The chiefs are struggling Offensively this year. We lost a good portion of our offense to graduation. We are very young and not very big. Defensively we are solid against the run. I think your passing attack will give us problems. Good luck chiefs play hard and see how things turn out. We will bring a medium size croud!

If the Bears get solid play from the QB position they will come away with a BIG victory! O'Dell is solid and will be a difference maker! Turnovers will be Key! If the Bears win the turnover battle they win the game. Bears 28 Rockwood 21 Go Bears!!!!!

Big Game tonight!! Chiefs and Bears square off at the CHOP HOUSE! I think the Bears will be brought back down to earth this week! Congratulations to the Bears in their big win last week! We have to continue to work on the offensive side of the ball. I think this week we will be more consistant and we have added some nice new wrinkles to our run game this week. The chiefs sure miss Bell on both sides of the ball. Dumdum, when can we expect him back? I think Owen will make a difference on offense and defense this week. I thought he came in last week and played well on both sides of the ball. The chiefs need to get off to a fast start tonight! Look out for that on sides kick from the Bears!! I think they want some payback from last year! I think the chiefs will win a close one 20-14!! Go chiefs!!!!

banjo, I like the way you think. I sure hope all those guys at Scott CO think the same way. Maybe they will overlook oh poor sequoyah. As far as your those scrimmages go, we scrimmaged you in the spring and played very uninspired. Not making excuses, we were moving a lot of kids into new positions. I think you will see a much better team than you saw in the spring. Chiefs in a close one 20-17! Go chiefs!!

Dumdum, I am not sure about Scott's offense. I heard they run the spread and trow a lot. Maybe someone can help? How is B.Bell? I hated to see that happen. How long is he going to be out? We will keep him in our prayers. He will be MISSED!!! Good luck Chiefs!

Heard the scrimmage went good for the Chiefs, can anybody give me some stats? I thought we looked much improved! I don't have any stats but here is a recap of what I saw. chiefs #1 vs Hurricances #1 - 4 TD -0 Chiefs #2 Def vs Hurricances #1 - 0TD - 1 TD Chiefs JV vs Hurricances JV - 0TD - 0TD Chiefs Freshmen Vs Hurricances Freshmen - 0TD - 1TD Defensively - We were solid! Bell had two BIG hits in backfield from LB, Whited had int and nice return, Helms,Peels,Workman,Arp soild up front, Stewart, Bell, SKS, looked good at LB. Off - Backs- Stewart, Black,Zitch ran the ball really hard with several nice runs. QB - Rogers overcame a early int to finish strong. 1 Dropped long pass (Should have been TD), 1 TD pass to Zitch for about 30yards. Coleman - directed nice long drive, no mistakes. O-Line - It is great to have SKS back, much improved Peels,Arp, SKS, Petit,Workman, Helms. Rec-Dropped Td pass, Good down field blocking. Only ran one series in passing formation (Result 1 TD drive) Good Job chiefs - Keep working hard everyday! We must still improve to be where we need to be. We got a chance to see a lot of reserve players get valuable playing time. Fr - McCain looked outstanding at DE. If we can build depth we have a chance to surprise a lot of teams!

The chiefs scrimmage East Hamilton Hurricanes today @ 5:00pm @ Sequoyah. I am looking forward to see how much the Chiefs have improved since the Heritage Scrimmage. I think people will be surprised at the improvement. Go Chiefs! Chiefs play Sweetwater in the second quarter of the Loudon Jamboree on Friday 8/14. Go Chiefs, lets pound those cats!!!

i don't think anybody knows the answer to that question. nobody understands it..... I agree! I guess we will just have to wait and see.

It is really quite on the Chiefs front! Where are you dumdum? We have had a couple of weeks to observe practice what do you all think? Yesterday - I thought Rogers had his best practice of the year. He made some really good reads in the Duce set.

Does WB have anymore scrimmages set for this fall? Good Luck this season!

With the new classifications where do all the district teams play when playoff time comes. I know the Chiefs are 4-A. How do they determine which temas qualify for the playoffs?

The Heritage and Sequoyah Scrimmage for 7/31 has been cancelled. Are they going to re-schedule it?

How was practice today! Wed afternoon practice was the best practice this year. Were we able to build on that? Go Chiefs!

The Chiefs travel to Heritage on Friday July 31st. Does anyone know what time? It should be a good test for the Chiefs! I have saw a lot of improvement from Monday to Today. We still have a lot of work to do but some kids are stepping up! Cody Stewart has impressed so far and looks to be ready to be a major factor both on offense and defense! Go Chiefs keep up the good work!

How is H. Heights in Football? Their baseball program was not competitive this spring! Heritage will be a good test. Today - Morning practice had a slow pace, a lot of new faces learning what to do. Hopefully, this afternoon the intensity will pick up. The intensity was very low at the 7 on 7 at MC. Hopefully, in time we will see a great improvement in the intensity level once everyone gets more comfortable and understands what is expected.
