First off you have no idea who I am or what I do and trust me I don’t carry any footballs on the sideline. I admitted that SD had an outstanding gameplan and was smart to play the way they did, good coaching by Duncan. But your the one who called me out saying the weather didn’t affect the game when you know dang well it did. Keep running that mouth tho, it only fuels our fire and we’ll see ya again soon.

    We will see you then.

Indeed it is HTV but all these numbers had no affect on the game Friday is my point. The rain was unbearable down there Friday to the point we were having trouble throwing short much less and medium to long throws. So what the SD faithful are saying is our QB is just terrible and can’t pass at all. Cause the weather had no affect on the game right? Hahaha, they need to keep dreaming and enjoy this small victory :roflol:

    WOW just WOW.

1st,no one has ever said anything about any kid,ever....

you seem to have a problem with understanding facts and data whether it is the Powell recruiting rumor, the players who were ejected (and you first claimed that you were right there and the facts were scewed only to then admit that at least one was justified when the news sentinel reported that central didn't even appeal one of them or when it was the original reply stated that one team devised a game plan based upon the weather forecast and one apparently did not.

BTW,ask Coach Rosser if this was a small defeat...and keep carrying that ball on the sideline.

If the weather didn’t matter then why didn’t SD try a pass? My point, NETHER team had the ability to pass the ball. So like I said, if you’d listened the first time, SD had a good plan to just give Young the ball and let him run downhill. And when you have a player that good, he’s gonna pop some big runs eventually which he did. Don’t worry, if we play again we WILL DEFINITELY score more than 10 points and my point will be proven.

    IF you HAD ONLY listened............

these are the official stats for the passing team through games:

    PASSING YRDS: 1521 Yards

    RUSHING YRDS;1304 YARDS

Again this does not include last Fridays' game

for SOUTH DOYLE through 9 games:

    Passing : 1469 Yards

    Rushing:2001 Yards

So basically there was a 52 yard difference in the passing game between the two teams.

    Just facts and data...

Wether anyone wants to admit it or not, the weather was the deciding factor in that game last night. We are a passing team this year and anyone watching could see neither team had a chance at throwing in that monsoon last night. Not to mention we had a very hard time holding onto the ball when we are usually sure handed. With that being said, SD had a smart gameplan. Why not just snap the ball to 1 guy and let him run downhill for at minimum 3-4 yards a carry? And when you got a guy as good as Young, he’s gonna eventually pop a big one or two. It was the perfect storm, literally, for SD last night. If both teams play again, it WILL be a different story.

    Really???

It only rained on one side of the field and I guess only one team had access to the weather reports.

Well the facts against our players are a little skewed if you want my honesty and trust me I know what was said because I was on the sideline to hear it all. But Anyhew, the FACT is two unsportsmanlikes vs the bench The HC is gone and for the next game. So how can his get overturned but the players can’t????? Something fishy there folks. Maybe it’s cause where the head referee went to school at(which nobody wants to discuss).

I have a question then if as you say you heard everything and the facts are a little skewed then why did Central  only make an appeal for one of their players and not both??

This was reported in the News Sentinel today.

Not surprised that SD lost.  They have not played a quality team like AC all season.  Even if there starting QB played for SD, I still don't think it would of made a difference.  AC defense did a good job against the run all game (witch is SD strong suit)

    Congrats to AC.

But not having a 3 year starter at qb and the decision making that he brings didn’t make a difference?? Really?

I 100% agree with you thats why I asked what several teams he thought in the top 10 would finish 3rd in Region 6. Out of East TN you have Central, Powell, Knox West, South Doyle, and David Crockett that have a legit chance of making the  5a Final depending on who shows up on a given night.

    Agreed

It all depends on the play calling ! Young is a beast and will need to be  Contained, but in the same hand the OC has to set him up for success. This South Doyle team has talent all across the board, and a QB who has started for 3 years. If they come out running  young right, young left, screen pass to young , SD will lose a close one. Now if they come out and spread the ball around to their other talents and loosen up the defensive,  then start feeding young,he will rush for 300yrds and SD wins by 30.

    WOW.   Sounds easy.
