    It would be more fun than what we've got.

     

     

    I hardly see how it would be more fun to have the possibility of a ton of undefeated teams, and have some random group of people decide who is the best. I think we should let the best teams in the state play each other personally......oh wait, that's what we've got now, it's called a playoff. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

    I'd be ok with the pre-1969 system. 10 games, and a bowl. Whoever is deemed best is the state champions. 1 state champion would be fine with me.

     

     

    That's not a good way at all. Do you really want to listen to a bunch of teams to gripe that they deserve to be state champions? Settle it on the field....just use fewer classifications. Not real hard.

    Listen to this one bit of info...

     

    The very first play, a hillsboro play went for the legs of Chris Jordan, who many know is one of the stars of our football team,

     

    We had i believe 4-5 injured in this game, Hillsboro had none! Tell me you see something wrong with this,

     

    Hillsboro plays dirty!

     

    Ya of course im a rebel fan,

     

    I would still choose to cheer for Maryville, just bc of our tradition, i would take our 11+ gold balls, over yall 2 anyday!!!

     

    Oh and whoever paid the refs, and the play clock keeper, i will find you! Much Love!!!

     

    Hillsboro, from what i have seen from the fans walking outside of the stadium has no class, there were to half naked fat girls outside, that literally got in our face and said that we stunk and didn't even deserve to be there,

     

    Maryville has had two losses since "01, Hillsboro had 2 this season alone!!!

     

    Congrats to hillsboro on the dirty play!!! We Will See you There Next year!!! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

     

     

    One of the few bitter posts I've seen from the Rebel fans after this game. That speaks volumes of your fanbase.

    and ole Bruce Hatfield winning 5 5A coach of the year

     

    Good job to all these Commandos, as you proved even in the offseason, you're the most dominant team in the Region!

  20. How can Inner-City Schools develop kicking games?

    Most of the teams with a strong kicking game get them directly from the soccer team. If soccer doesn't exist at these schools, it can still be coached. Most coaches would rather coach the other basics of the game rather that teach a player how to kick from scratch, no matter how much it might benefit them. I must say, I've never heard of a team not being able to kick an extra point since middle school. We have played the Metro Nashville teams for a while, and they can kick extra points at least, so I don't think this is really a statewide inner city problem.
