I was there Wednesday, but could not make it last night.

who made the district team and conference team.... and the first time in how many years that erwin hasnt won district....

That is ALOT of K's. Very impressive! Finally got to see her play this year. Sure makes it easy on the defense! How many games total has she played in H.S.?

Prior to this year, her stats as follows: Wins 67,losses7,innings pitched 497,strike outs 785,batters faced 1917, hits allowed 211, runs allowed 65, Earned runs 25,Base on balls/HBP 47 Batting Avg against 0.113, ERA 0.352, shut outs 44, this is the stats for her freshman and sophmore year. Still working on Junior year will update as soon as possible.

Yeah you're right. Logan never played any with us this year although he committed at the beginning of the season. He just never would show up. Last I heard he was playing post for God's Chosen Few.

from what i hear that is a pretty good team...

The Knoxville Panthers will field 1 team this year, 17u. They have not played yet but all indications are that they will be VERY strong. Roster includes Dustin Clarke (Avery, NC)- 2010 Western Highlands Conference Player of the year, Cory Billingsly (Sweetwater HS)- 2010 District MVP, Dylan Ward (Hampton HS)- 2009 District MVP, Nathaniel Hughes (Hampton HS)- 2010 District MVP, Logan Lyle (Unicoi County)- All-District, Skyler Brown (Seymour HS)- All-District and All-County, Chase Buckner (Union County HS)- All- District, Darius Gallaher (Harriman HS)- 2010 state tournament participant, Damien Edwards (Watauga HS, NC)- All-District, Jason Steele (Johnson County HS)- All-District and scoring/rebounding leader in upper eat Tennessee.

 

5 of these players topped 1000 points in their junior season.

 

They are in need of an experienced coach. We had 2 excellent coaches lined up but both have decided to return to school- one for his masters and the other entered medical school.

WHY DON,T WE HAVE A DRUG TESTING POLICY IN PLACE? WE HEAR ALL THE TIME ABOUT OTHER SCHOOLS KIDS BEING CALLED UP FOR A SCREEN . WHETHER IT BE RANDOM OR SUSPICION LET,S GET WITH THE PROGRAM. IT BRING,S PRIDE TO YOUR TEAM,SELF CONFIDENCE,AND UNITY.

LET,S CALL OUR SCHOOL BOARD AND TELL THEM WE WANT OUR DRUG TESTING POLICY BACK! THIS IS CRITICAL TO AN ATHLETIC PROGRAM. WE HAVE STUDENT ATHLETES THAT WORK THERE TAIL OFF AND STAY STRAIGHT AND REALLY CARE ,AND THEN YOU HAVE SOME THAT DON,T AND I, SURE THIS IS EVERYWHERE. unicoi has beat johnson county twice already. any thoughts on the district championship game tuesday night??

slim, any news on make up dates for the Elizabethton @ Unicoi Co. and Happy Valley @ Johnson Co. games from 2/3? I know Sullivan North @ Chuckey Doak is being made up tonight.

yeah unicoi is not everything theyre cracked up to be. them beating us at our place earlier in the season was a fluke HV is the real deal. beating erwin and etown right in a row ought to make a statement to the rest of the conference.

What I saw was the free throws is what beat Unicoi.... Take your win and enjoy it cause I dont see it happening again.... Dont get me wrong both teams are good.... It will just be hard to beat Unicoi twice....

For most of the summer the ones that played most of the time were....Ward and Hughes, Logan Lyle, Austin Harrell, Matthew Potter, Jason Steele, Matthew Harmon(Sullivan Central), and Ryan Mitchell.

That sounds like a good team....

First of all to clear things up, Hunter, Bently, Bowers and possibly Peters(never saw him there) played with City Market the summer before last when Ward and Hughes were just coming out of the 8th grade. This past summer's team only consisted of to be sophomores. Jerry White at Hampton is the head coach but does not do all of the coaching anymore. Mike Matheson does most of it now and does a good job from what I have seen.

Who all did play with the City Market team....

why are u talking... we beat you at camp by 20 and we only had 2 good players when we get our full team back we will beat you by 30 or more and then we will shut everybody up and beat unicoi they lost everyone but miller you guys might beat them south greene will be our biggest challege

Well, there is 6 more players on the field that are just as good or they wouldn't be out there... This is a good team just dont see how you could just pick 3 players....

WHO IS KIM PLAYING FOR DONT KNOW ANY REAL GOLD TEAMS IN KNOX. HEARD THE WOODS KID & HENSLEY KID & TREADWAY KID FROM UCHS WAS REAL BALL PLAYERS?

I have got to watch some of UCHS play and it looks like to me that you left out more good ball players from that team....
