  1. well rested has nothing to do with it. DRAGOON LOST THE REGION CHAMPIONSHIP(yet again). he does not want to win. if he did he would have called a timeout with 15 seconds in the 4th and called a play. better yet he could have changed the D. box and 1 or something.

year after year dragoons basketball I.Q gets worst and worst and it shows. how long is it gonna take to get him and his family away from the basketball court? he will always be second best and NEVER A WINNER. he should take some lessons from temples first year head coach.

Such is the life of a bitter ex-player who never amounted to anything. your parents would be very ashamed of you.

  2. Considering that CSAS did not get the normal effort out of its guard play(Cobb 8, McKoy 5, and Hampton wasn't at his best), the win against Grace was even more impressive. Say what you want about Ball, he played like a man last night. Cousin and Foster were huge off the bench. Cousin made some huge shots and Foster had some big points and defensive play.

  3. CSAS and Grace played their hearts out. It was a great high school game and neither deserved to go home. It is ashamed that Grace put themselves in that situation, but CSAS proved themselves worthy with the hard fought win. I think you will see CSAS take it to another level now that they have made it past that obstacle.

  4. No problem...glad to see another person staying true to temple.... and of course they won't take you up on your offer....they want to be able to continue posting....getting another name would be such a hassle... /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

I am just glad to see that all the Temple fans have come out of hiding. They finally won a meaningful game and now they want to talk junk. I am just glad I have a little entertainment to get through the day now. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

  5. You need to give this web site up CSAS will lose to grace which everyone beside CSAS fan knows lost to Temple,so your screen name says it all "ghost" or is that Boast you guys are finish for this year and next year Temple will take it all the way to the big house where you guy might not even make it out of the region.I 'll make a beat with you I will not post on this site anymore if CSAS beat Grace. However;if Grace beat CSAS your done on this site. How much do you believe in your team, and I am not even a Grace fan I,m a TTA fan.

/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Temple won't do anything this year or next year. THey will make it to sub-state and lose at Pickett. Next year they won't do anything...unless they get some recruits. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  6. I'd like to know how CSAS (A self-proclaimed lock to make it to state) only beats South Pittsburg (A team that lost to David Brained) by 14 points? You CSAS people may not want to be too cocky going into region. There are 3 teams from the good district in the region that can beat you.

Congrats to Brian Ball for getting MVP. Maybe your critics will shut up now.

South Pitt played for the first time all year with all of their players last Tuesday at CSAS. So they never played with everyone against anyone in 5A. They are tough when they are allowed to play physical, and they were last night. They are big and long, and with Witherspoon they are much better. CSAS only made one three pointer and won by 14. Championship games are tough, just ask Grace... so I would think it was a pretty good win. It is all about surviving and advancing fron this point on, no style points count. Last year was Temple's year... This year it is CSAS's turn.

  7. How do you have a 6'8'' and 6'10'' kid and lose to anyone in Chattanooga? That is unbelievable. They just lost to Temple, who should have lost to 21st Century. Grace is playing well... Grace is peaking at the right time!? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> THey have lost to Temple and East Ridge in the last week, not exactly playing their best ball if you ask me. CSAS will put them out of their misery on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will be even more out of sink if they let someone play extended minutes who these guys are not used to playing with. Grace does not score enough to beat CSAS. They only scored 54 points against an unathletic Temple team who played man the whole game! Get outta here! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />

  8. CSAS will lose to Temple if they play them again by 8 to 10 pts. They lost the last game they had a great REF> that help them out;I hope you guys paid him well for TSSAA is looking at that win very closely.

I think he got some popcorn and a coke. You would know about TSSAA looking into things over there at Temple! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Considering that Temple should have lost to 21st Century, I would not start guaranteeing victories against CSAS.

  9. Grace is peaking at the right time and watch for them to make it to the state tournament at least, if not win it all. I have heard that Fuquan can play in the region, with or with out him, Grace wins the region by double digits or more every game.

CSAS has 5 Fuquans so that doesn't make a difference. It will be a different feeling for this kid when he steps on to the floor in a meaningful game for the first time in over a year. He hasn't played anyone like CSAS's guards maybe ever. If CSAS can limit second chance opportunities, they win the region. I think the best has yet to come from the patriots

  10. When I say that Cook is by far the best point guard. I mean by far. He runs his team to perfection each and every night I have seen them play this year. He is very unselfish with the ball and knows when to make the right passes. Jeremy Sexton and Brandon Herman are great player but are consider shooting guards in todays game. I was at the Hixson vs. Chatt Christian game early in the season and Cook took control of the game in the 4th quater when his team really needed him. He also has a good teammate Mario Hill who everyone should be looking out for.

Dontay Hampton is the best pg.

  11. while both teams have gotten better, i think grace is the team that is most improved out of the two. Temple had a lead on CSAS the other night and let that go. that was also a moral defeat for them. Temple can't let sexton do all of the scoring and then have their other plays be "on" one night and "off" the next. too inconsistent. Grace has been playing much better as a whole. They are getting great momentum for another trip to MTSU.

    Grace by 10

PS- Is the game at the high school gym or are they moving it to McGilvary (sp?)

There is no need to move it to the college gym because Temple no longer has many fans.

  12. Grace students have been pretty disrespectful to Temple in the past, which seems to have been a rallying cry for Temple students to try and fight back a little.

Temple dismisses school (K5 - 12) for those who want a bus ride to the state championship games and the kids all sit together.

But you're right, there is a drop off in fan support at Temple this year. My feeling is that if the administration would attempt to help the kids organize themselves with a pep club or something they could turn it around.

Maybe people just jumped off the bandwagon.
