Hes not a saint cause he's Protestant, but do you know how rare it is for a high school football coach in TN to be ejected from a game? I know of 2 cases in all of my years and they both happened last year. Warrior aren't u an HC guy? Why so defensive or are you Hodge still fighting the HC fight???

Coach Hodge is sometimes too passionate during a game. He lets poor officiating get to him sometimes. He was penalized on several occasions and was ejected once. I love the passion and my bet is that now that he's a head coach that it won't happen again (the penalties and ejection). The players and fans will love him and he WILL win!

Passionate and instability are very different! My brother has coached a long time and the program he is with is very successful and passionate but I can assure you there has never been a flag thrown on any of the coaches and an ejection is just embarrassing!

Ok here is my second hand knowledge. One on ones were very physical with a couple of bench clearing chest bumps. Advantage NS. In team Peapody couldn't stop NS's backs. Multiple big runs in 5 play setting. NS looked good. Peapody didn't have everyone there.

From what I'm hearing, North Side will be back in state polls next year.

Why would they hire a drifter? If Coach Mac is seriously considering leaving North Side, why would they hire this guy?

The east rules, but if Memphis/Shelby County wasn't so screwed up, it would be a totally different story. Way better players top to bottom. Just no coaching.

That was 1989. DCA game Class A was postponed for more than a hour to clear the ice off the field. Nothing done to the stands so the fans had to chip away the ice from the steps and the bleachers. Still not the coldest football I have been to.

Yea he was a head baseball coach for 8 years but from what I understand, gave it up to have more time with his own kids. Had a lot of success in baseball too.

Hope its not true, but from what I understand, Coach Mac from Jackson North Side is in the mix as well. He is from Waverly. LBKILLER he is the one that suited up for the Vols!

several teams have had more size than us...mcnairy...south side even bolivar...most everyone liberty plays is bigger than us...were just better at what we do and teams for whatever reason dont play assignment football to stop it
