Hey Heather,
If you do, just be sure and not stay out all night and miss work the next morning. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
Coach Quarter better be glad he is happily married. I know he can handle the pressure on the football field;however, he couldn't handle me past 10:30.
-
I would love to come over and see Coach Quarter. However, if I saw that hunk of a man, I would have to take him out on the town. And, unfortunately, I've heard he is married. So, does he have any twin brothers? Coach Quarter is so HOTTTTTT!!!

DB at Farragut....How is DB still playing. Haven't they lost to WB and Bearden this year? Is this a triple elimination tournament? I guess I'll take DB to win simply because they are on the road.
WB at Bearden....This game has the makings to be an instant classic like Tennesee and La Lafayette. WB wins, but only because Bearden uses up all 3 of their timeouts in the 1st half and doesn't have any left to get the ball back late in the game.
West at Maryville...Jake Ryan is my hero. He will throw all over the undersized Maryville corners. No upset here. West big 31-10.
By the way, will any of these games be picked up by Lincoln Financial?

Good luck to the Rebels!!
Don't think you will have much problem Friday night. To much talent, and WAY to much coaching. Look forward to following your run to Murfreesboro. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
I hate to challenge your spelling since you are on TV and whatever, but I believe that in the context of your statements, you should have written "Too much talent, and way too much coaching." I did graduate from UT you know. And I am on the radio.
-
Heather, once again, there are enough media sources and common sense in the world for you to figure out who and where Jefferson Co. is playing this week. Stay off this thread until you have something intelligent to add.
I really do not see how Jefferson County can stop the Admirals. Sterling cannot be tackled without more than one Patriot bringing him down;therefore, the Admirals will roll!!!. How's that, Mr. Tri-Cities Smarty Pants? I'm sorry for messing up your little "serious" message board.
-
Missed you on air today Heather. What is your take of Vols defense vs the vaunted running attack of Arkansas.
I was like, Hello???? You know he is going to run the ball. Just tackle him. It is an easy game. In volleyball, we really never knew where they were going to hit it.
-
Heather, your on-air comments are just as weighty and insightful as those you grace us with here on CoachT. So that leads me to this question -- what stellar qualifications did you bring to the table to earn your job there on the SportsAnimal?
I did my internship there. And, remember, Mickey is the sports director and he is Single.
-
I thought the Patriots were on a bye this week.
-
I thought Oak Ridge was the 2 seed. Didn't they beat Farragut last week. I know I said Farragut lost on the air Friday night.
-
Coach Quarter keeps on getting lucky. I don't care though because man he is a hot one. Why would Rhea County be playing Maryville anyway. Isn't Rhea County like 100 miles south of Maryville?
-
I thought that Bearden played Farragut since they were both number 1 seeds. Anyway, I'll take Bearden in this one. Dearstone said Bearden is unbeatable unless the refs cheat.
-
I just want to know if 'the Poster' is of Heather ON the bike? Would really like to have one of the BIKE! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
Thanks for all of the compliments. By the way, I really didn't understand all of that explanation a few posts ago about how the playoffs work, but I'm not going to worry about it. I just know that Catholic would win the TN state championship if there were just one winner.
-
-
WB's defense played out of their head last week. If Campbell County will just throw the ball, they will win. The Governors do not stop the pass very well.
-
I don't understand. Are these not the first round matchups? Why do they seed them 1-4 if they don't play each other? Someone help me.
-
There is no doubt I will continue my hot streak this week.
Game 1 #1 Farragut vs #1 Bearden These teams met earlier in the year with the Knoxville Team winning. I think
Farragut won. Therefore they should win again.
Game 2 #2 WB vs #2 DB These teams met earlier in the year with the Maryville Team winning.
Therefore they should win again.
Game 3 #3 Oak Ridge vs #3 C County Oak Ridge wins big 38-4.
Game 4 #4 Ooltewah vs #4 Jeff County I really don't know much about this game. However, I thought the
Patriots were on a bye this week.
Good Luck to all of the teams, and remember, listen to me in the morning on the SPORTS ANIMAL 99.1 and 99.3.

1) Maryville, coming off a huge upset over Halls last week will stay high on emotion as this is a MUST game vs Lenior City. Final score Maryville 20 Lenior City 14
2) Oak Ridge and Farragut will do battle over at Dudley Field in pretty much a meaningless game. Final Score Oak Ridge 37 Farragut 3
3) The Battle for Blount County Supremacy. The Appalachians vs the Senators. I have to say that this will be the last game for the Seniors of WB so they will probably try real hard. Their defense is still struggling. Final Score WB 42 Heritage 35.
4) Science Hill and DB will once again finish the regular season up there in Bristol. I see this one being real close until overtime. In overtime, I think DB will score 3 or 4 times and Science Hill won't score at all. Final Score
DB 55 Science Hill 31 in OT
Stay tuned for my playoff predictions next week.
4-0. I did great.
-
I am pretty sure that people are not going to move up in classifications for the playoffs. That would be one of the dumbest moves that a team could make. If that is really Heather, I love you on the sports animal.
Thank you. Would you like a poster?
-
I don't see what the big deal is with this game. Both teams are going into the playoffs. How is this a big game? Anyway OR 37-Farragut 3.
-
Maryville, coming off of that big upset over Halls last week, should be ready to play. This is a MUST game for the Rebels. Maryville wins by a touchdown. Good luck Coach Quarter.
-
yeah this "heather" doesn't even know the OT format. she picked a 23 point difference in OT?! I would like to know how that works because that can't happen no matter where the game is played. Maybe this heatherharrington will stop talking and use a mapquest before she picks another game.
Listen, buddy, as I said before I am on the RADIO every morning on the Animal. Also, I give out the scores every Friday night when they are reported in. Maybe you don't know what you are talking about. I know I gave a score out last week where a team won by 20 points or something in OT. Until you're on the RADIO, quit questioning my intelligence.
-
Whew! Thanks for straightening that out FTBMan. You're really on top of things.
Hey Heather,
Is it true what I heard? That this year, since it is an uneven number, that the team's finishing first in their region can actually choose to compete in a different classification for the playoffs? I heard that if Maryville wins tonight, that they might move up and play in the 5A playoffs this year. Does this sound right to you?
Thanks for the question. However, I don't think that is true. I have a feeling that you might be making fun of me??? Maybe I should give you one of my posters.
-
Do you even know how OT works?
Of course I know how overtime works. In case you don't know, I am on the Sports Animal every morning here in Knoxville. Both teams line up and play a quarter. Whoever scores the most in the quarter wins. If both teams are still tied, they line up and play another quarter. After that, though I am not sure if the game is still tied.
Maryville vs Maplewood
in Class 5A & Class 6A

Yeah Maryville has made it to the championship game, but hasn't all of their playoff games been at home? Let's see if they can play at a neutral site on a college field. They will probably have trouble.
