Loretto wins the 4:30 Game against Zion Christian 78-32 Loretto Had Scoring From 12 Different Players . Clint Wright Lead the scoring with 26 . Colin Stout Added 8 Jacob Shelton Had 6 Zach McDonald Had 3 Josh Marks with 8 Sean Long With 2 Micah King with 2 Brady Kimbrel with 4 Steven Green in his first game back from injury Added 7 With one tray. ( good to have him back) Riley Earnest had 2 Lance Dooley had 8 Derek Boston Had 2 Loretto Will Play Mt. Pleasant Tomorrow at 7:30. Loretto Plays Zion Christian at. 4:30 and Mt Pleasant Plays Franklin Classical. Saturday the only game that know for sure is Loretto Plays Mt. Pleasant..

Marshall County is a very good team but I would hate to see them if they weren't shooting well. They shot very well. Loretto played a good game though. They just couldn't hang with the three ball.

Loretto Had a Great day of practice. I think that they are preparing for this one like no other game all season. I expect a hard fought battle tomorrow.

How do you think that this game will turn out. Marshall County has either blown people out or played them really close. I guess it all just depends on which team shows up

No excuses tonight. Loretto played a good game against a rapidly improving Page squad. Zack McDonald Lead the team with 19 including 2 trays. next was Clint Wright with 15 including 2 trays, 14 rbs, 8 assitsts, and 4 blocks. Brady Kimbrel also had 13 points with 2 trays. It was obvious that Coach Boston Must have worked the boys on Free Throws because they shot lights out from the charity strip. No more excuses. It is game time and I think that Loretto will be ready for Marshall County Friday Night. It will be a tough game but maybe it won't be a blow out like a certain Marshall Co. Giles County game I remember recently... They won't have to opp. to score 100 on us. I think that our District is very even this year and I must give GC credit. They intimidate teams just because of their past.

In my opinion, and this isn't just because I am from Loretto. I truly believe that Loretto should be 3-0 in the district going into this. They have suffered losses from the hickman's and both games they should have won. How do you all think that this Friday night battle is going to Turn out?

Sure, Loretto lost bye five. The game come down to the last minute but if loretto would have hit free throws they would have won it. They missed 14 free throws. The leading scores for the mustangs were Colin Stout with 21, he had an awesome game, and Clint Wright with 20, including three trays. Zack McDonald had a big night adding 15 with four trays. I think that Loretto showed some hope against Hickman. But as I said It all came down to the free throws.

I think that if Loretto will get in Transition and really work on running the floor. They will have a good shot. Clint Wright will get his points the way he always has... off Rebounds. I also think that The Loretto guards will come out firing. They are over due a good shooting game.

They also only beat page bye two. Page lost to Marshall bye 3. That is all I need to say after Marshall Slaughtering Giles.

I think that Loretto is way over due to just come out on fire. Their shooting has really struggled the last few games. I think that if they are shooting well they could contend with anybody. I think that if they stay in transition most of the game it really works to their advantage also. They are not a very deep team off the bench but they are in great shape. They can run the floor with seven players and run with teams subing five at a time. Like I said they just had a terrible night against East Hickman and on the other side, East played a heck of a game. I don't want to take anything away from them. They played very well. But I think that the Loss will Open Loretto's eyes and they will come out very motivated and ready to play at Hickman.

I agree. East Hickman has all the tools to be a very strong team in our district. I think that they need post players. They have shooters that are lights out but if they don't have an inside game then they wont have to open shots. I was very surprised bye them.. They are a first year school and I am very anxious to see them in the near future.

I agree with everyone about the district being close this year. Loretto just had a terrible shoting game and Zack McDonald was suspended one quarter for some reason. Loretto should have blew them out. I don't think that We are as good as Lewis County but I do know that we will be ready for them when they come to town. Giles is very down because the way i heard it Marshall could have scored 100 but they went into the stall. If i were the coach I would have had to get to the century mark just to spite Billy Holt. But Did I read it wrong or did Page play Marshall two points?? I thought that Page was Very down this year.... I don't know but if Loretto got this out of their system and they play the way they did against Springhill for the rest of the year. they could really surprise alot of people who were counting them out before the season even started. Loretto is very new and Improved and I think that they will make some serious noise in our District.

I think that Clint, Zack , Colin, Brady, And Lance will have a great game against East Hickman. I think that Lewis and Giles will be very tough matchups for Loretto but if Loretto can get a few District wins here early . I think that they can finish alot higher than expected in the tough District 10 AA

It is a real shame that there was statements like this. It is also a shame that Loretto is Really trying hard to change their image as a team. I mean they are wearing matching shirt and ties. My son hates it but I think that it helps alot , not just to bring the team together but to make them more respectable to the community. I think that Loretto basketball will really be looking up in the next few years and I think that finally they have a coach that may not know all that there is to no but he is going to be there not just for the team but for each player. I would like to appologize for whatever the comments were at the game. Just don't let the fans change your image of the new and improved Loretto basketball team.

yeah i didn't mean to make that many. my computer would never load to the next screen so i thought that it wasn't working so it made lots of them. Springhill didn't lose to just anybody. Loretto is a very improved team this year and i don't think that the team or the coach is given enough credit. I have a son who plays on the team and I really am starting to enjory watching them play

Loretto got a huge win tuesday night against springhill. They really surprised me. It was an all around good game. Springhill lead most of the game and in the fourth quarter. Loretto found their fire and pulled past them for the lead and never looked back. Loretto will be traveling to east hickman friday. Who do yall have in that one??
