  1. i understand wut your saying and they arent terrible

they lost 15 senoirs last year. they are redeveloping

i promise u by the 2011 season beech will be contending for state titles

they have players from kaos 94 coming up, who recentally won state

plus 10 of the freshman they have, 4 of which start varsity, have been together as a team for 4 yrs

not to mention they were ranked 3rd in the nation in 7th grade while thier 6th grade team(freshman next year) were 1st in the nation for 3 yrs

but actually beech had a really tough schedule this year

    im excited about the future

Half of the scheduled teams have losing records. and 2011 is far away and beech will not be a state contender period.

  2. ok considering hayden has made maybe 20 saves all yrjosh makes that many a game

cause Beech has no Defense. Thats why they are terrible. when you have 3 shutouts all year with a weak schedule like Beech does you dont deserve it. Hayden is playing in college. Lavergne's keeper has 4-5 shutouts in a row. Hayden has 4 GA in District Lavergne has 8. Martin on the other hand has 10. I'm just saying whichever keeper wins tonight should receive that honor but anyways congrats to Josh.

  3. Uh oh, you caught me, I am seriously dumb./tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Of course you need backups silly, I'm just saying that in a sport such as tennis, a team doesn't have to be stacked with stud backups to be considered good. Someone please tell me how I am wrong once again.

I can totally understand what your saying. A team needs backups but they dont have to be amazing. since tennis is a no contact sport with few injuries you do not need backups at all but its safe to have just incase. Leave hville alone hes not seriously dumb

  4. ok then would u like to tell me who will win them

and we will see wut happens tomorrow night

I think MVP is up for grabs

GK wise... i just dont see how josh martin woould get it. I think he has 3 shutouts all year. Im not saying hes bad but he has let in many goals in the district. I believe it should go to Lavergne Mt Juliet or Hvilles keeper. All three have atleast 6 or 7 shutouts. just because martin makes 10 saves a game cdoesnt mean hes the best. It means hes Defense isnt too great. Dont get me wrong, hes a good keeper/guy but not #1.

    Hville 4 Lavergne 1

  5. Knightman and Hvillefootball, you two have soo much confidence in a hendersonville team that got murdered 6-2 to bearden. Have you all beaten any top notch teams to consider yourself even capable of competing in the AAA state tournament? Don't get me wrong you make good excuses for losing to bearden and you can beat the below par teams, but when you play good teams whats going to be your excuse then?

They did almost beat Brentwood and not to mention beat Knox Cath. and tied CAK. They're not doing bad just let their play do the talking. If they're truely a good team they will show it hear shortly

  6. La Vergne 2

    Hendersonville 1

Tournament MVP: Austin Yates of La Vergne

District Goal Keeper of the Year: Josh Martin of Beech

Anyone know who is on the All District Team???

    haha,

    No,

    No,

    and no.

I believe the team gets announced at the end of the finals on Thursday.

  7. While the out come of the Brentwood vs JP II, if it were to every occur, would be shrouded in a mist of uncertainty; the real question here is how pope has managed to stay afloat with out the player of past times Aaron Odum. Even though Aaron lacked in size he made up this obvious weakness with his integrity, composure, and love of the game and his team mates. Aaron was truly an asset to the pope team. Aaron can be compared to the head of the snake; he commanded the field and the way he consolidated the team into one working force is nothing less than remarkable. He kept heads high in the locker room when the team was faced with tribulations by applying a quick, non-sexual grab of his teammates bottom. Aaron easily had as much spirit as Trent Dixon of Hendersonville and in all honesty comparing him to such a person is an extreme understatement and a blemish on Aaron's immaculate reputation. In conclusion Aaron was the heart, soul, and ######s of the team and without him pope will not win a game from now on. MARK MY WORDS, IT WILL HAPPEN.

You are my hero. ALL HAIL the great ODUM! We are not worthy

  8. well obviously jp2 is better, because they take the best players from hendersonville, not to mention station camp, gallatin, beech, pretty much all sumner county. why shouldn't they be undefeated.

