Hey snoball....is this the week you all go back and play Mayfield. I wish you all had a them at home.

 

You might want to ask their coach how well he knows those refs. A neighboring county supplies some of them.

 

Mayfield was the team that redshirted 6th and 7th graders in all sports many years ago. You could play your senior year if you turned 20 after the season started. That was done away with by the state. We used to see their fresnman team bus show up followed by a half doxen players who drove to the game.

 

You better have a good team or be way ahead up there. They have a home field victory margin of about 96% wins.....not to say they cheat...they just make sure they have all the breaks. They will call holding more than any place you go........good luck

Very good game both ways congrats TC. If the Tigers hadn't of struggled early and at the end it most like would've been the other way around, but thats why they play the whole game goodluck next week TC an Macon County Tigers!!!!!!

We gotta agree we do have some real nice gyms here in Tennessee. What do yall think some of the worst ones are? I dont have an opinion on this ill stay neutural just want to see some what yall think of some of the best and worst places to watch a good basketball game in the mid state. Peace!

Mark Shrum former player and coach @ Macon Co. H. S. passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer. Mark was also a standout as a MLB @ TTU in the mid-70's.

 

Don't know anything about any of the arrangements for his funeral. Would appreciate someone in the know that could pass along any information.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, November 22, at 1 p.m. from the Macon County High School Gym with Elder Terry Hagan officiating. Interment will follow in the Akersville Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at the Alexander Funeral Home, Friday 12 noon – 9 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. - 9 p.m., and Sunday at the Macon County High School Gym from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Family request memorials in the form of donations be made to the “Mark Shrum Memorial Fund”.

38-16 final. Coach Creasy put the cheerleaders in at 38-3. WHH had about 6-7 personal fouls. Took the Jackets about a quarter to get back up to game speed, after being off for a week. WHH are the dirtiest bunch of losers i ever saw. At one point they had a player come off the bench and make a tackle...WTF!!!

I was at the game shady I thought the jackets played as well as any team could. I didnt see a play that a player tacklin another player I prolly wasnt payin but good game tc and good luck next week

okpaul you need to get a life an get off Coach Goolsby's back. I just want to know why you hate him so much? You have been on his back before the season even started you need to go find a new team or something cause if you cant support your team through the thick and the thin than you are no more than a band-wagoner. You make a bad example of all macon county fans and sports. Goodluck to the Tigers in every sport they ever play the most of us support you 110% no matter what! Goodluck to TC friday night i'll prolly make the trip down there to watch the game an pay $8 for my offical tssaa ticket!

I just read everthing on that webpage, and that's five minutes of my life that I can't get back.

The T$$AA is a joke. They add more playoff games, and they still up the ticket price? We must be having to pay for their legal defense against BA. $8.00 for admission to a high school football game is ridiculous. When Childress was on the radio the other day, part of a question asked if the Z Plan was monetarily motivated, and he completely dodged that part of the question. He didn't even agknowledge it. It sounds like there are some real winners running this state's high school athletics. They screw up the playoffs, and charge us for their overtime hours required to fix their screwups and to pay their lawyers. What a CROCK.

 

Preach it brother! I would love to know the qualifications to work at tssaa.

I dont think either team is really to blame here. It was all the refs in the this one they let it go way to far and I think personally the tssaa should really look into this group.
