  1. well like i said earlier i hope you guys are right. can't wait to see how rayl plays......and will central run the football in the first half this year unlike last year? last year they liked to get behind and then run their way back into the game(polk co!) I would love to see them come out the gate and run the football like that first, control the clock, and wear the other team down.

I think you will see more of the same thing. NOW, Coach Derrick has an arm to throw it with. He will keep throwing maybe even more. Might end up waiting too long to go to what works this year /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

  2. Is there a better center in this region than Tommy Bunch of Meigs County? Hard working, with outstanding leadership. During practice he is always vocal ,encouraging us all , with never a negative word. With players in our system like Tommy we will always be winners, no matter how many people write us off.

By the way, he is also a baptist preacher.

Probably not, Wiggles51 is an outstanding ball player, though with his speed he would probably better serve as a guard or tackle. Tough kid. As far as preaching, hope he doesn't fall into the ways of the world. Look forward to watching him play.

  3. Central only lost 5 from last year, 2 on defense (DT, DE) 3 on offense (G, TE, RB). Hate to say it but those positions will be filled with bigger, faster, and stronger players this year. Central will miss Slack and Barnett's leadership and play making but they are loaded with tallent at the positions they played. Two transfers are in workouts and another is suppose to be there monday and all three will play and possibly start. D. J. King went through spring and is a beast at DE opposite returning all state DE Ben Stiles, both juniors. The other kid is from New Jersey and played QB but has skills that can be used else where if needed. All in All, a very skilled and experienced team returning on both sides of the ball.

Thought they lost a senior kicker too. Which guard is gone? The one who played right guard was a big one.

  4. I think Old Pride has the rankings right except possibly Seq. above Meigs. I think Meigs is in serious trouble with Rayle at Central. Central Defense would have been stout anyway, adding transfers King & Rayle in the mix will be dominating.

You folks at Central are going to have to learn how to spell Rayl, You will be hearing it called a lot. No E

  5. so folks tell me who you think are the upcoming sophmores to watch...

    meigs has a 5'9 or 5'10 210 lb. CB... Jacob "J-Wat" Wattenbarger

he is an excellent third down corner with 4.4 speed...
