Y’all guys are putting the cart before the horse somewhat. In no way is Macon ready to start scheduling up. They have to get were they consistently beat the better teams they do have scheduled before thinking of scheduling up and bringing better teams in. Getting beat by 50 and having a running clock the whole second half won’t do much for them.

Let me say this... we play small 2A schools because we are the smallest 2A school. You have twice the number of students that TC has. So come up with a better response than TC plays small 2A schools. That's what they are. You had 9 seniors on the field one time the other night. TC had 4 sophomores, 1 freshman, 5 juniors and 1 senior playing against them. Bottom line is your one man beat them. Heck your quarterback was the man. I hope he has a great rest of the year. You have bragging rights over a 2A school for a year. Maybe that big 2A win will help you go far in the playoffs but remember, you will be playing schools your own size there.  Again wish you guys the best of luck

And as far as play offs go, congrats. Playing in small 2A ball your first couple of games will probably be against teams that barely have a team. 

I have to say I'm surprised. Not necessarily that Macon won but the fact that Trousdale just quit and didn't have the fight in them toward the end of the game. Macon just wore them down. With that being said Trousdale does have some athletes and playing down in 2A they should be fine.

Maybe they couldn't find a spot for us to fill in. I just find it funny that we've played every year for the previous 15 or so and when they know we'll actually have some competitive teams and they might be down a little all of a sudden they couldn't find a spot for us. Just seems like a heck of a coincidence to me.

Macon could have a couple more wins the last two years but for some reason Trousdale couldn't fit us in their schedule.

Macon is averaging about 34 points and probably 350 to 400 yards a game and that includes probably the two best teams we'll play this year. I don't see how y'all are griping about those numbers on offense unless for some reason you have something personal against the coaching staff.

Ha your post was a huge fail. A big drug bust? I'm not saying it isn't true, but this is the first I'm hearing of it. Now why would I help out a bunch of druggies that I don't even know with bail money? That statement just doesn't make much sense, even for a doped up MethMinnvillian like yourself. The way I figure it, you have to be one of them to keep up with drug busts here. I guess you're just making sure none of your family or personal dealers got pinched in the sting.

 

Vast knowledge? You won't find a single post on here where I act like I have a ton of football knowledge, or a high football IQ with a superior understanding of the game. In fact, my football knowledge is only slightly above average. I'm closer to being an ole 'Average Joe' when it comes to all of that than an expert. A General Neyland I certainly am not.

 

For future references, if your going to attempt to troll, at least say something that's going to upset and irritate people while simultaneously getting under their skin a little bit too. You definitely failed with your measly attempt at the art of trolling. You're just not very good at it. I'll tell you what good sir, for a small fee of $10.00 a hour, I will voluntarily drive to MethMinnville twice a week and teach you how to troll. This trolling class will consist of six different class sessions, with each session lasting three hours. That comes out to a grand total of $180.00 for 18 hours of schooling. On a second thought, you don't seem too awfully bright so we had better just make it eight total classes/sessions overall. The two extra classes are on me free of charge. That way I'll have six more hours to be around and spend a little more quality time with that pretty little wife of yours while I have you busy doing your homework.

I just read what someone posted as the story in the Herald-Citizen for this game. Those writers at the H-C should be fired! Their ability to write stories without being homers rooting for the Upper Cumberland teams is non-existent. Even if their stories weren't unbiased, they are still horribly written. This was as unprofessional as it gets. I'm embarrassed for the guy who wrote it. They should get some journalism kids out of Tech to do the writing. Guarantee it would be better.
