have you seen Riverdales line???? and MBAs line aint to bad but you cant say riverdales is overrated unless youve seen them play but its hard to say who really is the best

Boykin is very valuable to his team. That is for sure. Congrats to him for getting Player of the Week. Sounds like he was very deserving of the honor. I bet he will be a great asset to any college program.

 

The thing that I like best about this Warrior team is that no one is dubbed as the superstar. They are a TEAM and it shows in the way that they win. Maybe not as much razzle dazzle as in yrs past, but they still get the job done.

you are definitely right about the Warriors not dubbing anyone as a superstar i dont think any of the riverdale teams ever were that way because we all contributed some how its a team effort the game has to be won on the legs of everyone not just on player

although there isnt much razzle dazzle this year that doesnt matter as long as they are winning the games

Congrats to Boykin for being named Jeff Fishers High School Player of the week. Look for him tonight on the Jeff Fisher show on channel 2. He had an awesome game friday against wilson central on both sides of the ball. Look for him to again be a big factor this week against Smyrna. This Riverdale team is on a roll and are starting to see the finish line and have never been so focused. do they have any place special or just tough it like the rest

usually when it rains they stick it outside unless it lightings then they go to the gym or they go to an inside field down the road dont remember the name of it
