  1. So its okay to say gordan will be going to a small time but when we questioned yazzie going to a D1 school and giggled when u said mizzou and U T were looking we are the guilty. You must be a democrat.

To say gordan will go to a small time school and ur kid to a ut or mizzu is comical.

Gordan as other poster pointed out ut louisville texas tech bama all on record chasing him, where on record is year boy

Look come national signing day come back and let's see where ur kid goes (I predict campbelsville or union ) ans where gordan goes since you already stated gordan to small school.

Class yeah we have it you just don't know what is is

I hear Ut intramural team looking for a wideout

I'm the one who said that I thought Gordon would go to a small D1 school, not stlbrd. And I said it because that's just what I assumed, I'm happy to hear that these huge programs are looking at him! Good luck to ALL players from Tennessee wherever you end up. There, I have successfully included every last guy and wished them the same amount of luck in their collegiate careers, surely I can't be knocked on for this. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  2. Figured he would, he has all the tools. Don't mind hendersonfootball post saying gordan to small D1 school. He is upset cause he thinks his boy yazzie is a can't miss D1 prospect abd says UT and mizzu have him on the rader(although rival, unapproved website, ten prep)don't even show any thing

Uhhhh, when did I say anything insulting to Gordon? I just said that I didn't think he was going to a big time program. If he is, that's fantastic and I certainly wish him nothing but the best. I love seeing Middle Tennessee prospects go and play at the D1 level.

  3. I have read a couple of posts referring to safety at playoffs games in Memphis. In the Mananssas/Mckenzie thread a fan from Milan stated this:

???I'll never forget my Senior year when Milan traveled to play Memphis Mitchell and after we lost, we (the band) had to be escorted out of the stadium by the police because of the Mitchell fans throwing beer bottles, trash, anything they could find at us. They threw this at our busses...it was a terrible experience. Another year when Melrose came and played at Milan. Their band played non-stop all 4 quarters, to the point our team couldn't hear on the field. They received something like 4 or 5 penatilites for the noise but never stopped playing. Their band was vulgar, making sexual movements on the field, cursing at our fans, and band. And it is these type of programs that give such negativity to the Memphis programs.???

I was the game administrator at every Mitchell playoff game since 1997 and I can tell you that did not happen. I always escorted the band and the team to their bus with extra security. I took great pride in ensuring a safe environment for the visiting team. As a matter of fact the principal from Milan sent me an email stating how well they were treated.

I also have been to Melrose and their Principal, Mr., McLain who was the AD then, and my self always discussed game safety. If any of our fans ever stepped out of line and I found out they would be banned for 1 year from attending any Mitchell games. I think Mitchell, Melrose, any Memphis school put safety first.

You should be able to tell why people don't feel Memphis is safe if you feel the need to arrange for extra security. When I played football, we never had the need for security of any kind. I don't know though, never actually played football in Memphis, so I guess I don't have any place talking on this actually. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  4. Congratulations to Franklin. You were the better team last night, no doubt. I have been reading these posts (as ridiculous as some are) and felt a need to respond to some.

HHS was still "in" the game late in the 3rd quarter when an unfortunate interception at the goal line took all of the air out of the Commandos. Score there and it would have been 28-14 with the momentum switching back to the home team. I'm not saying HHS would have won, but it might have made it a more interesting game.

I would like for the people on here saying that "Yazzie guaranteed a win" to prove it. If you are talking about the guy on youtube with a mullet........that is not Yazzie. To come on here and bash a kid that has had a very successful year is wrong. Just because his fans get on here and brag about him does not mean you should personally attack him. The guy played his heart out last night and his team got beat......leave it at that.

Thanks to the Commando seniors, I have really enjoyed watching you guys this year. Keep your heads held high, you had a GREAT year.

Good luck to Franklin the rest of the way......

    Amen!

Please don't think all FHS parents and fans support some of the nuts on here, most never played the game. Yazzie is a very good football player and should be proud of his year as well as the entire team, just was not their night.

THIS is what I expected Franklin fans to be like. Good luck to the Rebels in the rest of the playoffs.

  5. One parting word for you , hhs football and yazzie OVERATED

    You misspelled your "one word" retard. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Now I'm done, good luck to Franklin or Brentwood, whoever wins. Work hard in the offseason Hville and build on what you accomplished this season!

    HHS ALL HAIL!!

  6. Alright, I'm done with this thread. It's clear that nobody on here can actually talk about the game itself. It's just bash after bash about people talking about Nick Yazzie, so congrats Franklin posters, you win. Yazzie stinks, he is no Ford, how dare they even be mentioned in the same breath. I concede, Franklin is the king of high school football.

    Good luck and God bless.

  7. i think he only had 6 attempts according to the paper 4-7 for somewhere around 75 yards. ill take it in a game with weather that is anti pass. plus he didnt really need to pass at all although he did have a mistake(intentional grounding penalty). But stilhis throws were crisp and at the receivers for the most part. and even atleast one of those three incompletions was a drop. so id still say it was a pretty solid day with a lack of mistakes(no turnovers) and thats all you need with such a strong backfield.

True, but if you get pressure on him, as HHS did early, you can stop him. I think he missed his first 2 or 3 passes to RBs in the flats, which should be an automatic completion in my opinion. Then he had that blown coverage by Hendersonville that he exploited for a huge TD where most all of his yards came from. Not saying he's bad or anything, guess he did all he really HAD to do in this one.

  8. would have been the same stuff if the Bruins smashed the ball down your throat as well and you would have been on here saying "GO REBELS"

like ya said before that was a region 6-5 a supporter you dont have a team in this race so dont bother - WELL to you my friend this is an All Williamson county quarterfinal so its all ours yet again............

I thought you also said coach hat is a great coach, ya made fun of someone whom stated that your coach neeeds to watch the tape of how BHS beat FHS you replied he does not need to watch the tape HE knows how to beat them-- yeah he sure did lol ........... nothin like giving up 48 pts and close to 460 total yards - LOOKS LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE WATCH THAT TAPE......

Just wasn't our night I suppose. And no, I was completely rooting for the Rebels in this one, but you guys just don't seem worth it /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
