I am for C'wood, but if the coaches coach, like they have been then they could be in trouble. #6 is always wide open and they hardly throw it to him; they are wasting a great player. The fans are talking about it to, wonder what is up with that? I still have to go with the TROJANS!

Did Max go play college ball anywhere?

 

So far not that I know of and I would have heard. He is a good kid.

I know one of the stat pack asked earlier, is the Risner (spelling) still playing? Based on what I have been reading here.....it sounds like Collinwood is young. Last year lewis played a lot of younger players (backfield made up on 2 Soph. and 2 Jrs.) . Based on that I would have to give the edge to Lewis then. Should be a good game either way. Last years was a barn burner......right down to the last ticks of the clock. Play hard and injury free.....to both. Lewis I think...if everything I read is right, pulls out a squeaker!

 

The Risner kid graduated last year. Collinwood is young, come on man they still have talent.

How much does the Montgomery kid play? I saw him last year in middle school ball and he is a huge kid. He played a little scared it looked and seemed to be afraid of getting hit or hitting someone. A kid that size should be running over people. Does C'wood throw the ball a lot or do they run it?

 

They have been doing alot of both. The have good hands, so their ability to catch is good. The Montgomery kids, he hasn't played like he is scared. He loves the game and it shows. He is a good size kid with talent. We will see come Friday night. I'm sure that in the first game there will be alot of nerves. Me for one.lol I can't wait.

Who is C'woods QB? I thought it would be the Davis kid.

The QB is Davis. The Trojans have been looking pretty good. They have some talented men out there. Roberson who has for going on 4 years done an outstanding job, and you have the Weaver boys, Chambers,and Ray this is only a few but I think the Trojans get under-estimated every year. They are a tough team, not alot of size but alot of pride, and character plus determination to get the job done.

They will be nice...lol.... One thing I love about the Trojans is they "appear" to show good sportsmanship. Notice I said appear...I mean to hear them talk about other teams and run them down after they play; a few that I have personally spoken with has not said anything negative about the other team. That says alot...

Give me some details on the Scotts Hill scrimmage. I don't have video yet.

 

C'wood looked good against Scotts Hill...There was alot of hard hitting going on. Trojans scored, really didn't notice if Scotts Hill did, but Scotts Hill's team was fired up. I really liked the support that Scotts Hill's guys on the sideline gave each other it was awesome. I know that their not cheerleaders but come on guys lets watch the game and help pump each other up...

got a few big ole linemen that just cant wait to bust some heads. I just hope this year we dont have mud bowl #2 Goodluck to yall we will see you in a few weeks.

 

They are ready. The Trojans are looking good and I expect them to only improve. We have alot of guys that are eager for this year to get started.

you don't see college and pro athletes getting hurt because they only play one side of the ball...im sure you'll say blah blah, there college/pro athletets(which is somewhat true)...but even 4-6a schools don't have players going both ways and there okay

 

 

After watching a couple of 7 on 7 games this year with Collinwood and some of the local area teams I feel that Collinwood will hold their own. I also think they will be a team that you can expect the unexpected.

ssssssssss I don't have a clue to who are, but you sure do alot of running that mouth. I get so sick and tired to hearing how Waynesboro is going to put the "whooping" on Collinwood.

 

There are two teams out there and some great kids from both sides that are on that field. It is the "grown-ups" that keep the stink going. Let the kids play and have fun! What is your problem anyway, dude? You need to get over it.

 

Collinwood's D you say is not any good, well I bet you they could run you over in a New York second.

The game last night was awesome. Both teams played hard. I hate that Collinwood lost. We had a few turnovers and a couple of things that hurt us, but I am so proud of them...I love those Trojans! We are behind you all the way.

dude, I will predict that mt pleasant wins it...no offense but I dont think Waynesboro will beable to pass on Mt pleasant's secondary,,,they are real quick and tall and really punish thereceivers after the catch.  It will be a good one though...also, with a little more blocking,Nance can do some damage with the long ball

Sounds like alot against Collinwood. You have to be from Waynesboro to think your the better half of the town.  I just wish you were as grand as you think you are.  It is people like you that keep the rival between Collinwood and Waynesboro going.  You can never leave well enough alone.  No matter what Collinwood does, you have to put them down to make yourself look better.  You must be looking through black and gold glasses. Dude I feel sorry for you with an attitude like that.  No we don't forget nothing about Waynesboro you will not let us. As much as I would like to..you push yourself in everybody's face.  Look we have some great guys out there and everyone needs to reconized for their hard work.  Unlike you, we look at our team as a "whole" not one or two people. Get with it and put on your big boy pants and deal with it. Collinwood is a good town and great people here, I don't know why you feel you are the better half of anything...

Clarksville Academy won this game!!!!!! The score was 72 to 63. CA never trailed the entire game. Collinwood was a good team and a class team. One of the best that CA has played. By the way, the gym held every bit of 1,000 and didn't need that live feed, but they had it anyway!!!! Way to go Cougars.

I totally agree...Wonder why they don't? I will try and keep up the stats so that when I call there will be a detailed undate...Will they announce it? Or will it just be the score?

During the playoffs, from now through the State Tournament, BIG Oldies 930 Radio (Waynesboro-Collinwood-Clifton..."and all stops inbetween") is looking for a person that will be attending all Collinwood Trojans basketball games.
