this is embarrassing as a cak fan to drop the series with webb pretty much on the sole basis of webb beating cak and cak being mad about it b/c they can offer scholarships. If cak wants to make it even A work harder or B go to DII. That being said if cak ever went to DII and started offering scholarships i would loose all respect for their athletic department. Sometimes in life you have to understand that life isn't always fair and get over the little issues and face life head on as man, not as a child who gets beat then complains and runs away.

ok well i'm going to weigh in on this one alcoa wins by a lot. Why? many teams (that haven't played alcoa before) need to understand that probably 3/4 of the game against alcoa is mental. i mean starting with TOO HYPE (do it with them and see what happens it is amusing) then the blow up helmet and fireworks trust me it is an event to witness (i've seen it 8 times the last 4 years all standing from the opponents sideline). Marion County has to view this as an oppurtunity to go have some fun. Most importantly is they have to sincerely believe that they can win. I've witnessed what a team can do if they just sincerely believe they can win and what happens when they know they can't win. Alcoa is human and i think if any year they can be beaten it is this year but i still think that they will beat any team just because they have the name alcoa and know one believes they can beat them. oh and they are pretty good

PS. alcoapaintedbridge you made my day a variety of times with your witty photos my personal favorite was the picture of the magic box or you can't spell sack without cak. Priceless stuff

cak has the possibility to score if anyone watched the webb game they know that the only thing that has stopped cak's offense is itself

What does everyone think about this game?

ok well that is insane first if that is true it isn't healthy for kids to work out four times a week on top of practicing and playing on friday second i agree about the grade thing because football is not as import as grades but that is still insane. what are they going to do?

are u serious that they only have 17 players?

oh and just to get this officially out of the way cak offered to do a home and home series but pages coach wanted them to have a roadtrip so that is why both games are at cak

cak wins with the offense moving the ball well through the air but it will be close

cak dominated powell in the jamboree i mean i understand it was a jamboree but i would put them ahead and maybe halls ahead of catholic right now by the end of the season no but right now halls is a better team b/c they have experience something catholic is definitly lacking

well good job for u, usually when a team commits 5 turnovers thats what happens and cak was still in the game but oh well good job u picked it i mean u had a 50% chance of getting it right and for someone to be able to do that is amazing, i'm shocked just tell me can u see the future bc i think u can

either alcoa beats them or they carry their streak to the next season it is that simple and about the game everyone is talking about how good alcoa is and they are exceptional this year but i think over the last couple years they have had better talent than maryville (ie randall cobb, shiverdecker, lindsey, warren, etc) and still can't get a win i don't know if it is coaching or what but maryville just won't loose this one

anybody know if this game is going to continue when the new regions come out bc i think it should because it is becoming a little rivalry game i would hate for it to be dropped

cak will never play grace unless grace wins a state championship soon which might happen but i doubt it

about the platooning system i was a skeptic at first to be honest i like most of the people on this board thought that the product on the field wouldn't be as good but i've been watching CAK and they do it no one plays both ways it is a different 11 each side of the ball and i'm amazed at what the difference is between guys who don't have to play both ways and the guys that only play both ways, now saying this i think at powell they might be a little heavy on the offensive side of the ball but who knows all i'm saying is a team can take players that aren't as gifted and compete and even dominate players who are better but play both ways and because of this why doesn't powell do more to wear down their opponent it might have just been in the jamboree but if they do play guys only one way i would expect them to be a hurry up offense and just wear down the other team but just my own thoughts

alcoa by alot, as the guy above put it don't take it as an insult alcoa is just on a different level than most teams and i didn't see any pre season games for alcoa i'm assuming it is going to be the same this year

oh yeah for the most part private schools are the same as public schools kids are just better at hiding it and about the grace taking over yeah i can just feel it and i mean it isn't anything bad but it is coming for sure alot of money is getting pumped into that school and it is on the rise so alot of people are now considering going there and playing football what happens to grace after the reclassification? will they still be playing the same people bc if so i think they could start to dominate on that leve

i think prattville will win this by 20 i wish it wasn't but i think it will come to light that the top alabama teams are just better than the top tn teams, i wish maryville would be playing prattville instead i think it would be alot better to see where tn high school football is at but oh well

no it is funny bc cak gets no respect and grace who has had a football team for what four years is ranked ahead of them i guarantee u if u had a cak grace matchup cak would win by 35+
