  1. You people from Cosby are full of yourselves, it was awful the way the players from Cawsby acted as weell as their coaches language at times. I was not at the game but many of the Grainger parents that were walking around the sidelines heard first hand the language of your coaches and players. I agree there is some bad words said from any most sidelines in East Tn on any given Friday night but coaches from other teams should no be degrading players from other teams.

Skylar McBee is one of the class acts in the entire state ,and you are correct he is one of the best athletes on the field every friday night no matter who the teams are, that are playing. He may not always win but he is always the coaches number one priority to stop when a team plays Grainger no matter what sport it is.

And for the quote of him not playing defense , well lets just say that Grainger just has enough athletes for him to get a few breaks on defense , is there anything wrong with that?

Old 24Eagle it sounds like to me that you are just one of those punks that like to start stuff!!!!

I bet you never even played a down of football, and if you did you are probably jealous because you stunk and never got to play. haha lol

  2. We how did this become an argument on which region is better or domiant?

Come guys start your own board, I was trying to start a lboard for Grainger Grizzlies , it is for there fans please, who cares what you all think, just to be honest or what those teams did 5 years ago .

Anyways Grainger lost 41-21 to Cherokee friday night, some promising hope in the first half had some good football plays early.

McBee looked good but could make some better decisions, some good things from a few recievers. but they have to find a go to guy at RB and Tackle better on D.

They have some tough kids but very young in some areas prediction 6-4 possible , hopefully better, good luck guys!!

  3. Even thought I doubted you at the biginning a little , you all proved that Rutledge baseball is a tradition, that is a tradition of winning , good job on getting second after all the talk of losing those seniors last year, now win that tourney, can't wait to see what the year of the Grizzly brings next year, bgut for now do Rutledge proud and hammer the Gap on Sat. Good Luck!!!!

  4. Rutledge lost to Pigeon on Tue 7-4 good game just a few miscues buy the Pioneers or outcome could have been different!!!

    Pigeon Forge 1st

    Rutledge 2nd

Both will host district beginning Thursday

  5. Yeah heres my thoughts G-P was right there for 5 innins but then the power of the future Grizzlies came to life, Rutledge wins 11-5, THE OLE PIONEERS ARE 7-0 IN THE DISTRICT, looks like a showdown next Mon and Tued for the District Championship with Pigeon Forge although the pIONEERS DO STILL HAVE A MAKEUP GAME WITH cUMBERLAND gAP SCHEDULED

  6. Well I think all 3 players should have been thrown out of the game as well as the head Coach of the Gap bot the assiatant probably should not have been. As I seen it the Rutledge team was pretty classy for the most part but everyone has their own little version I guess, Oh and by the way I think the ole boys from Rutledge can handle theirselves so if your feelin froggy you might ought to stay in someones pocket , no need in anyone getting hurt now, it was just a good game that had a little physicalness about it that day I dont think any Rutledge people are upset, REMEMBER THESE ARE KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Bigtime you are correct I have the same questions, but those guys are gone now and hoping to have good college careers, not taking anything away from them but you got to replace guys every year , it was just abnormally more this past year, I mean the year before it was Nicley and Langly to replace who are both starters in college now, well anyways The Pioneer got their second win of the season today beating Claiborne 15-3 , who is the Frost kid looks like he pitched well.

We will find out some weeknesses or strengths tonight when the pioneers travel to Jeff Co. to face Jefferson at 5 and Cocke Co. at 730 in the Hardball classic , I am sure the level of competition will step up with them being a 3A school!!!
