District tourney games, regional tourney games, and sub-state game are off the chain in Memphis!!! We just don't travel to the boro like that. Small town bosses don't mind letting parents and others off for state tourneys but in Memphis it's much harder. The guy I work for is from a rival school of mine. You think he really won't to let me off for the state tourney? No! Somehow I always get sick around state tourney time and get off work!!! Lol!!! Small town stuff is different because everybody won't to go rep there town! The bosses won't to close so everybody can go rep there town.

I really don't think any Memphis team would have a big following. I have been to the state tourney the last two years and Manassas, Ridgeway, Raleigh Egypt, White Station, Sheffield, and BTW didn't have 1,200 fans at stateall together. Manassas and White Station both have strong Allumni associations but I didn't see but about 200 supporters. Melrose I think would bring about 250 people with them not much more then the other schools did. West Tennessee area team would bring about 2,000 people along fo the ride!!! In Memphis we talk a good game but we don't come out and support our teams like we should!!!

It's all about money. They no Liberty and Bolivar would knock to middle Tennessee teams out! Middle is the boro and more people will come from the middle because there's not really a travel. If they put Manassas, Sheffield, Liberty, and Bolivar in different sub-states and they all would make it!!! Not good for biz tho!!! $$$

Dude, City University is the real deal this year. They got 5 new players on this team and Tevin Cox is a D-1 PG!!! They play about 13 players and 9 of them are major contributors on this team.

What an idiot! Even if hes playing this year as his SR year he would still be one of the top ranked SR. This young man can play. His motor does not stop. He will do good at UT. This kid can play he just need to stay cool and level headed

There is no reason why Manassas should not be in the top ten! But Legend don't let it worry you! In a couple of it will be show time! The contenders will stay and pretenders will go home! To me rankings is just a number! yea I no but what it all boils down to is kids being treated unfairly. this just show that the voters are bias or they just dont no what they are doing!!! lol!!! Just got word in from Jackson LtDan Northside totally dismantaled Bolivar led by 25 before starters were pulled. Tisdale did go out midway first half with eye injury in their defense but dont think would have made a huge difference

The year before Manassas would have done the same without the transfers! They would have made it to finals and lost to union city. All the guys who started last year for Manassas was on that team! Just on the bench. Lol!!! Manassas most dominate team was last year when they went 27-2 with not 1 transfer!!! When the Legend is on the board u have to come at him with some facts!!! When Manassas was in 2A back then they was still a good team. People wouldn't no becUse this was there district. Ridgeway a team that won state titles Raleigh Egypt a team that was 1 of the best in the state Kingsbury a team that was loaded with d-1 players at the time Trezevant a team that beat Raleigh Egypt to win the district title! Then non-league they would play contender Hamilton and Btw a total of 4 games! Manassas was still much better then most small town teams and rual area teams but look at what they had to go thru! Then Manassas started to get some college players like the ones that had been at there rival school and start winning those game they were competitive in back in that district. Then next thing you no some of those teams stop playing them! Manassas has been around and has always played anybody at any place!
