  1. I am sorry but the TSSAA needs to do a better job of communicating information to fans. I looked all over the website and cannont find any mention of when the brackets will be drawn. Come on BigG or one of you veteran soccer posters may know.

Never been posted or predicted in the 8 yrs I've been following.

  2. Is that another name for Houston?

Sometimes Houston is listed as "Germantown - Houston High School", but there is a "Germantown High School" as well, so usually everyone drops the "Germantown" when referring to "Houston High School" to avoid just this type of confusion.

  3. District 14-AAA

    10/18 - Bartlett 11 vs. Craigmont 0

    10/18 - Millington 1 vs. Cordova 0

    District 15-AAA

10/18 - Collierville 2 vs. Germantown 1 (CHS was down 1-0 although controlling play for most of the game with 11 minutes remaining before scoring two to win)

10/21 - District Final (Collierville at Houston)

    District 16-AAA

    10/18 - Central 3 vs. Whitehaven 2

10/19 - District Final (Central at White Station)

  4. Good luck and congratulations to all the teams participating this weekend at the D1 State Cup in Murfreesboro!

Safe travels to all the fans, families, organizers and of course players.

Let's hope the competition is intense, play is fair and the "Great Game" is advanced.

    Best wishes everyone!

  5. Was at last nights DB vs. Houston game and just wanted to pass along congratulations to every participant in the evening (except the center who was the only one clearly overmatched).

The players competed at an extremely high level on both sides of the pitch and the parents and fans were as cordial to each other while still in strong and vocal alliance to their school as I have ever seen under such pressure filled circumstances.

DB should be very proud of another great showing at State - and what a terrific turn of events for Houston. I remember they lost in the final seconds at last years State Tournament game against Siegel only to win in the last 16 seconds last night.

    Again...congratulations to all!!

  6. Some great soccer at Katie Hunter this weekend.

Congratulations to the top three finishers in the Katie Hunter Division (tournament official results haven't been posted yet, but I'm pretty sure this is the way it will pan out).

Champion - Houston (12 pts, +10 Goal Differential)

Finalist - St. Benedict (12 pts, +8 Goal Differential)

    3rd Place - St. Agnes (10 pts)

Best atmosphere was without a doubt the Houston 4 vs Oak Ridge 0 game at 9PM Saturday evening. GREAT Oak Ridge student support!
