I love the guards for Oakland as well. I just think playing on the road will be a big disadvantage.

 

Bradley has been on a roll and appears to be a team to be reckoned with.

 

I will say this. There is one team I feel can derail Blackman and that is Riverdale.

 

Some people forget the first time they played at Blackman all Riverdale had to do to win the game was for Brandy Alley to make one pass to a wide open Davenport standing under the goal in the last few seconds. Give Blackman credit for hanging on. But I am very concerned about Riverdale. I've always heard its hard to beat a good team 3 times. Just ask White County and Clarkrange. Both those teams failed in their attempt to take a 3rd victory from a very good opponent.

I was at that game, and I don't believe that one play cost Riverdale the game.  The were more than seconds left on the clock, and Riverdale had the chance to score again.

Friendship Christian won the Wilson Central Fling this past weekend.

FCS Volleyball is a class act program!!!, have watched them play many times and have never seen unsportmanship displayed at anytime. They are a very good team and very disciplined on court! It is SAD that when a team starts doing well how people want to start saying things about them. GOOD JOB, goes a long way. It only makes you look bad when you start posting negative about a team.

Congratulations on Friendship Christian for willing the Smyrna Bulldog Bash, I was able to watch the Championship game and was very impressed with this team. Lots of talent and well coached. Congratulation to Riverdale also!!

Yes they are. Only need one big win over top schools and they are rated likely 2-3 slots below MJ> If they beat MJ, who knows.

if not mistaken, MJ is 2-12 in tournament play against WC.

I'd be careful with the phrase "by far best coach in Tennessee". If I'm not mistaken I believe Mt. Juliet has one of the best coaches in the State. AND I believe he has a winning record against Bud. AND Bud has "NEVER" beaten Mt. Juliet in the Cave. AND Mt. Juliet has a winning record against Wilson Central at their gym. IF Bud is "by far best coach in Tennessee" why does he have a losing record to Chris Fryer?

They should have a pretty good incoming Freshmen team.

At this time, I do not think they have been beat! I saw them play on Sunday, they are quick and seemed to have more experience.

Yea, I figured so, the ring thing which I agree every "champion" earns and deserves would be way to exspensive for TSSAA's taste. I would have been if just part of my gate $ would go to cover something with that much class. Congrats to GC they had a big fan base show each game and a really good team. Oh well, its a pleasure to break jr's piggy bank for such a worthy cause and I'm sure after he grows up and learns what cheap scapes TSSAA are he will fully understand why daddy had to do what he did.
