As I watched the game at Wilson Central the other night it didn't look like we played that bad. We had maybe 2-3 errors in field. Our sticks just flat out werent there. PItching wise Watson gave up 0 runs 2 innings Pack gave up 6 runs 2 innings like 3-4 were earned. Roberson gave up 0 runs 1 inning as far as the top 3 goes. If We don't have 2 bad innings then it's a close ballgame.
appreciate the blame. yeah i'll take it

if your gonna talk crap go start your own topic. don't come into a siegel topic and start talking crap when you don't know anything about us. it won't be 15-0 again mr. farragut. keep your opinions to yourself cuz nobody wants to hear them!

MacDonald did. But, he and Welchance split time. I really don't think it'll be decided until March 9. Good competition makes everyone better!
very true statement southpaw. competition and knowing you have a chance to start intensifies everything and brings out the best or sometimes worst in players....

I think we'll have better success finding a catcher than you will finding a verb that agrees with your noun!
who started the scrimage at catcher southpaw?

you know blackman....they probably were

I wouldn't call it a big surprise but Pack threw a nice third strike hook to get Townes looking. That'll come in handy down the road during those big district games. Our Sophomore pitchers did a good job Saturday as well and should be able to help out when we're deep in a tournament. I thought Dove had a great game at the plate with 3 or 4 hits and how about John King on the hill...fanned three straight. I even saw Bartlett out there throwing peas...is there anything this guy can't do?
Go Stars!
change up not hook

sims started cuz shaffer's arm was sore. and the outfield will sort itself out. don't worry

siegel just talks more...they have several players that post and i dont know of any RIVERDALE players that post say they are not going to toot their own horn and i try and stay somewhat objective lol I think we are going to be really good and we will challenge for the top spot we have 2 very good pitchers and 7 returning hitters in the line up
riverdaleman your the most bias person on this whole board. i havent seen a post of yours where you don't put riverdale in there in some sort of positive manner or capitalize riverdale so everybody has to see it. don't condemn the siegel players when your talking it up just as much as they are!

who makes it for the league?
-
ahhhh yes. 7aaa baseball is always a fun thing to watch. I see Siegel is on top of the polls? Seems they have a good bullpen, and a solid line up. Who will be thier top 2-3 pitchers?
watson will be number 1 but from there it's fair game

if carter got co pitcher of the year he did not share it with Sonny...Sonny was in 9AAA
excuse me he won district and region pitcher of the year last year
-
houston will very good, 3 d 1 signees, danile palo/ mtsu, cody hudson/ austin peay, charles debella/uab
what positions do they play?
-
What was carter watsons record last year? And why didn't he pitch against Farragut?
carter won co-pitcher of the year last year for district 7AAA only to tie with sonny gray who is now at vanderbilt and was drafted in the mlb draft last year. carter didn't pitch against farragut because siegel had a district game that monday (they played on a saturday) in which he had to pitch. last year he went 7-1 with a 1.7 era and 88 k's in 57 innings (1.54 k's/inning). not to mention he was 2nd team all state. watson did not have anywhere near the offense last season like farragut had nor the defense behind him. with farragut's offense, my grandma could get 5 wins in a season!!

how does bearden look? germantown houston?

i don't know about dodd, but robinson, roberson, and duvall are coming very well. robinson and roberson are doing well on the rehab programs that they are on and hope to be ready to go by early season. duvall is on a rehab program too for his arm and believes he is going to be ready to play by the start of the season
