  1. Tell a cheerleader it is not a sport after the 6th or 7th practice of the week in the months before nationals.

    ok find me one and i will /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  2. How's it feel to get beat by a girl? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

No big deal kathy owns me all the time so why not one more /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> lol

  3. some one needs to post a link to the tn classic run from yesterday, and check out both divisions interesting race. i feel bad for the jake rainy, mahaney and the other rossveiw dude who went of coarse and ran an extra quarter but its all part of the sport. Like to see some of the times match up between divisions and see what it looks like. nuff said.

  4. I'm surprised no one has mentioned sc yet. sc beat macon county in the regional meet(even though they lost to them at state). With only two seniors graduating, their 3rd man and 7th man they return all the rest, with the addition of several freshmen who have gone faster than the 7th man they lost. this year sc should have a top 7 possibly 8 that can go sub 18, and maybe a top 2 or 3 that go sub 17

  5. Band is most definately not a sport. cheerleading in general is not a sport, but competetive cheerleading i do believe would qualify. Band is a performing art, much like theater and chorus. Though it does some degree of conditioning(i.e. lung strenegth) it in general does not require enough physical activity to qualify as anything more than what it is a performing art. You can still be morbidly obese, and play in the band. Now i understand in football the same can be said but..... football does require more physical training, where as band is more simply put as knowing your instrument and where you fall into line therefore not a sport.

  6. Next years 4x8 A-AA competition should be one of the fastest its been in years. Station Camp keeps its three juniors which consist of the pr's of 2:01, 2:02, and 2:00, and pulls forward one junior soon to be senior that has run a 2:06 in one of the only three times he has ever ran the 800, and has run a 2:08 his sophomore year in practice clothes on a concrete track. And then even though one of their runners really upset me off earlier you have to give some credit to cak a 3rd place finish with two freshmen, and two sophomores is pretty sick as well. Then as always DL and FRA always manage to pull out a good competing if not winning time. I'de say next year exspect 1st in sub 8:10 possibly sub 8:05 or even maybe sub 8:00, 2nd place to be sub 8:10 3 through 4 in sub 8:15. Thats gonna be hauling next year, and one of the fastest average times a/aa has seen in several years. Good Luck 4x8 runners

  7. yeah ill say it again it seemed FISHY. read it again. sound it out if you have to.

    you were running with nobody

    1. yeah!

    2 yeah!

ok call it fishy. And when we wipe you up next year like we did this year call that fishy too, the thing is.... the part you forgot is that no one cares. Your just makeing yourself look like a sore looser, and an idiot, so do us all a favor learn some humility acknowledge the victor for this year shake hands, start training for next year so maybe you can give us a run for our money along with the other great teams out there. thanks bro.

  8. what about cak finishing 3rd in that 4 by 8 anybody have them beating any team from the middle section? NOPE! 2 sophomores and 2 freshman. I'd watch out for us next year and then the next. Just chucking that out there. oh a 7 second pr is kind of fishy seeing as how you were running with nobody.

lol FISHY? all we did is each run on our individual pr two of us breaking it by half a second and one breaking it by a second and then i didnt even hit my pr i was a second off. lol but ok its state bro, everybody runs their best times at state, or that is the goal. at region one of our runners ran 3 seconds of his pr another went 2 seconds of his pr, another 1.4 seconds off, and the other pr'ed but then beat that pr by 2 secods at state, its state anything can happen but calling someones time fishy is absolutely ridiculouse

  9. this is Pickerel just so you guys know now.... my life stinks my cocky ###### coasts in the last two steps just to see Mahanney stick his little head over the finish line, why you might ask would anyone slow down before the finish? the answer is because im a loser

haha that is all and Station Camp? 7 second PR really? go die

lol is some one a little angry lol. next year will be tight im sure as well so good luck. ill let you guys in on a little secret. we losses our third leg of zach parker who was a great third leg for us at 207, but we pick up our miler who we very well belive will join our three returning juniors in the sub 203 club which will hope fully by next year be a straight sub 200 club

  10. I pick Mahaney for the triple crown, for several reasons no one is considering. 1. like said 3200 is in the morning, which to me would more stretch me out than wear me doqwn with that signifigant break. 2. the thing no one is considering with Mahaney, that boy can't stand to loose! No he may not be as fresh as johnson in the 1600 and def. not the 800 but i belive he has the heart and mind set to win it. 1600 is a given i give it to Mahaney theres no way hes gonna loose anything mile and up it just isnt in his nature, now the 800 is gonna be tough and i think it will come down to who ever wants it more Mahaney or johnson and Mahaney allways seeems to pull out just enough to win, im just glad im not raceing him this time lol.

  13. ahhh teece31= pickerel ( spell check sorry) ha Well mines pretty obvious as to who i am. That was one heck of a 4x8 last night. State is going to be a tight one. I look forward to racing you guys again. By The Way congrats on the win last night FRA, got us right at the end.

  14. Lol i noticed you had station camp's 4x8 behind fra's thats funny cause station camp has posted a faster time this and only one of the four has run their personal best, and the other three have been running 3 to 5 seconds off the whole year. don't be surprised if station camp takes region

  15. This whole issue is absolutely ridiculous, you run track you follow the rules. this one is pretty simple, take your jewelry off. Thats pretty simple, you signed up for this sport, therefore you signed up knowing you would be asked to take your jewelry off. As a runner this greatly frustrates me, i get tired of having to wait additional time for my race to start because some punk wont take off a necklace or bracelet.
