  1. Ok Kinghtman, this topic was made to get oppinions out of people no need to get all mad trust me. Ok yes I agree that the coaching staff sometimes is out coached in games and coach Hatfield is a great coach and a great man and yes he does not sometimes use the talent that he has because of what grade their in their are plenty other teamates on that team that the coaching staff does not use that are just as good or better like for example the roper kid is very good but last time I looked the senior running back is only averaging like 2 to 3 yards a carry and also C.J Gambino is good and that Armstrong kid and on defense the roper kid needs to step it up and they also have good Defensive ends chason wall and andrew hieht and good defensive backs like Troy watson and Nick Yazzie and James Head who are not on the field the whole time because of so called "Seniority" but during their game this week againt hunterlane you better put your best out their or you will lose and get embarrised and its more important to win with juniors and let the seniors play some but in my oppnion I always want the best player to play and for the other guy who has a problem with the people not showing up on time how about you dicipline them by running after practice or doing more reps or making them get on scout team which ive seen some of the good kids but not by punishing them on the field, not letting the best player play so with that being said this team has allot of talent that they do not use as much to be seen and its not all Cach Htas fault theyr are several other coaches on that team that are out coached or coaches who do nothing but sit around all practice or just stand theyr Ive been to some practices and Coach Hat is always pushing the kids and teaching. Some of the other coaches need to step up!

Are you sure you've been to an Hville practice? From what I've seen, all the coaches do a great job of coaching and all work to push the kids to be their best. The thing is, no matter how good of a coach you are, you can't win if the players don't play hard. Last week Hville lost because of the effort of the team, not the coaching. Also, I would like to see any coach in the state do what Coach Hatfield does with the talent on the team each year, I don't think any of them could.

  2. The Tennessean said that Boo Butler dislocated his shoulder. With that in mind, I doubt he plays.

I think McGavock wins against Gallatin minus Boo.

    24-17

I don't think Gallatin is that much weaker without Butler, it was the other QB that did most of the damage to Hville.

  3. When Hville's fullback was knocked out cold at the goal line at the end of the first half he didn't get in but was ruled a touchdown does this refresh your memory

I was there and it was a touchdown man. Maybe McGavock shouldn't make a habit of hitting QBs late and giving them another chance to score. How's that sound?

  4. Why does everyone count McGavock out if everyone will look at the score of the HL McGavock game it was 7-6 and McGavock was without 2 of their key offensive players. Did HL have a bad night or is McGavock better than everyone gives them credit. Also McGavock only lost to HVille by 8 which the outcome might have been different if Hville hadn't been given a touchdown that they really didn't get. McGavock has been without their starting quarterback since week 4 so don't count them out anything can happen against Gallatin.

I don't think anyone on here is doubting McGavock, I actually think they have a good chance at beating Gallatin. And by the way, it was a touchdown, get over it.

  5. I've never seen them pass this much. It does lead to some more big plays but sometimes it can lead to some big mistakes. We need to go back to the old Hendersonville ways of just pounding the ball and and the occasional pass to catch the defense off guard. HHS needs to utilize the playmakers they have in the backfield more.

Hendersonville really does have a good passing game and I do think it can be a big weapon, but when you run the ball like we used to, it puts you in complete control of the game. Everybody knows that there are some special players in the Commando backfield (Roper, Watson, Gregory, Gambino for instance) so it's time to start really using them.

  6. I'll have to go with the Wildcats to win this one /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    That's a pretty bold prediction. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

  7. the hendersonville faithful want/need a home playoff game after a (almost) 4 year drought..Hunters Lane will be one of the best if not THE best team the commandos play all year...i believe this is too close to call. if hatfield and his crew run roper and gambino with 15-20 carries each, i think the commandos will be very hard to defeat.if not, well you saw what happened in gallatin.

I believe that HL is the best team they will play, this game has emerged as a pretty good rivalry so they should both bring it. By the way, I agree that Roper (and Gregory) needs the ball more. Hville needs to stop being so tricky with their offense and go back to just running it right at people. I don't think I've ever seen the Commandos pass the ball this much.

  8. ok, so i called up some friends that play for HL and they explained that this dude named teo that used to play for glencliff but now plays for HL is in his 5th year of highschool.. and glencliffs coach told coach cambell(HL's coach) that he had TO on his team 5 years ago(TO's freshman year) and had pictures to prove it... so coach cambell asked teo after the game how many years of highschool have u had, he said this was his 5th year... so they had an ineligible player, and they have to forfiet every game they have played so far.. and they're new record is now 0-9... this is the truth, so everyone can stop guessing ..

T.O is the kids name.. thats what we call him, his real name is antonio..

I understand that, but AirForceOne made it seem as though there is still a possibility that they wouldn't have to.

  9. Gallatin is the better team if they play like they did vs Hville. Gallatin better be ready to tackle #32, that kid was the whole reason McGavock stayed with Hville. I gotta believe that Gallatin will be ready, Coach Lassiter shouldn't have trouble motivating with homefield on the line.

    PREDICTION: Gallatin-24 McGavock-17
