With all due respect, you might want to take a look at Boyd's playoff record when they play at home. Since 2002, when the Bucs host a playoff game they are 13-1. I fully expect that record to be 14-1 after Friday night. They are tough to beat at home. Bucs win 35-14.....

Nice record there for Boyd in the past, but with all due respect if you will go back and read my post again I am talking about this year.

Lets try and get this thread back on the game. None of these accusations are going to help Marion Co. or Boyd win on Friday night. Lets take pride in what these kids have done this year and give them a nice week of trash talk, since we are all a bunch of older folks that can't do anything but talk. First off let me ask that everyone bare with me here, I'm playing catch up, been busy all weekend and just now getting a chance to catch up on all these post. With that said, Boyd has a very good team this year and I have several good friends at Boyd and I have wished them the best for all their games but 2. Some not all from Boyd have a lot of class and Marion fans most but not all have a lot of class also. I have 1 question though..... this thread is supposed to be about the up coming rematch between Marion and Boyd so why does it seem to be turning out to be a debate about public and private schools. I graduated from a public school and had many friends that graduated from private schools those decisions were made by our parents not by us. I do not want to end up being a part of this debate but I do feel the need to say this and I think that others will agree just because we went to public schools does not mean that we had to settle for the education that we received!!! With all that said can we please keep this topic about the game.

This should be a very good game, the first match up was a nail biter and I believe the team that wants it more will prevail. I say the MIGHTY WARRIORS come out on top after a hard fought game and redeem themselves for that 1 point loss to Boyd earlier in the season.

Boyd has no worries they are going to pull this out because quite frankly Marion County has nothing on Boyd in fact they are so mediocre compared to Boyd and I can't believe any of you would even have to ask if Reaction would be there of course he will. Reaction is right though Boyd has their starters now and it won't be a one point win...with Webster on the line and Hughes at quarterback not to mention all the other phenomenal players on their team they will annihilate Marion County.

It's funny you say Marion has nothing on Boyd....I think you need to go back and check the records......For one Boyd has the same record that Marion does. Second if my memory serves me correctly this mediocre team was only beat by 1 point in our first match up. All those phenomenal players couldn't handle Tyner and I do believe that Marion handled them quite well. You keep on thinking that this is gonna be a push over game for Boyd and I'll be sure to bring you some tissue because I'm sure you are gonna need them.

Agreed... Both teams have shed off there skins from earlier in the season and the new and improved version of both are playing some serious ball ... I see another game coming down to the last few ticks ... However, Boyd i must warn you the new... "Scrappified"...Warriors find a way to stay in ball games, no matter how hard ya hit'um...

Congrats to my Mighty Warriors on Win tonight!!! A very hard hitting, hard fought football game for both teams but just have to say I'm glad that MIGHTY PURPLE STORM PULLED THROUGH and will be heading up to Boyd next Friday. I was very impressed with the sportsmanship of both teams. Smith Co. hold your heads up high you played a great game and never quit and left it all on the field. I was very impressed with the facilities there at Smith Co. the only negative thing I have to say is the parking left a little to be desired....lol.......otherwise a very pleasant experience. I must say I really enjoyed that horn you guys have up there.....think I might have to check in to finding me one of those..!!!!! Warriors keep up the good work, stay level headed and taking it one game at a time. I sure am looking forward to round 2 against Boyd.....keep your eye on the prize and keep working together and you'll be surprised at what the outcome could be!!!!

I meant when we gang tackle other teams running backs to the ground. It takes about 5 of them but they all pitch in to help the runner back to his feet.

Their abilities have been underestimated the last 3 years and now they are getting the chance to prove what they are made of!!!
