What i look at is who do you not want to play early with elimination on the line when the tournament comes? Who would it be?
-
Franklin is too big and i think they are very impressive, i see them winning this one by about ten.
-
I's sad to hear about htis, our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Hickmon county.
Franklin, Tennessee

GAMEDAY!
go rebels and bring home that gold ball to WILCO!!
I along with many others have doubted your defense (especially your small D-line) all year.
but i have come to realize that this rebel team has more heart than any team i have ever seen play.
yes you will be outweighed by an average of about 40-50 lbs by their O-line but you have overcome
bigger obstacles this year! Watch out for #48, #40, and the wild man JERVIS Oakland!! theyre coming with intensity that you've never seen before!!
-
Props to Columbia, heard they played well even with their inside presence out. Both teams are deep, wouldn't be suprised to see them both in the 'boro if chs doesn't beat them both haha just kiddin bout that but on a serious note, columbia has a squad, Franklin's loss should help them to not get too confident as they head towards district play. I still think Franklin is the best team around and this loss should help them continue to work hard and improve every day.

very much agreed HHSfootballfan22 BA is not a good team and they dont deserve to be in this state championship game...how they got here is beyond me. No team can win a championship when players are more worried about their statistics than their win-loss record. BA has no heart, and no core, and worst of all NO TEAMWORK!
-
well i have rooted against the rebels all season and now that it is down to it...go rebels!
i want to see a team from region 6-5a bring home the gold ball again.
I was at the CHS and BHS games vs franklin and im gonna tell ya the rebel D does not like to get scored on!!
i saw Jervis smashing his helmet into his head after the bruins scored a touchdown so im gonna say under his reign he wont let the white station offense put up too many points.
and btw rebel fans who are #40 and #48 they play like wild men and 48 is probably the most explosive tackler ive seen in a while so goodluck to white station and to the rebels

well im caught in a dilema here.
i have a strong and passionate dislike for both teams in this game.
is there any way that they could both lose in this one!?
that would be fantastic.

Once again the brentwood o line is gonna manhandle the franklin D-line with a very strong rushing attack.
and i believe franklin might have a few injuries with the d line right now....
brentwood you have a very good team but i think the cougars would have given franklin a better round three...the wrong team is playing on friday.
-
i see H'ville bringin it to them with the good ole wing t.
H'ville's oline is the best the rebels have seen all year, and they will break their dline.
and franklin rebs your quite the supporter lol.

Who gets the PT since Keagrise left Franklin? What will the effect be?
Most likely, and I am not for sure on this, but i would say a sophomore Debrell Mclemore will because he can really play. I have seen him play a few times and from what i can see is that he plays like his older brother allante but just a younger version with a lot of potential.
-
hunters lane will run over them with the wing t all night.
i believe webb has had problems in the past with wing t teams...hendersonville>cough cough
-
I still see franklin winning the district. Too deep and they play well together, just as everyone says, Franklin can have good nights from anyone on any night. Brentwood will be a tough test for the rebels and Centennial will be good just because of Kelly inside. Other than that i don't see anyone else really contending for the crown. The question is, how far can these teams go after the districts?
-
Well said CHS 2007.
CHS will win this game.
i believe in my cougars and they believe in themselves now.
we have the wind at our back and a very large sail.
BRING ON FRIDAY!!!

This year looks to be a competitive year for d11 who do you think will come out on top at the end of the year?
-
well im gonna take my cougars by 14.
i know that you probably think this is a biased prediction but here is my supporting info.
Centennial-
We have Chaz, who is probably the best QB in the region.
We also have a blazing fast backfield.
our O-line is finally gelling and putting it together it seems.
Drew Kelley is a pure athlete.
and our defense will play solid.
Franklin-
Offensive line looks to be flawed.
D-line is anything but big.
the secondary has nothing to speak of.
linebacking core struggles like a blind man in poker against the pass
and FRANKLIN DOESNT WANT IT BAD ENOUGH.
these kids have looked like they wanted their season to be over the past couple of weeks, only showing up late in both the clarksville and columbia games

Franklin by 10
Franklin by 14
Franklin wins...
Listen, Rebel Nation I know you are accustomed to blowing opposing teams out of the water
Hillsboro- Franklin jumped up by two TD's early
Ravenwood- Franklin absolutely destroyed RHS
McGavock- Same ole' story
Independence- 41 points...do I really need to say anything else
And when I say "blowing teams out of the water", I am talking about 95 yard kick-off return, 70+ yard runs, long-ball TDs. Brentwood brings a different caliber of total package defense to the table than Franklin has ever seen before. Brentwood brings a defense to the field that will take away those "game-breaking-plays". FHS has never tried to run that "inside trap" against a linebacker like Cole T. (#44). But I wonder what is going to happen when Franklin does not jump up to a multiple TD lead, will they be able to handle that? will FHS be able to fight for every yard, are Ford & Lee going to be able to "grind-out" every single yard? That dominant running game (that every FHS fan boasts) will be subject to a serious test Friday night, and that test is going to be fought in the trenches. Franklin's O-line is going to get bullied around all night long by Brentwood's powerful front-7. For the first time, the Franklin O-line is going to have to play a full-4-quarters, and they are going to play every quarter in misery. Brentwood is stronger and more-dicsiplined up-front, and BHS front line will wear Franklin's offense out. What is going to happen when the mighty Franklin Rebels get physically beaten all night and in every aspect of the ball-game???
Meanwhile Brentwood will deliver the same physical abuse against Franklin's Defense. I have read all year about this "imposing-D-line" of Franklin (Jervis, Wilson, Howerd, Shelton), I have heard how they are "salivating" about BHS's running game. We will see how much "salivating" this "rag-tag-duct-taped-D-line" will hold up against a O-Line full of robotic-soldiers.
The Lines will fall this weekend...Brentwood is going to run THROUGH Franklin's O-Line & D-Line. Welcome to "real-hard-nosed-football" Franklin
i will be rooting for brentwood all night, but i think GRIZZLY should cool it with calling out the players bc they dont need anymore motivation than they already have going into this game...especially their (near insane in the membrane) D-line.
but im taking the bruins in a "very long" game for Franklin none the less
be the first to put a blemish on that record B-Wood!!

I am a Maryville fan & we will get 100 wins, you heard it here first. I am lonley MHS82, I am here in a hotel, somewhere in Washington state, do you want to chat?
Anyway, bring on 5 A! All you trolls hear this... 100 wins.
well personally i would like to see Maryville play in the SEC of TN in region 6-5a!!
-franklin would give them the beating that they deserve
-brentwood would give them all they could handle
-and my CHS cougars would deffinitely give them a run for their money!
i see maryville coming out of this region at 8-2 at best
-
once again like i have stated before the rebel D-line will be overwhelmed with the size and strength of the Bruin O-line and brentwood will do what brentwood does best(pound it up the middle).our defense just couldnt stop it so i see franklin having a very long game.
Brentwood wins..no prediction

Listen bud, i know ur all proud of independence and all that, that's great i am proud of centennial beating franklin the other night too. But really to be honest, Franklin is not really playing well at all and let's face it, Franklin's talent is on another level compared to independence's and they beat you guys when they were starting to play horrible so if they get their step right watch out it could be a 30 point win for the rebels.
