we just saw! Joe Jackson is the king of MEMPHIS! everybody else is trying to be 2nd best!!!

I have to say Applewhite & Petrino are better coaches now? Melrose has much more talent then White Station and Central but lost both games! The team with much more talent should win if u got a half way decent coach! I think coach JJ over coaches sometimes when he should just let his talent play.

Really Middle College was missing 3 starters that game -vs- Lake Co!!! One had a dislocated shoulder. The other Dexter Alexander was getting ready for the football all-star game. The big kid Quincy Coleman broke his hand and was not playing! But all of them was back by the time Manassas played Middle College yhe 2nd time. At the begining of the year I was not sure that Manassas was a top team this year because they didn't play as a team like Manassas other teams would. Now that has all changed Manassas is clicking! They look like a team that could beat any of those teams they beat them this year. Manassas is not the same team that lost those 4 games early. I do think not playing a game since last Tuesday will hurt them this Thursday when they face trezevant again. Still think Manassas gone win but it won't be easy!!!

White Station @ Melrose would be the no brainer but Trezevant @ BTW is interesting to me also. Yank, what do you think I should do?

You mean like the AP poll? The SOS measures the records of everyone they play. Not meant to be anything else. My original question was how could Oakhaven Move over Manassas when they have lost 4 games this year and manassas has been undefeated in 2010. Manassas 16-4 has not lost a game in 2010. Oakhaven 13-6 has lost for games this year and moved Manassas back out of the polls? lol!!! As far as SOS Manassas play in the ACC, Big East, and Big 12. Some of these so called team with stronger SOS play in the SWAC!!! lol!!

BTW has played a weak schedule every year and they are always in AP poll! lol!!! They were state runner-up last year with that weak schedule! lol!!! These so called weak MEMPHIS TEAMS would crush teams from all over the state!!! Middle College gets beat by 50+ here in Memphis but lose to Lake Co by 6! lol!!! Humboldt played nobody last year and was ranked #1 all season! How did that turn out for them? lol! The voters are just BIAS because of what they think happened at state last year!!!

Manassas has not lost a game since late December and stand at 16-4. Oakhaven has lost 4 games since late December and stand at 13-6 on the year. Oakhaven getting votes but Manassas not? lol!!! don't think White Station will be tired. These two schools hate each other!!! Both teams will bring there A++ games. I just see Melrose have too much dept for them unless Joe Jackson get everybody in foul trouble.

JoeJackson may look like the effort is not there because the game comes so easy him. He is a better player and a better person then Jones.If thats the case why didn'tPastner go after Jones hard likehe did Jackson? White Station and Ridgeway has about the same amount of talent. Ridgeway has a much better coachand thats the difference!!! Melrose has much more talent then any other team in the state. you said that good teams win over talent right? So are you saying Coach JJ not a good coach and Applewhite is? Last thing Chris Jones can make it about a him-vs- Joe game if he won't but Melrose will surely lose if he does that!!! I'm not sleeping on Westwood! They were my preseason pick to make it out of Memphis. City beat them at the buzzer this year so those two teams are not far apart! Trust me I would love for Westwood to make it over city but I don't see it right now! Both could make it but I only see Westwood getting a far chance if they have to play sub-state on the road because there coach is from Jackson and known in the surrounding areas.

Even with that lost they still should be over Melrose because of what they did to white station!!! 20pts win and 38pt win!! Ridgeway is the #1 team in Memphis right now!!!

Ok Hollimon didn't play and Rucker getting tossed is part of the game when a player does something stupid! Without Hollimon and Rucker Melrose still had Chris Jones, Adonis Thomas, Telvin Wilkerson, Bobby Parks, Ced McAfee, Darius Moore 6'8", and Markel Crawford all D-1 players!!! Central got 3 maybe 4 D-1 players on that team!!! Lol!!! So it's clear Melrose still had much more talent on the floor but Central played as 1 and beat them! Remove Chris Jones in that game and add Joe Jackson! They wouldn't have lost that game! White Station has only 2 locked D-1 players in Jackson and Hollins! Give Jackson Bobby Parks, Adonis Thomas, Ced McAfee and watch what happens!!! Lol!!! As far as Leslie McDonald the guys NC has coming in next year could get the nod over him as far as playing time! McDonald should have gone to Memphis or Tennessee! H will be back soon watch! I wouldn't care about a National Title if I'm a good player and I didn't get the chance to help my team win it on the floor!

Leslie McDonald is a tarheel but he never plays in the games. Maybe NC was not the right fit for him. I look at F. Hall and R. Buckner they are playing in there freshman seasons. Maybe Memphis was a better fit for him. Really after Cal left he should have stayed!

Jones is a year older then Joe but in no way is he better then Joe Jackson. Joe is a smarter player and is much more athletic. Defender? Put Joe on that Melrose team and take off chris! That team wouldn't have lost to Central o anybody else! Put jones on that white station team in the place of Joe and they are not contenders anymore. Chris Jones is a great player but Joe Jackson is on another level!!!
