I was just reading over Knoxville News Senseless from Saturday and saw a headline reading "Central hammers the rebels." Maybe they can just save themselves some time and go ahead and print the same headline for this Saturday's paper.

Did you see that paper at the same place where you bought your Central 2003 Region Champs and Central 2003 State Champions shirts?

I was just curious.  That "Craig" system you had ... did you stick with the Craig speakers?  Did you possibly upgrade to a set of Kraco 6x9's?  Or did you go all the way and stick in a 4 speaker K-Mart "Mindblower" system, with the little switch you could flip on for more power?

Knowing STARS it was probably the *sparkomatic* power booster wif dem Jensen speakers. Ifin you want it I still got my ole Craig *powerplay* eight track deck put away.

Some people must have a case of *sour grapes* with Chatt. Central. I saw absolute class out of their team as well as their fans. Best of luck in the future to this program. As for the game, it was a hard fought game on both sides. Was it pretty? No, but a win is a win and the Rebs live to fight another day. A.B. made some of the toughest runs I have seen from him this year. Chris McCord, what else can you say? He is simply money when the pressure is on, a warrior. The offensive line opened the holes for them when they needed the big plays as we have all come to expect. Did anyone doubt that Chris was gonna bust off a big one when he got another chance after the fumble? It looked as if Maryville could have passed on them with the way Central was jamming the line of scrimmage but CQ made the right calls to get the victory and thats the bottom line. The defense only gave up one long drive for a score, FG. The TD drive was on a short field after a missed onside kick. They bent but didnt break. With more growth and experience I look for the defense to be more dominent. I dont know where I would rank Chatt. Central on the teams Maryville has played this year. I think Morristown West was by far the best defense and Knox Central the best offense. The effort given by the Rebels with all the injuries this year has been remarkable. Go Rebs!

Morristown West is on the other side of the brackets from Maryville, Cleveland and Knox Central.

Any word on Chris yet? It was pretty bad as the fans could see. Prayers going out to Chris tonight as well as Ryan. This group of young men never cease to amaze me. One obstacle after another and they seem to circle the wagons and play even harder, if that is possible.

Powell will fix all their problems tonight against maryville. I look for a close game early, but Powell will pull away in the first quarter - Final: Panthers - 42, rebbies - 13.

Halls absolutely hammers Clinton. Not only will Clinton not win a game this year, they won't score a point for the remainder of the year. I'd seriously consider forfeiting the rest of them.
