This staff is one of the best kept secrets in East TN. Apparently added a coach this year that has made a world of difference in the W-L column, from what I have been told.

You added a coach that got let go from one place and quit your  team before but they came back  but ,yet that’s a good fit….. you gotta be West Coach… but yet you say it did a world of difference. Word on the street that same Coach trying todo the same thing they did last time which is be HC so brown might be out the door if they succeed Them time around.

    You arguing with yourself here?

Has anyone figured out the playoff scenarios for this game?

From what I have read, if Bearden wins they are the 3 seed.  Cleveland is a lock beat HVA and be the 4 seed, which would leave Farragut is out.

If Farragut wins, then we have a 3 way tie for 3rd place with a head to head to head scenario with Bearden, Farragut, and Cleveland all with 2 region wins.  The next tiebreaker is total wins and Cleveland would have the edge with 6 wins there.

My question is, when Cleveland wins the 3 seed out of the 3 way tie (if Farragut wins Friday), do you move down the list of tiebreakers to decide between BHS/FHS, where Bearden would get the edge due to tiebreaker 4, OR does it go back to head to head where Farragut would get the nod?

Farragut and Bearden have played the exact same schedule except with FHS playing Beech (6-3) and BHS playing Anderson Co. (4-5)  After head to head and total wins, the next tiebreakers are

-games played against the greatest number of teams who have won 50% of their games

-wins against teams that have won 50% of their games

-team whose opponents have earned the most victories

-team whose opponents have received fewer defeats

    -coin flip

logic says it would go back to head to head.  But it's a great question.

Really makes the game so much more intruiguing.

130 ypg with a 63% completion average against opponents that include Alcoa and Maryville.  Fair to say he had some games where he struggled; most notably Sevier County.  But in general, pretty solid.

I went ahead and figured his QBR. It's 118.120.  I calculate Powell QB at 116.469 if M Ax  Pr  EPS is correct.  And I calculate the Central QB 88.062

Who do you think RealNews is referring to? Given last year I assumed the QB now was the heir to the throne. I have a feeling RealNews is a certain former West assistant.

pretty sure several of these accounts are.

The QB has played well all year, who else would have played the position?

Dude makes an account to tell us West has a better QB riding the pine…. Interesting…. Trouble in paradise…

Nah.  It's the same troll again.  And where that troll actually is, the trouble is palpable... and the record is crap.

Brand new account chimes in and Slams West's coach.  I wonder who it could be?

Side note:  This new account has only made two comments so far.  One on the West thread, and one on the Oak Ridge thread.  This is a very puzzling mystery...

Lamar Brown hasn’t won a big game yet. He lost kids and coaches along with playing Political ball with that QB(Principal Son) along many other kids who shouldn’t be playing . Central beat them the last time they played and I see them beating them again only because of coaching. The HC at central has a state ring and knows how to beat west as well.  So bobcats +28 .

According to the Fulton radio broadcast Central was down some 15 players to covid protocol for the game. Could have made a difference, not sure. If you saw the Halls/Central game Friday night, Central left several points on the field, but I guess every team can claim that at times.

and gave central a short field from the onside that led directly to a TD.
