Congrats to TC thanks for keepin the gold in the east, and to Jo Byrns you guys impressed the heck out of me and alot of other people im sure yall had a great season and should be proud.

i don't know which refs were worse the ones in the SP vs. TC game or this state championship game...They are killing TC on questionable late hit calls...I will go ahead an congratulate TC on a state title because they are gashing JB and can not stop them.. So congrats from your buddies at SP!

Yes....we lose #20, #3, and a tough DE #31, those linemen will need to develop quickly! It's possible there is a gem there, because of the players that currently occupied TNT. If we get two or three hole pluggers, Tony has the tools to rebuild a solid defense again. He has a lot of bodies to choose from, odds are he will find a couple of dandies that simply had strong players in front of them. The development here is going to go a long way in determining the fate of next years team. With the number of players currently on our football team, chances are good that he will locate what he needs. As close as we were this season, his players should be hungry to build on the success they tasted this year! Its all going to be wait and see what the Spring brings to this football team.

Im just hopin those big lineman hit the weight room hard until next season and get bigger faster and stronger! if they do that then our run game should be acceptionaly well again

If you ask me....and I'm sure no one is /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> , the Indians will have some serious shoes to fill in several areas. The development of those young interior linemen will probably be a priority. We have some kids with pretty good size and they need to hit the iron hard over the off-season. There is no shortage of skill players coming back, although the loss of Lewallen and Slaven will be felt, we should be able plug those holes up with players that have been waiting on the wings. Sexton will make the loss of Lewallen bearable, while Blevins has shown the athletic ability to cover for Slaven's departure. I hope he (Blevins) will show the intelligence and savvy that we had at this position over the season. At any rate, he has an excellent arm and throws a tight ball, which will certainly make our passing game formitable if our receivers develop as well as the last unit. Athletically, we will be able to plug some bodies there, too.

 

Defensively, Tony Lambert has his work cut out for him. That defensive line was very good and they will be sorely missed until some players prove themselves this Spring and next Fall. His linebacking unit will be better, and if they put on some weight they will be a stout group of headhunters. The secondary will return two starters, but they have a lot of kids that played minutes, so they won't be inexperienced. They stoled a lot of balls this past season and if they are as good as the last bunch, look for more of the same again.

 

The special teams will return their two primary kickers, so there won't be any drop off here. Our kicker will need a little more consistency, but he definitely has the talent. Sexton's punting will be a real weapon, when he catches one it usually goes a long way. Even when he doesn't get all of it, we are still looking at 40 something yards.

 

We'll be in the hunt again no doubt.....their are too many good players for us to fall off a whole lot. We suited up 50+ players this season (lose 12), and I heard we get about 14+ players off of the Jr High team that won the Sectional Championship earlier this year. Tony will stir the pot and make another "potent" stew! Bank on it!

kaz i know different people played from time to time in the secondary, but our primary starters were all underclassmen

Coalfield is working hard but i agree onieda will most likely have a good season that RB up there is insane

Well it depends on when you play them. A few years ago they were undefeated when we beat them. The kids kicked the ball off the field and the game was stopped with two minutes left. But at one point they did play home games fyi

2004 we played them, their Qb was a beast! i think they would be a good team most years if they would maybe play better as a team, cause to them im sure winning isnt that important they prbly just wanna go out there and have fun

Oneida made a good run this year, and are losing alot of big men up front and a leader at Qb. They have alot to live up to after this season but i dont expect anything less than a run for the gold again. What do you guys think?

Agreed. I watched this team all season and kept away from coachT. Got to say, by far the best team this town has seen in a looooong time. Nothing to hold your heads about, played great all year long.

You sound just like me after you fellas came to watertown and beat us right silly. We had turnovers in the redzone, but you said we didnt screw up, you forced us to. To call Creasy a cheat is outright classless, be a man and take a loss. Creasy didnt even have a headset on, hows it doing any good. Also keep in mind that it was in the first quarter when the first fifteen snaps are scripted, he wasnt callin in special plays. Ive seen trousdale four times and its five yards and a cloud of dust unless they break one. You try to cram them and they run their naked play and score on ya. Thats TC, smashmouth and dare you to stop them. Get over it, take a loss and quit whining and quit calling a great coach and great man a cheat.

Well first off i wanna say congrats to Trousdale and i hope they win the gold ball next week! 2nd to the Indians yall had a heck of a season and played a great game tonight, nobody really gave us a chance guys but we showed we deserved to be there. and as for who is better SP or Oneida we will never know, but as Creasy said after the game and i quote him "yall are the best team we've played all year and you can tell South Pitt that" but who knows guys the better team won tonight and i wish TC luck next week! A couple of things i didnt like about the game was of course the deal with the head sets which was just crazy, and on the punt return for a touchdown that TC had i really thought they blocked #14 from Oneida in the back?? and i we just couldnt tackle tonight i didnt feel like our dbs did a good job of comin up and makin plays on the ball carriers, ecspecailly number #5 he played a great game and it seemed like he made EVERY tackle on defense.. but all in all i hope all the doubters out there will see Oneida did deserve to be here and SP may be better than us but we played tonight and thats all that matters, Seniors goodluck with everything from here on out and once again good luck to TC next week im pullin for ya

Well ive had computer troubles about all week and just got a chance to read and catch up this mornin, friday is finally here.. and oddly when i woke up a few hours ago.. two a days was on tv and i havent seen it on in a long time, it was the episode of the semi final game and i thought? is it meant to be haha jk but it did get me pumped up, tonight is gonna be a great atmosphere with alot of die hard football fans there.. i hope to see a game that will go down as one of the greats. the 2 teams mirror eachother in alot of aspects of the game. The indans need to come out and play to win.. because if you wanna stay there you gotta play there so if they want a shot at the gold next week they gotta play like they deserve it!
