Are these the "official" rankings for the state? I hear that there is something else on Eurosport or something. If so can someone send a link. Not that rankings mean a lot this time of the year when the games are being played.

Eurosport has the score as a 3-3 tie. Does anyone have details of the game?
Two pretty good teams, a tale of two halves. Pretty clean, tough fought game and a joy to watch. Both teams should be proud.

It looks like with all the corrections in positions, and the fact that one girl I know in particular plays several positions, maybe we need a Category called Utility player. Just a thought, it seems players who can play multiple positions don't get noticed as much because they are moved around on the field to where a Coach or Team needs them.
I agree. There is a girl in Farragut named Alyssa Dresen that plays about every position but goal, has tremendous speed, is the best athlete on the field at most times and she touches the ball more than any player out there. She was all region and all district last year at mid I believe but again last year she played multiple positions. She normally plays outside mid and moves inside most games to spell others. She is a junior. There is another girl on Farragut named Ashley Reveiz that is going to be a tremendous forward and probably is as good as some of the players listed. She is a freshman.
Bearden vs Farragut - District Final

Good game, lots of back and forth. Two goals scored in 70 seconds midway in the first half. Farragut controlled the first 15 pretty solid but couldn't get the back of the net. Bearden scored the two and then it was back and forth the rest of the way. Physical, not dirty, hard fought game. I believe if they make the region finals it will be a classic game because honestly the teams looked well matched and pretty close. A Bearden girl was hurt late and I haven't heard a report.
