Not that it matters but this was supposed to be North Greene's year. They had everyone back and were supposed to be right there with Unaka and Cloudland. You are correct in that both (Dugger & Tolley) had no time to prepare in their first season but if I remember correctly Hampton won 18 games last season and that was nothing short of a miracle but winning a Regional with a 6'2 girl is. Apples and oranges, we'll just agree to disagree and scoremore HV has more talent than any school yet they continually don't do a whole lot with it. Sorry, just the facts. All they do in Middle school is win, win, win and they comes the losing in High School. What gives ?

the talent issue maybe true in some eyes but most of the people on this site pre ,during,and post season picked hv at or near the bottom so if they were suppost to be at or near the bottom then how has their season been such a disapointment

Thats a good one. Should we reward someone for doing what was expected. How would it feel to walk into a situation with a ready made team and a 6'2 girl in the middle which in girls ball is the equilavent to 7'0. Anything less than a substate berth would have been deemed an unsuccessful season. Unaka was supposed to contend for the conference/district/region and disappointed, HV underachieved with all the talent they had, this was supposed to be Unicoi's year and Hampton was supposed to finish dead last and they were 2 minutes from going to the substate with what little talent they had. I guess that I'm a homer too but when I compare the teams and talent I see no comparison really but I understand the politics of the matter.

how do you figure that hv underachieved they only had a better year than expected and was better than the past 3 yrs. since they grad. just 1 senior
