  1. Not nearly enough for McKenzie. 5 to 6 hundred.
  2. Hillsboro will not score 21 in the 1st or any quarter. Hillsboro is highly capable of winning. While I'm not sure Hillsboro will be the best offense HC has seen this year, HC will be the best offense that Hillsboro has seen. HC must play defense when they are on offense by getting the running game in gear and keeping the ball away from Hillsboro. If HC turns the ball over as they did in Memphis, this could get ugly. Hillsboro will be less athletic than Melrose (not cutting Hillsboro short, Melrose was just extremely athletic), but much more disciplined. I have seen both teams play and would not be surprised by any outcome. Should be a close game, but both teams have enough athletes to win in a rout with a few ill timed penalties or turnovers.
  3. I am not even from McKenzie. But Butchie, you have your hands full dealing with "sb38devils" this week. Good luck to the Rebels this week.
  4. When is the last time JB massacred a team from the west in the playoffs?
  5. Would you prefer Hooper or Teague chasing down a Fairly/MelroseHillsboro punt returner?
  6. THis thread has picked up in the last few days. Good luck tomorrow night to both teams. Not that Maryville needs any help, but I hope you and HC win out. That will be a very good championship game.
  7. Good luck to McKenzie tomorrow night. I have stated the winner of the McKenzie/UC game will have a date with SP. Not that is a good thing, but I still feel that you will get there. Have an injury free game.
  8. My guess is, that was Boski in disguise. The way he pulls against Henry County and Hillsboro, it would not surprise me if he was in Memphis today helping Melrose with a game plan.
  9. Well, I did. And I checked out the other teams that you have played. Who, other than Maplewood, have you beaten? Maplewood was beaten by Beech. I think you should be concerned with Beech instead of whether you can HC's offense.
  10. Beating HC and stopping their offense are not the same thing. While I think that Hillsboro has a chance to beat HC, they will not stop the offense. I am hoping both teams take care of business so that they can play. Just as Melrose poses an obstacle for HC, Beech poses an even larger obstacle for Hillsboro.
  11. Not really. I do appreciate how MBA operates their program. I used to coach and miss it a great deal, especially at playoff time. Try to see good games vs just one team. I have seen HC 2 times this year. They have a great team and apparently a good group of young men. They got hit in the mouth often and early last night and got up off the mat. Trust me, not all high school football players will do that. I think Fairly did exactly what they needed to do to win the game, HC just responded like a winner. Not sure Fairly could beat them once in a 10 game series. I do believe the Melrose game will pose some obstacles for HC. Long bus ride, intimidating environment, and what I believe to probably be better athletes than Fairly (and they had great ones). Based on what I witnessed last night, Coach Gaddis has a group of fine young men. I don't often make predictions unless I want to rattle a cage, but I feel that the winner of HC and Hillsboro will win the Gold Ball. Maryville is very solid, just not what they sometimes are. They also have obstacles in front of them. I feel that Rhea Co, and Sullivan South are both capable of testing them. We'll see. Good luck at the mound. I hope to to make the game myself.
  12. I am pretty sure you do. Please, don't try to be like "Boski" and start pulling against HC. I hope you both win. I will travel to see that game.
  13. I would say that you are already making excuses. But even if you play Hillsboro, I think Maryville loses this year. I saw HC play last night and this team could play with several of the past Maryville teams. Don't know if they could have beaten them and don't care. Win or lose, Hillsboro and HC are better than Maryville this year. Quarrels is hard to out prepare.
  14. Only that they probably lose next week.
  15. If a late fumble is the only mistake UC makes, this game will not be close. From the perspective of a non-partisan, UC has too many weapons that McKenzie has not seen. I have read about the officiating in the last meeting. What stands out to me is the turnovers by UC. If McKenzie really was UC's equal, that should have been disasterous for UC. My guess is that is why the game was close enough for a call to make a difference. If it really did. UC is literally, "not the same team that played in the last game." I hate I can't see this one. Close for a while. UC by 21. Sorry GURU.
  16. The way you pull against Henry County and Hillsboro, would lead one to think you do not want an opportunity to play those teams.
  17. That is not confidence, it is ignorance. (As in lack of knowlege)
  18. I would like some of the Kool-Aid that you have been drinking.
  19. I don't have a horse in this race. I do think it will be a great game. I also think the winner will get to face SP in the 'boro. Not sure that is a reward. Good luck to both teams.
  20. OK. No game Friday. McKenzie moves on.
  21. My guess is, that makes UC fans happy.
  22. Sounds like you do not want any of HC or Hillsboro.
  23. TCA will not be in Tiptonville nor will the week 4 Falcon team. Way too much for Gleason. Hope no one is injured. Have a great game.
