Good luck to the Bucs!

Sorry the week at a time we underdog ( you were not that last week ) and the franklin overlooki us will not go this week franklin will not o erlook ans if they do blink they hav e the advantage on all sides of tje ball and can get away with it . As much as I admire ur team and our debates I think your season ends friday
I am pretty sure you predict us to lose every single week. What team do you root for exactly, or are you just anti-Sumner County? Yeah, this is already getting pretty annoying seeing all this Brentwood-Franklin rematch nonsense. Hey Franklin, you still have to come to Hendersonville and win a football game, and to all the real Franklin fans out there ya'l know that is easier said than done.
-
Sounds like a Brentwood-Franklin rematch is inevitable from the way people are talking on here. Very interesting....
-
i agree with your statement about you winning week in and out, but although Murphy Fair and I called for RHS you did and should have beating RHS
they do run do differment types but franklin is a force da force if i was coach hat i would be pulling out the game tapes of the fhs - brentwood game........
Coach Hatfield knows how to beat Franklin, don't worry about that. Doesn't matter if you KNOW how, players have to work hard and EXECUTE on Friday night. Most importantly though......get the ball to Yazzie. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

no fhs is head above water the rhs on offense- one back 730 yds other back 1300 yds
qb out of world Qb rating 113 - 179 1901 yds 13td 2 int
smacked RHS 27-0
Wasn't that FHS-RHS game one that Ravenwood didn't play well? How can you compare our score vs Ravenwood, in which they played good, to that one in which they didn't?
Even if Franklin is a lot more talented, this will be a great game that either team can win. It's a classic playoff rivalry game that both teams want more than anything to win. Should be a fun one.

Maryville wins.

with respect and i will keep it to game talk ( not like last thread rhs- hhs ) i cant see HHS winning this game, yes your boys have been getting it done all season but this Franklin team is a machine ( this has nothing to do with region or anything like that)
I really think you would have had a better chance versus Brentwood - FHS tore apart Hunter lane, think H.L coach said they were the best team they faced all year.
I know we play these games on the field not the paper, but i gave you the common opponet of RHS and your HHS when they played Dickson Co - we both agreed pretty close stats..
look at the common opponets now with FHS and HHS
FHS- 27
Ravenwood-0
FHS- 31
HL- 0
FHS-42
Mcgacvock-6
FHS-42
Dickson Co--14
and a non common opponet but they wholloped Centenial 35-14 just 2 weeks ago
i will be surprised if they HHS keeps it close but to ur all credit you seem to get it done week after week, but FHS has two of the best backs in the state, beat a bigger mccallie and a hillsoboro team-
QB nichols 113 - 179 1956 yds 13 td - 2 int
Running back
Lee 108- 773 7.6 ave
Ford 158 -1327 8.3 ave 18 tds
needless to say it will be HHS on defense that will need to win the game for you-
good luck this week and sure the place will be rockin again.
Can't wait for the challenge. Hendersonville backs down from no team, no matter how talented they may be. Do ya'll in Region 6 consider Franklin to be a better team than Brentwood?
-
No need to talk trash about this game Hville. I know the Williamson County fans get a little annoying, but this was a game that we were supposed to win I believe. We got all we could handle and almost more from the Raptors and we'd better come out a lot more focused vs the Rebels.
That being said, great game Commandos. We're the lone Region 5 team left, let's see what we can do!
-
Great game to watch!
Ravenwood, ya'll deserve all the credit in the world. Fun to finally see you guys play, and you guys have got some talent for sure. Overall even throughout the whole game, but with a slight edge to Ravenwood I'd say. First punt by the Raptors taken about 80 yards to the house by Yazzie in one of the sickest returns I've ever seen. Hville couldn't get any sort of passing game going and couldn't stop Ravenwood's pass or run, but found a way to win anyway. Only got one pass completed that I can remember actually and it went for like 80 yards lol.
Man that stadium was buzzing. Can't wait to have the Rebels come on up to Paul Decker Field next week!
On a side note, Yazzie has got to be one of the best players in the state, period.
-
final 44-6 brentwood wins
Pretty much expected. Nonetheless, good job Bruins. Good luck with Centennial next week.
-
Hendersonville
NICK YAZZIE is the real deal on kick returns, punt returns, receiving and defense. He has got to be one of my favorite Commando players to watch in the last 10 years or so.
-
I'm pretty sure everyone on Coacht is hoping to not see the 201st victory until next year, right? /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
-
Hats off to the Cougars of Centennial.
-
Hendersonville plays hard and gets a repeat of two years ago.
HHS- 21
FHS- 17
-
Once again, good luck Commandos!
Play that hard nosed smashmouth football we've come to expect from you. You'll need everything you've got to beat the Raptors tonight.
-
I've seen both teams play. Granted Tullahoma was preseason and Beech was Week 1, but if they're anything like that now Beech will win easy.
-
Pretty simple, running teams get the edge over passing teams.
Fantastic title for this thread by the way. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Beech with the easy win.

I just have to ask....How cool are the NEW JERSEYS that H-ville is breaking out this week. Anybody seen them. I hear they are pretty cool. Hatfield has been sitting on them over a year and will debut them in the playoffs.
They're pretty dang legit. He got them I think 2 years ago and said they would only be worn in a home playoff game. Here it is, and I'm pumped to see them in action. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

just curious - haven't kept up, but why did Hendersonville have to forfeit games early in the year?
Wasn't really a forfeit, they "vacated" the games. Hville had a transfer that they thought was eligible and apparently wasn't get in for some scrap at the end of two blowout games vs Hillwood and Dickson County. As soon as Hendersonville realized that he wasn't eligible, they turned themselves in and were forced to vacate the wins.
-
Well since our region is the best in state some 6 or 7 consecutive state title games and u playin in a cupcake region says it all. What has gallatin won 2 state title( last one before you were born) in its history, ravenwood has 1 in 6 years
Anyways indy has braggin rights remember last year 42 -7 ouch nah nah nah nah
Go to study hall
I think Region 4 might have a little something to say about that "best region in the state" title over the last couple of years bro. And let's turn this thread back into Hendersonville vs Ravenwood. I don't know what your addiction to the Wave is, but take it to their thread!
-
Dang guys, it's his life, let him choose where he wants to play football. It isn't an insult to anyone to leave and go somewhere where you have a better opportunity. Would I like for him to stay? Of course, I want as many good players at UT as possible, but if he leaves, we'll just get another. No biggie.