Huh?!?!? You can take the top players from each sumner county team and they would beat JP2. Its not that they have good players but they play well together. Honestly... Maddox is the only one with great skill. However they play well together not because they have every top player in SC. Stay on topic. Brentwood would win.

  9. Does anyone know the score of the Hville/Gallatin game?

    Hendersonville 3 Gallatin 1

and since there are 7 teams the first seed (Hendersonville) gets a bye then #2 vs #7, #3 vs #6, #4 vs #5. I think the games are at Hendersonville this year.

  10. Brentwood has never been a classy team. Its something you'll have to live with. If you don't like it use it as motivation to beat them. Next time someone plays them just don't expect good sportsmanship. and for the record, I am not bashing Brentwood at all.

  11. Ive seen both teams play and unfortunately, Brentwood would give jp2 their first loss. Brentwood offense is very good, and jp2 weakness is their defense. I think they have 3 shut outs in 12 wins? I will say that if these teams played jp2 would play alot harder but it just wouldnt be enough. 2 top teams. Both have proven alot

  12. You should see the teams they played there...some schools have played No ONE and are in the top five with losses. I dont see how that is fair. Same on Eurosport.com

I will agree, they should be #5 or #6 ahead of Independence, and Shelbyville, not sure about Bearden but definately ahead of those 2. personally i dont see why shelbyville is in the top 10 but rankings only matter after the state championship. dont worry.

  13. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Funny post considering all you have done on this topic is come on here and belittle JPIIs wins. So JPII fans can't talk good about their team, but you can talk about how they didn't deserve to win?

    Good point. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

  14. Very impressive JPII. I knew you were good but you are officially number one until someone else proves otherwise. Way to go Tinkerbell!

Go Maddox. Hes the reason Tinker scores. He should get the credit, Not Tink

  15. Why is DB so underated.. They are having a terrific season..They atleast deserve top 3/4 in AAA

Dpn't get me wrong, they just haven't played that well of competition this season except for the SC tournament. Give it time... if theyre a great team they'll start turning heads and getting recongition here in the next fews weeks. Keep it up

  16. Let me guess you are a JPII fan. What you don't say in your post is how Farragut pretty much dominated the game between JPII and JPII were losing 1-0 with 13 minutes to go. What you don't say is who controlled play in that game and it was Farragut , NOT JPII and you were there on the field so you know. You played Farragut Tough and they did not recover against CBHS and you JPII benefited because it was such a physical game between CBHS and Farragut , CBHS was to tired to play a fresh JPII back to back..,. Lucky for you, you will never see Farragut again but unlucky for you CBHS will be fresh next time you play them and you will see a different result. I am sure you will get on here and blast my comments but for all of you areound the state KNight and Nick have slanted JPII views since they play there, I will give you credit for a very good team but let either of these teams play you at their home with JPII the traveler, and you have to play them playing back to back games, you might not be so cocky then, different results for sure.......that being said you can crow because you did win and the real time to grow is when they hand you the champion trophy.....Will you be there then??? Don't answer just prove me wrong

ok personally, I hate jp2 and farragut. Say what you want... Faragut and Christian brothers may have better players/skill but at the end of the day jp2 found a way to win. I hate saying this but they are the #1 team right now and they deserve it. It doesn't matter who controled the game, it matters who played the game and took advantage of their challenges. Congrats pope. Don't get a big head though!

  17. It should be some great soccer! Frankly I think Brentwood, Houston, and Hendersonville are down a little as well but Gallatin has not looked good when they have played the better competetion. I haven't seen Collierville or Father Ryan this year so I'm not sure about their teams but they have been historically strong and seem to be doing pretty well this season.

Correctly me if Im wrong. But Brentwood is undefeated. Houston has 1 lose to CBHS. And Hendersonville has 1loss to Bearden. I don't see how those three teams are "down" don't know if you meant that in a bad way or not, I'm just not on the same page
