Not a team here that can beat Loretto or CA
Think you missed it. Haha!!
-
Loretto and CA should both get to the glass house. As UC learned last year, you better not sleep on Loretto. 2 kids at 6'8" can cause problems for anyone.
How did that turn out for you??
-
You are correct about #12. His brother is a freshman, starting DB, at UGA. He played at another private everyone hates - Ensworth.
Everything about NCS has been under the radar this year as we are still mourning the death of our most exciting and most beloved player. It's just been the last few weeks that any of us have been on here too much. Seems like we are all starting to come out of a fog.
Do you really think Ensworth cares what you think??
-
I'm the most impress with the Tornadoes. They graduated a bunch last year. And have not missed a beat. This is truly called "reloading". Must have a heck of a coach. Good luck to both schools tonight. I have nothing to do with either school but I'm coming from Nashville tonight just to view a great atmosphere of high school football. Can't wait!!

I'm interested in seeing how that match up with JPII. To me it's like MTSU going to play Vandy
It shouldn't be a good match up. JPll is in D2 where they can give financial aid. NCS is in D1 where they can't.
-
Here's your wish small public schools NCS goes to at a Division 2 opponent. Can NCS matchup with a team that plays with the likes if BA, MBA, Ensworth
Well you got half right. They do play the likes they just don't compete very well against them.
-
I believe Gleason has the smallest enrollment for a high school that has football.
And what would that be?
-
Did Peabody drop down to 1A this year?
Bump....
-
Did Peabody drop down to 1A this year?

Certainly can't leave off BGA coach. Don't know his name.
-
Immediately go Division II.
That's it. Why is that so hard?????
-
Having seen both play this year, my thoughts on "the dropdown bowl". BGA has a chance for the upset (let's face it, that's saying something, few other teams in our division would have a chance). if they can find a way to slow Webbs potent offense they (BGA) has the skill position guys to give Webb loads of trouble. Tall and fast, if used correctly, they will score plenty of points. Would be interesting to see what would happen if BGA somehow got out to a quick lead as Webbs O doesn't appear to be much of a passing attack. If Webb can control the clock and rely on their line to pound the ball then BGA could be in trouble. On the surface this looks like a close game.
"Dropdown Bowl". Love it. Haha!!!
-
HAHAHAHA the talk about which division Webb should be in starts again.
GET OVER IT! YOU AREN'T GOING TO CHANGE IT.
BGA has more football players than Webb.
ECS has more football players than Webb.
And Webb beats both of them on the reg.
Good luck on Thursday bud. Hopefully that awesome coach of yours is preparing well.
So how many championships did you when in D2 AA? NONE!!!!
-
Glad to hear that BGA is in the right classification. Does seem a little odd that they won boys basketball state and now possibly a football state the first year of D2 A.
-
Well, Well. Let's see who wins the state from two teams that dropped down. Couldn't beat the Ensworths of the world. So drop down. That's awfully big of y'all. Haha!!!
-
Sounds as if UC is on another level than 1A ball.... Maybe TSSAA can see to that next year and move UC to 2A.
And put NCS in D2 where they belong.
-
Can't wait to hear the excuses. Hahahahahaha!!!!!
-
And one thing I think a lot of people are forgetting about is the NCS East Nash game. NCS dominated that game from start to finish. East Nash beat Pearl-Cohn. Folks Pearl-Cohn is in the 4A semi-finals. So for everyone who keeps on with the whole NCS hasn't played anyone gig, it needs to stop. This team is for real. And I'm not saying NCS could beat pearl because east nash beat them, but you have to take that into account when talking about how many tough teams both of these teams have played. Go Eagles![/quot
e]
Dude they lost their quarterback on the first series and hasnt payed since. That's what made East go. East would have gotten killed against Pearl Cohn too if the main man was out.

When does the iphone app come out???

Davidson Academy upsets Webb. You heard it here first!!

FearedEagle is a Houston County supporter. There's a trend on here (and the other thread) that shows common opponents rooting for one team over the other. Draw your own conclusions.
I dare somebody pick someone other than the mighty NCS.
-
A little fuel for this discussion.
Video from 2nd Round TSSAA Playoff Nov 9th 2012.
Side note/personal opinion so take it for what ot is worth: I get to watch a mixture of all classifications here in the mid TN area and I can say from side line comparisons of 6A down to 1A football teams. I have seen a couple 6A schools that NCS would probably beat. The depth of bench would be a challenge for NCS to overcome with the larger schools as they have a few athletes that would complete and be good at any classification. They would be obvious underdogs with all the teams on the recent Tennessean Top 10 But they could possibly upset one of these top teams unlikely but possible.
I see NCS mercy rule Clarksville Academy. And then again couple weeks later in the Playoffs.
Just give ole Ricky Bowers a call. I'm sure they would live to play the mighty Eagles!!
-
I obviously understand that you did not write the article, but since you linked it into the thread I assume you agreed with it, which you do correct?
I'm sure that the no.4 team would play the mighty NCS. Since their both in Bellevue they both could save on some gas.
-
After you sleep on it, I would expect you to post an apology for this outrageous personal attack on an individual and a school.
First off, NCS is the one of the least expensive private schools in the State. It's less per month than most car payments. For almost 35 years NCS was regularly a doormat in football. Coach Brothers was hired five or six years ago and things slowly changed. A lot of NCS's players have been there many years. Our Ole Miss signee OL as an example, came to NCS in the 5th grade.
Your reference to "nice humble boys of low to middle class" describes NCS's team perfectly. The only people "putting out some money" are the parents who choose to drive a less fancy car, skip vacations for many years, and sacrifice so that they can give their children a better educational opportunity than what's available at some of Metro Nashville's run down, gang infested public schools.
You are simply clueless in your warped vision of NCS.
Can you say "Work Study". It started when Brothers came aboard.
