I though they had been playing up for the last few years. I think they only have 335 students before the multiplyer hits.

Congrats to PC on a good run in the playoffs and kudos for playing the toughest schedule in the state this year
I would say that Pope John Paul played a bit of a tougher schedule than PC
-
a big shout out to Alcoa and their amazing run that may never be equaled in TN HS sports.
Maryville High School had the longest active football winning streak in America (74-0) until their loss in the 2008 Tennessee 4A State Championship Game.

FV-35
LC-21
That is about the same score I would predict.

Pearl Cohn wins this one by 14

CAK 24
Alcoa 14

Yep, CAK wins 24-14

Smith County up 7-0. Game over.
Thanks for the update. I will turn it over to The Big Bang Theory!

I am so glad that BA was able to shut up PJP's annoying announcer with his "that enough for a Knights one,two ,three, first down. Looks like he only got to say it a few times.

Congrat's on the only time you've EVER beaten LC.
But not the first time LC gets beat by a Class A school
-
Well, there's always a chance(assuming PC's guys can muster the courage to suit up). But it's lookin pretty grim for the PC guys right now. LC looks to be back up to snuff this year
LC-6 / PC-20 :roflol:

Congrats guys hope alcoa and cpa matchup for the state championship in both football and basketball ..
CPA beats Goodpasture in week 0 and you already want to put yourself against us in the state title game?

Compare Alcoa ACT's to Milan's..........simple Google search......you'll find Alcoa to be one of the top academic schools in the state.
I would love to be able to do a Google search on Alcoa's football team ACT scores vs Milan's football team ACT scores.
It probably wouldn't be pretty.

Milan's own Siegfried and Roy will be in Madison, TN to neuter the Cougars.
They will have to put on one heck of a magic show.
-
You have a very fiting name
The 22 represents how many water bottles he could full up during a 30 second timeout

A buddy of mine went to the PC/GP game Friday night and said that the Goodpasture QB looks just like Cam Newton on the field. He said when he snaps the ball and sees no receiver open, he runs a good 10 yards before he is stopped.
-
Yes they can be beat, if you don't beat yourself first.
So I guess Pearl-Cohn is undefeated in your mind since they beat themselves vs MBA, BGA, Maplewood,& Goodpasture.
Just man up and admit it, Goodpasture was the better team Friday night!
-
I will have to take GP in a close one. From what I have heard, if you stop GP's running game, they go to a passing game. I just don't see Milan shutting down both GP's running & passing game. Two very talented teams and both have a very good coaching staff. This should be one heck of a football game. Hopefully the internet radio feed don't cut in and out like the last couple of years!

In the playoffs the better team sometimes lose.....
Seems to me that Goodpastures defense was too much for Pearl-Cohn to handle. Two blocked punts, fumble recovery for a TD. I had Pearl-Cohn picked but I haven't seen either team play this year. How is Pearl-Cohn better than Goodpasture?

40-0, that's all!

Looks like SC got Snowballed
-
as my uncle pigman would say, "dirtydime aint got no sense."
and the explanation for that screen name sounds like something 3 jr. high cheerleaders came up with. what a tool.
I don't think snoball is much better. I would be rather called dirtydime any day. If you don't know what snoball means, maybe you should watch the movie clerks.
PEARL COHN BY 3!!

The wind is really starting to pick up here in Cookeville. Feels like a major tornado is getting ready to come through.

Are most private school coaches required to teach 5-6 classes a day along with coaching?
