I just wanted to thank you for such a great season here in Chapel Hill. I don't know another group of seniors in the state of Tn. that could have gone though the changes that this group went though and turn out to have a season like this. To meet your new coach on the first day of summer camp, and then play Clarkrange the first game of the season with 2 plays. 1 offense, 1 defense. Then from that point go 29-3 with a district, district tournament, region, and substate titles. To play in the state tournament for the fourth year in a row, what a special group. Your won-lost record as Lady Rockets is 114-23 with one GOLD BALL and 3 ELITE 8 appearances. As middle schoolers you had a record of 42-0 with 2 TNT Titles. You have been a special group to me, when you first step on the basketball court in the 3rd grade. Though all the TN FLASH games and the places that we played, you have always made me proud of the way you handle yourselves and the role models that you have become for our underclassmen. You 6 girls (Amanda, Summer, Haley, Thea, Megan, and Bequi) have helped to keep Forrest on the basketball map and have set the bar high for girls to follow. For the jrs.,soph., and fresh, you control your on destiny. Work hard this spring, summer, and fall, Coach Jean will lead you to your on special seasons. The cupboard isn't bare, just reloading. Stay hungry and never be satisfy, always improving.
