you wouldn't be the same person who posts as "titansup57" on the Tennessean are you? the same one who left a comment there saying that you were "glad this piece of crap landed somewhere?"
atleast i hope not.
i hate that some people have zero class or respect for others. how horrible it must be to live their lives.
Heck no, that ain't me. I don't think he is a piece of crap, I wanted him to go to my beloved Vols for crying out loud! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Im not sure the LCA double wing will win many fans anywhere. Maybe spend less time coach bashing and more time coaching and you wouldnt be looking so hard for a job.
BURN!
-
A lot of people seemed to predict the Warriors going down hard at the beginning of last season, and I just seemed to not believe it could happen. I would like to think that Riverdale will be back into the running sometime soon.
-
I agree, it's way tougher on the offense than the D in All Star games. I certainly would have liked to see Yazzie get at least a few reps at WR though. He's a better WR than DB is what most people don't seem to realize. Oh well, I was just happy to see him do well.
It was a shame that I didn't seem to recognize many other players in the game though. Does anyone know the names of some of the players from 6 5A that I might have missed?
-
This doesn't have much to do with anything, but I just wanted my 1,000th post to consist of this:
GO COMMANDOS!!!
-
The real key to this game should have been to put Nick Yazzie in on offense and just launch it to him every play.
-
I would also just love to say that I loved how Mr. Yazzie didn't put any other team's logos on the sacred Hendersonville helmet. What a monster.
-
Hey Hvillefootball, ya'll get your out of district teams set yet? I haven't heard what week Gallatin plays the Commandos but I hope it is kinda late in the year but not week 10. Too much emotion before the playoffs.
I haven't been able to find who any of our out of district games are yet unfortunately. The only teams I could think of that the coaches would want to keep would be Dickson County and maybe Hunters Lane, just due to the fact that they have become sort of rivalry games....but I really have no idea. I agree on the Hville-Gallatin game though, that game would just be too taxing physically and emotionally heading into the playoffs for both teams. I would like to see them play in maybe week 7 or 8 personally.
-
Congrats to everyone on the 6-5A All Region Team!
There's a whole lot of talent in this region, and it takes a lot to make a team like this. Congrats again.
-
I would go with the motivator personally. I've seen a whole lot of football games won with just pitiful gameplans, but they were won because the players were fired up and playing at 110%.
-
Apparently you don??™t know, if a school wants somebody bad enough they will find ways to get them. FIY the quarterback club was going to up the ante it??™s not every day you can get a Perry to come lead your program. But doesn??™t matter I'm sure Trey is leaning towards Portland they have more athletes and they play in a softer district. He can easily win 7 games. With Beech, Hendersonville, Wilson Central, Gallatin, Lebanon, and Station Camp all being down next year, it will be a great year to surprise a lot of teams. Portland: Ridge Top champs in 09'
Hendersonville and Gallatin certainly won't be down next year, they'll finish first and second...sorry. Portland is going to find it hard to muster a single district win I believe. They have absolutely no chance of winning 7 games like I saw on here somewhere! /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

Mr. Nick Yazzie.....enough said.
-
With Hendersonville and Gallatin out the picture, Antioch and Hunters Lane should be favorite for District 12 in 2009.
Most definitely, nobody else in that region will be at all competitive.
I would have to pick Brentwood and Franklin to take the guaranteed 6A spots, and Hillsboro to take the 5A spot. But the way this region is stacked, I wouldn't be surprised with any playoff combination in all honesty.
-
Good Grief! There isn't one guaranteed win on that schedule. I have a proposal: The first football team from District 11-AAA to go undefeated and win the State Championship should receive two gold balls. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
Anticoh should be a guaranteed win for Ravenwood.
-
I know you said to reply if you agree, but come on. High school kids can't play that many games. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
-
Not nearly big enough! All Rutherford County fields are for 5,000 seated tops. Plus NONE of them have adaquate parking.
I agree, just said I like the field is all!
-
Got me kind of excited by saying that Perry may be coaching Portland.....shame on you! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Congrats to all the players who made this team!
And I agree with Lost Old Dad, I'd love to see the all-region teams suit up and play for region supremacy!
-
What classification is Alcoa going to be next season? Maryville is going up to 6A next season aren't they?
-
I'd like to see it back at Vandy. Nashville is the state capital, they have a turf surface, and the stadium has held it before. Why did they ever leave Vandy anyway? Are there any large high school stadiums in the Boro/Nashville area that could hold the crowds but make the atmosphere better than at MTSU or Vandy?
I always like Riverdale's field.....don't know if it is quite big enough though.
-
Really? I didn't see the Oakland vs. MUS game scheduled anywhere. Must have missed that. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
Best teams....within their respective divisions. Can't have EVERYONE playing each other! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Congrats to the Patriots. #1 in state, y'all earned it all season long!
-
Cookeville is not Murfreesboro in terms of the city alone though. It seems like this only tacks on more miles for those poor Memphis folks to drive as well! And all that driving just to get to........Cookeville. /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
All-State Selection

Very surprised to see that Terrance Davis made this list. Congrats to him for making it, but I would have to believe there were better QBs in the state.
