JC is going to have to crack down that rest of the season and pray that we don't lose anyone else. They only one so called easy game the rest of the season and I don't know how easy it will be. I am not sure on the Lundy kid. I heard it was a shoulder but that was just a rumor. I wasnt at the game Friday so didnt see it.

You can go up I81 to Damascus but it is the long way. The scenic route and the quick way is to go to Hampton and turn left on 321/67 and follow all the way to the stop light in Mountain City. Then go straight thru the light and the school is on the left. For Colonial Heights people the easy way is to go I26 (181) to the 'Lizzy (Kool Rebel Core) exit and go to 'Lizzy and at the stop light at Grindstaff right on Gap Creek Rd. Follow to the end and then Rt on 19E to a left in Hampton onto 321/67 toward Watauga Dam. Or you can go to 394 at the Blountville exit on I 81 and follow to Volunteer Pkwy. then right to a left on 19E to 'Lizzy and through the light toward Hampton (Longer). Got it? Hightway 67 goes by Watauga Lake and it is an utterly beautiful ride. Take a rifle and bring a deer back.

All you Rebel Fans going around the lake is the best way to come into Jo.Co. it's not the strightest road in the world so give yourself time if you don't like those kind of roads. Get out of Bush leauge J County... The quick defense of Elizabethton will be all you need. Your running backs go from sideline to sideline which can not happen against a quick(not Hampton defense) Your QB rolls to the one side recevier side everytime(almost) which that can't happen either when you have good OLB's. I don't know what has got into fans up there thinking you all are so good but come friday and then after you will be fighting to stay in the playoff reach.

Im not being smart with this question cause I really dont know but does the Longhorns have anybody to match the Cyclones speed on the team? The Toppers had (2) kids that were as fast but Ive seen know one as quick as the Itaro kid #25 hes at full speed in about two steps!

You must be on something after letting a 0-2 Hampton run all over you at home and you think you can stop Carr,Itaro,and Forbes so did Science Hill and if not for turnovers you know the Cyclones win last night! The only thing you said to be true is they better learn to hang on to the ball. With turnovers you can lose to anybody!

First of all Hampton was not 0-2 when they came to Johnson County, that game is most of the time a close game anyway, but who cares it over, that was two weeks ago the games ahead are what matter now. I not going to say that the Horns are going to win big I think it will be about like this past Friday 7 points will be the difference in the game. I agree PUJO but this is almost always a close game and a hard hitting game. I do expect JC to win this year but the Dogs are never going to lay down against us and vice versa. I expect a two touchdown game in the end but it will be close for three quarters. 28-14 final. We should be pretty tough this year and as always Hampton will be a good game to toughen up with. Last year, we need to win that conference.

It's still unknown if East and Central will play in this district because their numbers are right around the line.

 

I hope Elizabethton moves down to the 3A/4A district. They supposed tol compete against North, Johnson County, Happy Valley, Unicoi Co. and possibly Central and East.

I heard Eliz numbers were to high to drop down don't know if thats true or not. Thanks for the info.

With all the changes next year who will South and Tenn be playing next year and does anyone know if Eliz is going to move down or play up?

This year is a good example why the reclassification was necessary. With all due respect, it's obvious that non of these schools are truly in the league of THS and South, and that only hurts everybody involved. THS and South suffer in the playoffs as a result of weaker competition, and the other schools suffer from loosing athletes that are tired of getting beat down by the same schools year after year. I know some of you will look at this post as a cheap shot, but that's not my intentions.
