Getting blown out is just unacceptable against any team..if we got blown out by Clarksville..just wait until Northeast..they will being putting triple dights on us..have about a half dozen dunks..and then after the lose everyone on here will being saying..Well it is his only his second year and it takes time to build this team..i guess it took drew emerson time..yeah one year and we were playing for the district championship..Coach Wilkins needs to play the players that will give us a winning record

Marsalis and Shonte both started most of the time? I do not remember Shonte starting at all last year and Marsalis started late last season as a sophmore. If there is a bigger impact player on the team than Marsalis would be, I must not have seen him. This 3 year started you mention getting injured, If I am not mistaken, he did not start several games this season. Ok maybe we should give this guy more of a chance than I may have suggested. I do not think we are headed in the right direction though. I never even suggested that he was a bad coach at any time, I am jsut curious why the players dont want to play for him. I am not just talking about the ones that are not on the team anymore. Have you seen the Patriots play lately? They are not playing with the intensity that they played with early in the year. Same thing last season, come out of the gates playing very hard and then taper off. Coaches dont go from good to bad at mid season, I agree, nor do good players turn into bad ones late. One more thing, the Patriots lost to Kenwood at home and the point guard you mention was still in the game at the final buzzer.

well actually the three year starter mentioned got injured in the northwest game, which was before the kenwood game, and hasn't dressed out since...since he wasnt dressed out, i fail to see how he could've been in at the buzzer in the kenwood ballgame? plz explain?

No disrespect to Rayshawn Walker(Northeast) and Jon Primm (Dickson Co) who are both having really good years but I think its safe to say that Tyrone Caldwell is your District MVP for a third straight year. Granted, it will probably come from one of the three schools who wins the regular season title but when you look over each teams and the supporting cast..Night in and Night out Tyrone has to get it done for Clarksville to win games. "Getting it done" not only means putting up points, but he has to have at least 5-7 assist a night along with 7-10 rebounds and 4-5 steals.. Rayshawn has so much better supporting cast and Primm plays in a system that fits him because the slow it down and he takes the majority of the shots. Jonathan Williams(Rossview) is playing extremely well as of late but I think everyone knows that Rossview has been winning because of the complete team effort. Which is fine, thats how is should be but they dont have that one player who is MVP material.

 

This district has been exteremely interesting to follow, especially the girls side with Rossview beating Northeast.

yeah caldwell is great, and will most likely get mvp this year, but the sophmore point for springfield, cory stanton? i think is his name, has potential to be even better than caldwell..they play very much alike already, and stanton still has a few years to develop

I think with the success and tradition that APSU holds down, Blake will end up there. APSU must have some good conections. I heard their name mentioned the longest with Blake and they have really good TN kids on the roster with Reed from Clarksville-NE and two Ridgeway kids and two other Clarksville and Memphis kids. Not to mention they are getting Tyrone Caldwell and I think Rayshawn Walker from Clarksville-NE? Good luck to wherever Blake goes. I hope he stays in state whether its A-SUN, Sunbelt, OVC or even SEC!

never can tell with this years henry co., sometimes they'll come to play, sometimes they won't.. In the games they win they outwork people and out hustle them. They basically outplay teams, but if they don't work hard every game, they don't win...they don't have enough talent or size to just show up at a ballgame and expect to come out victorious.

No he played. He loves basketball and that should not even be mentioned.

should be a pretty good game. Dyer County is first in the district and Westview is second. winner of this game takes first place in District. the Choctaws are ranked number 3 in the state and the Chargers are number 8.

definitely the game to watch friday night.

well i've seen both teams play, and to be quite honest, i dont even think this will be much of a game, i think dyer co. is capable of winning by 20+, unless westview has drastically improved lately

i don't think anyone is really giving Tyrone Caldwell from Clarksville enough credit, he took them to the state title game last year and dropped 30 in the loss and was dropping dimes like crazy.. The kid already signed with Austin Peay, but could've went to a bigger D1 school, but he'll get playing time as a freshman there.

Dickson Co vs. Springfield---- Well i heard Primm will be out for DC due to the East vs. West football game, but then i heard Springfield has two or three players out due to injury as well, so i'll go with DC by 10-15 pts

Henry Co. vs. Clarksville---- I'd say this will be the game of the night, but i'll go with HC by 10

Northeast vs. Kenwood----NE by 15+, Kenwood is to sloppy and unorganized....period.

Rossview vs. Northwest---- Well i think Rossview will win their first district game, but the way they've been playing it won't be by to much. Northwest is capable of pulling off the upset, but they're sloppy as well, so i doubt they will

Northwest@ Clarksville.. I feel this will be a pretty good game. Who ever executes the best and plays defense will win that game.

Northeast @ Dickson will be a good one as well. I feel that Dickson will slow down Northeast some but in the end Northeast will find a way to win.

Henry county @ rossview... Henry will beat them by 10. Rossview is overrated as we all knew.

Kenwood will get their 1st win at springfield by 10. Both teams are wild!!!

Kenwood and Springfield game will be 10 athletes on the court at all times, but i have a feeling springfield will pull it out in a great matchup...i bet the number 22 kid for Kenwood gets two dunks, and the number 33 or 30 something big guy for springfield gets one as well

Are Northeast and HC the only two undefeated teams in district play?

Did anyone see the maryville and maplewood game, maryville was good but beatable i think next year hc will go 15-0 with the team we have coming back, can't wait

i saw it, and i also was in attendance to the HC vs Maplewood game, which in my eyes henry county was clearly the better team and could've won by two or three touchdowns... I think HC could've given Maryville a run for their money, and might have even took it and that 60 game win streak.. But thinking one team is better than the other is irrelevant, you have to prove it..
