well always the knox schools are up there but from what i have heard loudon and stone memorial are looking strong to compete

thoughts on sophomores from districts in just a/aa

well we scrimmaged oak ridge and lost 4-O but we played everybody cause of it being a scrimmage but it was 1-0 the whole first half and like 15 min of the second

i like elloit williams he is a big time player and he will go major D-1 and do well in collge ball

i konw it's a long time till the next season, but who are your top picks in double a to compete and get to murfreesboro?

I think Barcelona is right, that filling Hector's hole will be tough, but the same thing can be said about us with Brandon not playing.

 

Do they have a chance for post season? I can't really say, since I don't know what they brought back from last year. I know that our district is tough, with what I hear about Loudon having a good season might make it even tougher.

 

I think that Stone will get more and more competitive each year. I was impressed with them last season, and I think they will do well this season also.

Do you think they have the strength to compete with teams like Knox. Catholic and CAK?

I saw them in a scrimmage last month, and while they had some skilled players, there was absolutely no depth. In fact, I think they only brought 13 or 14 players to the game. Filling the hole left by Hector's return to Spain is going to be tough.

 

I never got to see Hector play, but he played on my brother's travel team (Chippewas). I heard he was really something.

With only 13 or 14 players i can imagine depth being a real problem

Actually, I was pretty impressed by them last season. They had one player who was very talented who is now in Spain training with their pro youth leagues. He had one of the hardest shots we have ever faced that went off the crossbar from about 30 yards out.

 

I would imagine that acm1715 might be a Stone player that is wanting to hear something about his team (which happens a lot on these threads, and there is nothing wrong with that, just somewhat humorous. If I am wrong, I apologize)

 

Stone was very young last year (being a new school) but they got a lot of talent from a good AAA school feeder (I believe their basketball program was very good). I think they will develop to be a top team in our district. I haven't heard much more about them, other than they are our season opener this year.

Stone Memorial Highschool. In A-AA and i saw their schedule and they only lost 2-0 to CAK last season. keepin scoreless till the last few minutes of the game?

I'm new to the East Tennessee and I was wondering who's Smhs??? Are they threat and/or can they make a run in the post season against the knox. area schools?
