  1. Champ has seen only 2 teams so not sure how he can say CCS won't advance far. From what I have seen with my eyeballs, East Ridge has the most talent in SE TN in A\AA. But they are too emotional and very immature, as exhibited when they started a fight with Tyner after clinching the district 1 seed. If they can pull themselves together, they may go far. I have not been able to see North Red Bank this year, but they have a great tactical coach and lots of experience.

I am all knowing...you will see....

You are lucky DeKalb...you were guaranteed a loss by one of the bad boy bully schools last Tuesday...

1-0 on a PK....then from what I heard CCS went defensive (Not a bad strategy though)...I didn't see that game , but did watch yesterday, and I stand by my comment....and to make you feel better Troll, I did see SM play ND, and your guys are the real deal...some real talent up there this year...I would expect them to progress well...

  4. CCS advances to district final. Scores in stoppage time of 2nd 10 minute overtime to win 1-0

Unfortunately, the better team did not win this game...CCS will not advance far

  6. Assume someone from either side will be posting updates on this thread as the game goes on for us fans not making the trip...(Would love to have been able to see the Irish play in my alma mater's football stadium tonight- I didn't see too many TTU wins during my time there in the mid 80's...)

    Go Irish!

  7. Don't forget about the the Harpeth Hall coach

Boy- I missed this about the HH coach....that is a whole 'nother level of dumb and sick.....

Longtime area soccer coach Rico Laise, 46, was arrested by the Metro Nashville Police Department on Tuesday on charges of rape after allegedly maintaining a sexual relationship with a teenager while she suffered from concussion-related depression.

Laise was arrested at Harpeth Hall, where he is currently the assistant varsity soccer coach, on Tuesday. The charges include two counts of statutory rape and two counts of rape involving a person with a mental incapacity.

In an email sent out to Harpeth Hall parents Tuesday evening, Head of School Ann Teaff said school officials were made aware of the accusations only after police arrested Laise on the campus. But Teaff said that police assured her none of the alleged activity occurred on the school’s campus.

  8. Just looks like y'all gave up a lot of points to some not very good teams.  I've seen it before with my Eagles.  We have had some bad defenses, but it didn't matter during the season because the offense could outscore the competition. The defense didn't have to work hard in the regular season and didn't get much practice time.  Sooner or later you run into a team that can slow your offensive production and can score on your defense.  Season over.

I don't put too much stock in the Grundy and Tyner scores.  I figure your defense was sandbagging to get the ball back in the QB's hands to pad his stats.

I am truly enjoying have Troll, at least temporarily, on the side of the Irish....

  9. Yes that is correct TSSAA agreed to move it to Thursday night but of course nd didn't want to move it up a day and declined. I guess their great coach figured their great and awesome and powerful players needed that extra day to practice for the lonely little ole bees with not a lick of talent oh yes I forgot that great lack of coaching. Lol that's funny

What kind of comment is "Of course nd didn't want to move it..."

Seriously, you make ND out as wimping out? You have the home field, we have to travel, a logistical change of plans for family, friends, students who have to travel, and a school night... where as you all can go home right after the game? Give me a break...Makes perfect sense to keep it as it is scheduled, despite the weather...
