I would like to hear from someone on the inside about our returning players and new players. Especially the key positions. I know Maupin will probably be the QB even though he's being pushed from Cassell for some playing time. What about the RB's and receivers? Kicker. Defense. ETC..... I've heard we took in a transfer from JI Burton? Defensive lineman maybe? Can't wait to hear. And any injury updates. ROLL TRIBE

Just remembering that these are kids and sometimes grades and or maturity can come into play. I remember a couple of examples of players I was excited about seeing on Friday nights that turned out to never happen. I don't know anything about this kid but I hope he has everything going in the right direction for him. He's an outstanding player and had the potential to be a big time athlete. Hoping for the best outcome possible.

We have some good young talent coming including a freshman RB if they give him a chance to play up. He could be the next coming of Chris Sensabaugh if all goes well. Can't wait to go to the SHIP to play Oak Ridge. That's always been my favorite game of the year. I'm looking forward to an exciting year. ROLL TRIBE

After a year off the message board, I am back. I can't wait for the season to start and the Indians get back in the winning ways. Looking forward to having a visit from the mighty Rebels as this will be a true measuring stick of what we have and what we need to do to get better. ROLL TRIBE

Business as usual for the Clone Army. I like that it wasnt that cold last night. Had a good time except for the one jerk SH fan that showed his butt. No, just because we are DB fans we won't sit on the Maryville side. Really? I thought I might have to spend the night in the Blount County jail. Glad he shut his mouth before all heck broke loose. Obviously your one of the azz kissers that's part of the problem at DB. I've been following this program since before Clark took over. He's been good but its time. And you can go with him. I'm tired of it. And YES, I think I could have coached a few of his teams farther in the playoffs then him. PERIOD!!! NO DOUBT!!! HE DOESNT SEE THE OBVIOUS PROBLEMS AND DOESNT FIX THIM. Well it pains me to say this but SH does have a chance in this game because of the offense. Now, the only way to win is to play a flawless game without turnovers or stupid penalties. On the other hand, and this is the hard part, Maryville has to have a couple turnovers, which might not happen. To beat Maryville, SH will have to score 49 points period!!! And that is almost impossible !!!! We shall see. I would like to see success from Upper East Tennessee. This is going against my heart but I'm going to say in SH perfect game they will win 49-45. I'm not a the head coach of this team but I could have come up with a better game plan in about five minutes. Hello, shorten the game. Limit SH number of possessions. They can't stop our run and we throw. WTF!!!!!

I've never been a fan of East at QB but I blame the staff for putting him in positions of desperation. He did all his talent could do. Take Holt for example, awesome athlete, problems passing but when you put him at QB everyone knew he was running. We couldn't let him throw it once? This staff is DONE!!! Too old, to set in there ways. Time to bring in some young coaches and i don't care who. Name something in Clark's honor and show him the door. If we don't make a change you're going to see the new stadium half full from now on. For the first time in 18 years I left the game early. IN THE THIRD QUARTER!!!! I think Clark has a timeshare in Florida every year the week before Thanksgiving. This is one fed up Indian and I'm not alone. I think this team is two years away but it will be all for nothing if we don't have a staff who can use it. Oh, and I hate our offense!!!! Its like watching UT when Worley was the QB. I know common opponents isn't the best measuring, but Ooltewah shut Bradley Central out in a dominant fashion. For the Bears to have put that much pressure and points on Science Hill, I can't help but think y'all should win the rematch. The fans who went to Kingsport left very impressed with your team.

The problem with us this year is we are very inconsistent. We look like Champs one minute and chumps the next. Good luck in round #2.

If he wants to play big boy ball and dethroan Maryvílle he will. I heard he has suggested that the thought of it has intrigued him. I guess he's tired of beating Oakie Dokie High 100 gazillion to ZERO!!!!!

I just want to say as an avid fan of the Tribe I was very disappointed with the lack of fan support last Friday night. We've been sitting in the same seats for years and I the stands were full of people I've never seen before. Kingsport should be ashamed of itself for not supporting the program. Yeah it was cold but not that cold. These kids work hard and should be cheered for as they fight to bring a win to our school and city. I know we always seem to find a way to lose but we didn't. Clark almost did it again. Having said that, I think this week he gets it done. If not, the bring on Coach Ballard chants will start again. Depending on if and how we lose, I might be one of them. Oh yeah, the winner gets a last meal before a bus ride to Blount County for another humiliating butt whooping to Maryville.

Shouldn't be close but DB fans know the drill. Clark's brain relaxes come November every year. Therefore its 50/50.After this we get Science Hill in a rematch and the winner of that one gets a bus ride and a butt whooping in Blount County(AKA This ain't Knoxville)

Non conference as I understand are confirmed as Oak Ridge and Sevier County. Tenn High is deciding between DB and S Hill but they will choose us for the large numbers we bring to the gate.

Oh I know who the haters are. I knew the Boone guy wasn't a hater but it seems you old North guys are about the worst DB haters. Except for a couple of them I work with who actually know something about the game. Hey, this Kingsport, support the Tribe and each other. Don't be jealous and hate on us because of our success. Guys, I'm going to say this is the game to pull out all your trick plays and smoke and mirrors.  A little bird close to the action has assured me that you can look for a fake PAT early.   Remember you read this here first:   McGue will account for more total yards (running, passing, receiving) than DB's entire team.     But will that alone be enough to win?  Yes, Toppers win this one.    Not a blowout my any means, but Toppers win solidly.
