I know it's early but what are some suggestions for Gatorade POY and Prepxtra POY

Congrats G! You guys have had a great season considering what you have gone through, when do you guys play next?

Did South-Doyle really almost beat Farragut?

I think Farragut won 3-1 and i think their first goal was an own goal and their third goal was a hand ball, but i also heard that SDs goal was an own goal by the Farragut keeper, so it was a really wierd game.

Could somebody please post the 08 Farragut Roster.

Where and when is the game?

Friday night @ Bearden, i don't know what time though.

Kat is playing outside mid again, Thompson is playing sweeper, while Ben Cooper is playing up top with Jack McCoy.

 

-To dins> Bearden plays as a unit right? Last time I watched bearden play, their mids were no where to be found. I thought Bearden defenders were notorious for clearing balls up to their three strikers.....? Beardens mids are week, 2-2 tie.

- I could be wrong about Bearden's mids no where to be found, we will see.

Thats good that kat is up again, he has too much speed and talent to be playing back, and yeah you are right about bearden, they do not have any mids, their defense just clears the ball to webster, shon, or campbell or whoever else is up there.

first off from what i hear it was not in injury time, but with about 2-3 minutes left; the final was 1-0; and sevier county played the last 10-12 minutes a man down and still punched one in; and the shots on goal were 15-3 by sevier county; so sounds to me that the bears kinda dominated

 

and what a joke that someone from south doyle calls another team dirty; maybe just maybe it was physical soccer that you guys could not handle; i am sure you must be a player or a disgruntled parent; please have your facts straight before you start spouting off at the mouth; and by the way great sportsmanship after the game with half of your players not shaking hands and the ones who did really did not want to, even the head coach

Well, all i heard was the sevier county defense wanted start a fight, and #7 the kid with the bleached hair ran his mouth the whole time, and i know it might have been bad sportsmanship when the SD players did not shake there hands, but it is hard to do that when they were treated so bad on the field by players and the refs. And it was in the goal was in the last 2-3 minutes and that was injury time, because there was 3 minutes of injury time because there were so many SD players getting taken out.

Who are some of the best musicians in east tennessee? or All State members?

Has anybody heard how he is doing this year? i have heard he is in a sophomore slump.

I have always thought that Kat is one of the most dangerous outside mids in the area. I was baffled when I saw him playing outside back. Does anyone have any input on why this move was made? I am guessing it is to keep teams guessing and use him as a surprise on the attack. If this isn't the reason, I am clueless.

Yeah, you are right about that i think, because he will stay back at his defensive spot and the mid in front of him will pinch in and carry the defender with him and Kat is gone in the back door.

Austin Pugh from Maryville is another one to watch.

No, He is too small and his shots arnt strong enough, he took about 3 or 4 against SD that just floated straight to the keeper.

I have seen Kat playing defense twice this year...i dont think he plays up top..i may be wrong though

Yeah, i think you are right, he has been playing alot of d, but Thompson did too near the beggining of the season, but they did put him up top in the jamboree.

I think Bryce Berry and Christian Brewer from South-Doyle are two very explosive players, they could be two of the best in the state and they are on the same team, look for them to dominate especially when they are up top together.

Jackson Strange from South-Doyle is a strong player, about 6'1 lightning speed, great vision i think if his finishing gets a a little better he will be all region freshman year, I think he plays right mid.
