The Collinwood Trojanettes will take the court under a new coach this fall ,with the boys coach taking the reins in the summer.Does anyone know who the frontrunner for the job is ? With all the circus that has went on last year , i guess we know who got the last laugh. I pity the coach that gets this team, having to cater to the demands of one average kid that wants to be the star. Cant figure out why no one has got on here about it yet.

Well until all privates are put into a class of their own[ which they should be] there always will be a debate just look at who is at state every year in all the sports, it aint no coincedent its not fair to the little guys that work hard to get there and face a private that should be in a higher class or one of their of their own Dont give me the student population as one of the facts that is total BS

The expenses for a broadcast are relatively limited. You should find some sponsors in Collinwood and approach the radio station with a proposal to broadcast the game. I'm sure they would sell you the time. I agree with you that they should do the games of their own accord, and a professionally done proposal might show them that it would be worth their time.
i dont know why anyone in cwood would want to advertise on the station you cant even pick it up in cwood plus i hope most ball fans will be there supporting them in person am i wrong or is this the fartherist they have made it in 40 years

A possible Cornersville-Forrest match-up in the sub-state. If that happens, then there won't even be standing room in the gym.
Cornersville will most likely be traveling for their sub- state game GOING TO BE A 12A SWEEP

wrong cant fnd much bad about thompson the smith kid come up with the ball at half court thompson was at the freethrow line smith dribbled all the way down instead off passing the ball ahead alot off c wood fans were talking about it smith was very selfish in that instance

10th great??? what grade are you in?? a lot of it has to do with other people getting the word out for him [coaches parents,ect] I dont think that the Vandy coaches looked at the box scores in the Tennessean and said we have to have this kid , send him a letter there is 1000 s of kids in tennessee playing ball he is probably middle or little over in the pack

the rice kid from wayne co. is the best ball player around and the kids a 10th grader if yall just new what all letters he has gotten from colleges as a 10th grader in basketball and football yall would be amazed
Have you saw the letters?? Don't believe it until you do.He is not the best in d12 or maybe not in the top 5 The Gobbell kid from collinwood is a better all around player than Rice He can't understand the concept of team ball , passing, being a team player good shooter but not the best

I was wrong !!!! hurts to say but I was!! From what everyone has said the Haddocks girl carried the team as she did all season She will be a great high school player if she continues to improve

Collinwood Trojans completed the sweep of district 12A with a win over a tough Summertown team.AWESOME game its sad that someone had to lose probably the best game I've saw all year Congrates to all distict honors and to MVP Tyler Thompson

What coach has done the best job in his or her district. David Byrd would have my vote after getting his 600 win and taking 1st in district 12a

Collinwood does good when the first five are on the floor , if Rich ever gets in foul trouble it will be tough.She played awesome last night Jones stayed covered up most of the night Rich made 4 three's Thats right 4 she probably hasn't shot four all year before last nite I don't think she missed one .. I think she surprised herself

Livingston Middle School won 3-A last year but their 8th grade class has grown and have been moved up to 4-A. So LMS girls will not be defending the 3-A title.. Good luck to ???? 4-A will be tough as we played Macon Co. last night and lost to them by 10 at their place. Macon will be a tough out as they are undefeated and have 9 8th graders and are 7-8 deep and very experienced with good guard and post play. They seem to stay fresh for four qtrs. . Avery Trace in 4-A will be a tough out as well. They have fairly good size down low with one of the best post players the tourney will see in #23 Goolsby. Just watch her. The kid can score and play D. They have good guard play, the point is very fast. Avery Trace is 8th grade heavy as well. LMS will have to play lights out to win as they are not as big as either of the two mentioned. They have speed and depth..but lots of youth. Only 2 8th graders. LMS can play with alot of teams, but they really will need to eliminate mistakes to win. As for the rest of the 4-A field, I have no idea. I do know that either of these three teams are capable of winning it all with Macon probably the better of the three night in and night out.

Collinwood pulls it out.Great game Tyler was awesome tonite everyone played team ball very few turnovers.. Didn't look like the same Summertown team that came to Collinwood. Hate the gym , so many Summertown fans on the visitors side some of Cwood had to stand up Tacky

What do you know about the Wayne Co teams? We (USJ) drew Waynesboro first round which is a tough first draw. They beat us in summer camp, but that was a eternity ago. USJ is 20-2 so far this year, but I am not so sure the competition level has been that great in all cases. One starter got hurt last week and is probably out for the season, so that hurts the depth level. We played Pin Oak (won by 4) and Scotts Hill (big) the first two games of the year. That would be the only common opponents that I would think we might have had.
collinwood and wayne co are pretty evenly matched Collinwood won 3 out of 4 but all games were close,overtime in 2 or3 Collinwood relies on 2 players to score all of their points ,they have not had alot of compitetion besides wayne co Play tough man and get back quick on defense and they are very beatable.shoot maybe 3or 4 outside shots a game. Wayne Co. continues to get better they play team ball and can tear you up on the 3 if you let them I woulldn't worry about C'wood you'll probably not see them

CAN ANYONE GIVE SOME INSIGHT ON SOME OF THE TEAMS THAT ARE PLAYING? I have heard alittle about the 2 wayne co teams that are in it what about the teams they are facing, USJ and Hickman co. WHO is the defending champs and who is the favorite to win????

The kitty-kats are turning on each other. Everyone can coach better than the ones on the sideline.I haven't saw anything wrong with Franks's job He probably handled it better than most considering what is going on.just ask yourself Would Bird let this go on I don't think so. MY 2 CENTS WORTH AGAIN...... Last night i saw something thats about to change everything for w/c. I saw the start of a (TEAM) FOR ALL YOU NAY SAYERS OUT THERE!!!! 1st- Tyler rice thru the ball to everyone except the coach's on the bench! 2nd. The hussle out of Tyler Allen is an example for all players, and some of the moves he makes while scoring breaks my ankles just sitting in the stands. 3rd. If i could bottle Austin Rice's hands, I could get rich. 4th. Tyler Dixon gets better and better and if they will continue to look for him when he is open, he'll have a thirty point game. 5th- Micah Brantley had a great game goin until he injured his ankle in the first half. 6th- Joel Barnett's basketball smarts and hussle out on the court means he is due his thirty point game. 7th-Steven Bruce Beckham, Dillon Keating, Caleb Keating, Eric Staggs, and Hagen Edwards all had points on the board last night and just wait until those five are in double digits every game. So if you add up all the points and tyler rice's 25+ points a game, you are looking to beat a score of .....................ALWAYS DREAM BIG!!!!! /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> BUT Tyler Rice's "OTHER 5% DEFENSE" is still better than most peoples 100% defense!!!!!

everyone would love to be able to score a lot of points but when you lose the other guys on the team and they resent you cause your a ballhog [not that good ] you will never make out of this district I know a parent of one of wc girls that hasn't watched a whole boys game cause it is embarassing If i was his parent i'd be crawling under the bleachers after about 50 shots[with 25 to go ]
